Welcome to Species Education where we go through all of the species in our little city and explain them all to you so you can understand my world and books more. I'm going to go with the term Warlocks to make this easier but this goes for both Warlocks and Witches

Types of  Warlocks

There are three types of Warlocks in the world but only two for them are taught that they have any sort of importance because the balance of the world between good and evil rest in their shoulders.

Each Warlock is born with a mark on the inside of their right wrist which dictates what kind of magic and what kind of warlock they will be.

Light Arts

The first type of Warlock is a Light Arts is which means that this type of Warlock generally uses "Good" magic, the ones form spell books and that you learn in school. Examples would be: Curing diseases, Aiding in Famine, Working with Faeries to grow the earth back, etc.

Light Art Warlocks usually have heterochromia eyes. Those are eyes that are a gradient of different colors.

Dark Arts Faeries

Usually considered evil though the more accurate term would be neutral though they use darker magic. They can come up with spells and use those that they get form Daeom Casters and Drifters which are Warlocks and any Magic based supernatural that doesn't belong to a group, Coven or clan.

Usually have eyes with a cat slit in them because if they practice and have a good teacher they can see through multiple realms at once. A they can also shift into cats or snakes if they want.

Neutral

Neutral Warlocks are just that. They can use any type of magic and usually only practice the basics, the every day magic that any Warlock can train in and master. Most of these kinds of warlocks are free to do as they please however they are discriminated against sometimes because they belong to neither group.

There eyes are normal shaped but can be any color of the rainbow.

Culture

Warlocks don't have an united culture, not even food is the same all around, however there are a few exceptions.

They never ever use magic in Sunday's. There's a record of a boy doing so to practice and he was never seen again.

Don't do magic with your mom dominant hand by itself or else the spell will be backwards and you'll end up with a car on the roof instead of a flower in hand.

Never ever walk into the shadows if you're not a Dark Arts Warlock. If you can't produce your own light or if you don't have something that's bright enough to protect you, run. And don't look back.

Warlocks have also adopted Goth Culture

Warlocks are also cousins to Faeries. It's believed that the Faerie Queen and Enchantress were sisters that bora kids. The Queen's children could only one kind of magic if they were of pure royal descent. The Enchantress' children could do all kinds of basic magic but eh it talents between light and dark split them us.

Faeries and Warlocks are two sides of the same coin, one just in the shadows a little more than the other.
