Over Again
"He needs you."
Parker's pencil let off the paper for a brief second. She turned her head to her shoulder, then resumed sketching.
"Listen, Parker, maybe you think I'm interested in him. I'm not. I've got a... thing, back in Starling," tried Felicity.
"As in, one party's cheating, or you're secretly in love?" asked Parker flatly.
"The second one."
"I figure you know of Barry's love for Iris, then?"
Felicity chuckled. "Takes one to know one. Although, I'm not so sure it's Iris anymore..."

"I figured out a way to track Captain Cold!" declared Cisco a couple hours later.
The eyes in the Cortex fell on his excited figure.
"You gotta stop naming these guys," said Caitlin.
Dr. Wells cleared his throat. "Barry."
Barry turned only his head to listen. His grudge against Cisco remained, even after the initial cooling off period on the treadmill.
"The cold gun is powered by an engine control unit. A microcomputer that regulates air to fuel ratios so the sub-cooled fluid in the chambers don't overflow and--"
"--explode!" Felicity finished.
"Right. This ECU was receiving updates wirelessly from my tablet. If I boost the signal using Central City's network, and send a false update, we'll get a ping back and--"
"--locate Snart," said Dr. Wells.
"How long will it take?" asked Barry.
"First I have to hack into the City's network, so maybe thirty minutes?" guessed Cisco.
"I can do it in less than one. When it comes to hacking, I'm the fastest woman alive," said Felicity. She rushed a computer, then interlocked her fingers and cracked them. She winced directly after.
"Cooler in your head?" wondered Parker.
"Entirely," said Felicity. She went quiet as her fingers clicked across the keyboard at a high speed pace. Exactly a minute later, she clapped her hands. "All right. I'm in."
"Are you kidding?" asked Caitlin.
"I'm sending the updates. We're connected," updated Cisco.
"He's heading West on Nelson towards the train station," said Caitlin.
"If he's leaving, it appears Mr. Snart may have gotten what we came for," said Dr. Wells.
Parker glanced at Barry. "You might wanna go."
He followed her directions and disappeared to slip into the Flash suit.
"When we put our minds to it, dude, nothing can stop us," said Cisco proudly.
Barry raised a hand and touched his earpiece lightly.
"Oh, uh, that was the earpiece. Why did you turn off the earpiece?" asked Cisco.
"I don't feel like talking right now," said Barry. Then, he ran to stop Leonard Snart, despite the protests against the earpiece.
Parker sighed. She stood. Grumbling, she pulled layers and layers of coats over her body. She shoved a hat over her head, then started to walk from the Cortex.
"Where are you going?" asked Cisco.
"I can't leave him alone," said Parker. "That idiot needs help whether he likes it or not."
"He turned the earpiece off for a reason," said Caitlin.
"If I had a nickel for every time the Arrow told me to back off, I'd be as rich as Oliver Queen..." said Felicity. She furrowed her eyebrows. "...who I mentioned, because he's the richest person I know."
"Smooth," snorted Parker.
Cisco grabbed her arm before she could leave. "I have something that might help,"

Difficulty was present upon trying to navigate through the burning debris of the crashed train cars. Narrowly avoiding the flames, Parker tiptoed across the soggy ground.
Whilst sneaking past another piece of debris, she had slipped on the ice. Not only did a cry of surprise come from her mouth, a cry of pain exited as well, after her hand slammed into a pile of burning embers.
Leonard Snart turned his gun from Barry to her.
"Hey there," panted Parker, cradling her hand to her chest. "How are you doing, Leonard? Can I call you that?"
Above her head, the barrel of a gun appeared. It was manned by Cisco. The tube connected to a piece being held in the arms of Caitlin and Felicity.
"Drop it," threatened Cisco. "This is a prototype cold gun. Four times the size, four times the power."
Snart glanced at Barry. "I was wondering who you were speaking to."
"Hey, unless you want a taste of your own medicine, back the hell up!" yelled Cisco.
"Your hands are shaking. You've never killed anyone."
"There's a first time for everything, Captain Cold."
Parker looked up at him. "Really?"
"I will shoot you," said Cisco, though no one was sure if it was meant towards Leanord Snart or Parker.
Snart's gun fell to his side. "You win, kid. See you around."
"You could leave the diamond," suggested Parker.
He came to a stop by her. His thumb ran across her cheek. Smirking, he said, "Don't push your luck, doll," then walked away.
"Sugar daddy much?" asked Parker with a slight shudder.
"Are you okay?" asked Barry, nudging his foot against hers.
"Fine. What about you?"
"A little cold."
She chuckled. "Of course."
"Couldn't shoot him if I wanted to," Cisco told Barry. "This is actually the S.T.A.R. Labs vacuum cleaner with a lot of LED's."
"Thank you," said Barry gratefully.
Felicity and Caitlin began using devices to melt the ice over Barry's abdomen.
Cisco helped Parker to her feet. He flattened her palm, then applied what was left of the snow around them to her hand.
"Look, I'm glad you're okay, that's real cool, but I should probably get to the hospital. This is turning into a fourth degree burn and I'm not trying to lose a limb," said Parker.
"I'll come with you," offered Barry.
"Barry, it's fine," assured Parker.
He didn't listen to her pleas. He broke free from the ice trapping him to the ground. He grabbed Parker.
A blink later, he set her down in front of the E.R. Barry remained a step behind her as she went to the waiting room. He begged her to come to S.T.A.R. Labs for immediate treatment. Well, that, and the fact that he wanted to talk with her.
"I'm getting medical treatment. Where I do it doesn't matter," she sighed.
Barry lunged for her hand. He stopped her. "Then, at the least, let me personally thank you for coming after me tonight."
"You were stupid. I came after you. It doesn't mean anything except me trying to ensure you don't die," said Parker.
"It means you don't officially hate me," disagreed Barry.
"Stop trying to see more into this, Barry. I'm asking you to quit this. Please."
"Okay, I hear you, but--"
"I'm not even asking you anymore!" shouted Parker. "I'm telling you, Barry Allen. Give me some space."
Barry stopped. He obeyed her wish. All he could do was stare after Parker as she walked from him, for what seemed like the billionth time in a row. To make her understand he was serious, he had no idea of what to do. He was at a loss.
So, he ran, to the only person who could help.

Felicity chuckled, reclining against the train seat. "What is wrong with us? We are perfectly perfect for each other."
"Yet we're both pining for people we can't have," sighed Barry.
"That's not true," said Felicity. She offered a smile. "Prove your loyalty to her. That's how you get her back. Oh, and, you know, don't break her heart again."
"Noted."
"Send me your Christmas card, yeah?"
"Yeah," smiled Barry. He leaned forward. "Look, Felicity, if you ever need anything, I will race over in a heartbeat."
Felicity leaned towards him, too. "Same. Well, as fast as I can run, which may take me a while, but I will still come."
Then, they kissed. It was an attempt, seeing how the other felt-- if they felt anything. But there was nothing. No spark, no fireworks.
"Bye, Felicity," whispered Barry.
And he ran away.
