Welcome to species education. When it comes to my books you guys know that my Species, Characters and Plots are nothing like typically books so There's always stuff to learn. Species Education will be a new series where I educate you guys on different species in my series. Let's begin.

Faeries are a magical species that have special powers that help connect them with the world and their ancestors. These powers are Water, Fire, Healing, Earth, Spiritual, Dark and Light.

One Faerie can inly have one power, even if they have parents with different Talents. The only Faeries that have more than one Talent are the Royals. The Royals can do all magic without aid or assistance.

Here are the different types of Talents and Faeries explained.

Earth

Earth Faeries are the ones that have control over the earth and any natural organic material. This means that can make a tree grow from the ground, start an earthquake, or bend nature to your will. Earth Faeries have brown eyes and are typically very nurturing people.

Their training isn't that severe, they just have to practice not making everything grow when they touch us and build up to moving big things.

Water

Water Faeries are those in the Faerie world that control anything to do with water. This can sometimes include plants, animals, and even humans. Those who use their gifts against man kind are either killed or get their Magic taken by the Crown. Water Faeries have blue eyes and are usually calm and chill, always ready to go with the flow of things.

Water training is long, but not harsh, water just takes a long time to master because of all the different things it can do: help healers, help growth, and see history through its gaze.

Fire

Regardless of what many people believe, Fire Faeries are not destructive and dangerous. Just like the other elements they're important to society. Fire Faerie help with things like conserving energy, farming and work closely with Light Faeries.

Since their Talent is one of the more dangerous ones, Fire Faeries have to go through tough rigorous training almost every day to make sure they don't accidentally hurt someone. Fire Faeries are one of the strongest kinds in the world which is why they're so feared and respected.

Typically your hot headed friend that's always down for an adventure and is always outspoken. They have black eyes and usually dark hair.

Healing

Though they are not the most powerful, Healing Faeries are the most respected and important Faeries in the land. Their power comes from the moon and their own energy that they use to help people. Sometimes water being infused with the Healing magic can make the process easier which is why the two Talents work so close together.

Healing training tacks years to master. It goes beyond just letting some of your life force slip into another. It can often time get messy and very dangerous.

Usually very selfless and calm. The "mom" friend. Always looking out for other and protective of everyone even strangers. Healing Faeries have grey eyes.

Spiritual

Spiritual Faeries are those that are able to connect themselves with the Spirit world and their ancestors. Spirit Faeries can also be Seers meaning they have the ability to See the future or things going on somewhere else through what most call their "third eye".  Most Spirit Faeries are Apprentices until they are ready, and since this is a rare Talent that can be extremely usefully, Spirit Faeries usually are sheltered from the moment they are born.

Spirit Faeries can have any color eyes but they have a ring of white around their iris. In more recent years their eyes have been hazel.

Not too sure of their personalities, too shy to reveal it after being warned away from strangers all their lives.

Dark

Dark Faeries are those who work closely with Daemons, the Underworld, Warlocks and Witches and often try to keep the Unmentionables away from the rest of the world. They are neither good or bad, but sometimes some hug the line and fall over to the dark side. They can change their appearance, if you saw them I would say run to be safe, but you would never even know.

Light

Light Faeries are the Faeries that balance out the evil and work closely with the Divine. They do their best to make sure the darker side of the Supers don't interfere with the rest that have learned harmony with humans. Though Dark and Light Faeries are always butting heads, sometimes they need to work together for the greater good.

Light Faeries can have any eye color, but it will be very pale. Sometimes they are mistaken for Vampires. They can be very stuck up and arrogant because of their position making a lot of Faeries not like them even if they're needed.

Royal

Those of the Royal family by blood are masters of all the elemental Talents along with Healing. They have inly a touch of Dark and Light in them to balance them out but not too much to where they're warring with themselves.

Each royal has one element that they're best at and rely on most.

Not that much information because Royal secrets are the best kept outside of Court.

Those are all the different types of Faeries and here are some Cultural things you should know.

Religion

The Faeries all pray to the Faerie Queen who is their love deity and rules over all in the Faerie land. Since she is an actually person just in spirit form, she can't lead all the different Faerie Territories. This is how there are Crown Princes and Princesses.

Royalty

The Crown either falls to the first born or the most powerful. If the First born doesnt want it, then the other sibling(s) have ti prove that they are powerful enough and capable enough to take the thrown. All siblings must train in the way of Court and Politics until the Prince/Princess gets Crowned.

Once their sibling officially becomes ruler, the others have a choice to continue to be royalty and be involved in the Court and what goes on with their people or they can give up their rights and live as Lords or just regular civilians.

Royal Guard

These standings are also passed down in generations because these are the people that protect the Royal with their life. Training for the next generation of warriors starts as soon as the children of the Royal family start theirs as well. If you want your kid to join the force, you have to make sure they are perfect when they show up for the first week of training. But be warned, if they make it, they will be treated differently than the rest.

It's all about Blood in the Faerie Court.

Marriage

Royals are always married to their Knot even if they have to wait ten years after they become of age to find them. In the mean time they are to be Courted by a eligible partner.

There has never been a same sex marriage in Royal history.

Ever.

Marriage: Civilians

The Faeries are the most open minded species when it comes to sexually fluid people as well as gender fluid people. They rejoice in everything and they are the first Super species that has their own Pride Parade.
