Crazy For You

Parker was a half step in front of Barry and Joe, eager to see the damage done to Dr.Wells' house.

"Park, slow down! You need me to get in, remember that," Joe called after her.

Parker bounced in an awkward jog, turning sideways to look back at Joe. "I know the man-- how much do you want to bet he'll just let me in?"

"Not very much."

Parker turned back to the house. Immediately, her shoes scraped against the pavement, mesmerized by the gorgeous house in front of her eyes.

Barry's hand lightly pressed on her back, guiding her along, as her eyes stayed savoring every inch of the house.

"How could someone vandalize this beauty?" Parker whispered in disbelief.

As the trio approached (what they hoped was) the front door, it opened on its own, revealing an unharmed Dr.Wells.

Parker looked straight past him.

The inside was almost empty. There was furniture, paintings and sculptures; everything to make a house pretty, but not enough to make it scream 'This is Dr.Wells' house.'

"Look, Joe, I apologize about this. It feels like so much for so little. The police should have never been called," Dr.Wells insisted.

Parker narrowed her eyes at his retreating chair. Why? Because you have something to hide?

"I got a prank call, just before it happened," Dr.Wells explained.

The trio followed behind his chair as he led them into the house.

Joe and Barry looked for clues, as expected to do.

Parker looked in admiration, and also for more information on her own investigation.

They stopped at the portion of the first floor where the glass ceiling above had shattered. Fragments of the ceiling were staining the tile.

"Seems like more than just a prank, Doc.." Joe muttered.

"There are some people who believe I have not suffered enough for the accident last year, and some of them tend to act on it."

Parker, Joe and Barry leaned around the corner upon hearing the click of high heels.

Caitlin and Cisco were rushing through the front door. Cisco caught sight of the huddled trio and brought Caitlin over.

"Dr.Wells, are you alright?" Caitlin hurriedly asked.

"Dr.Snow, I'm alright-- a little chilly. Hello, Cisco. Make yourselves at home best you can. I'm going to make a hotel reservation," Dr.Wells said, driving away from the group.

Not surprisingly, Cisco was just as amazed as Parker by the house. "Yo, this place is so sick.."

"What took you guys so long?" Barry wondered.

"We got lost," Cisco admitted, his face flushing.

"We've never been here before," Caitlin said with a sigh. "He tends to keep his private life private."

Parker counted that day as a 'work day' on her two cases.

Dr.Wells had ordered the team back to S.T.A.R. Labs at four p.m. on the dot, saying he had some information about the person he believed to commit the crime.

With an hour to go, Parker sat at a table at Jitters on the second floor, her laptop opened.

To continue her research, she knew it would had to be completed on her own computer. It would be plain stupid to use a S.T.A.R Labs computer to research her boss.

She found a link to his autobiography-- something she most definitely didn't want to read-- numerous articles bashing on him for letting the Accelerator explode, and other irrelevant things.

It took only twenty minutes of internet search before she figured that the information she wanted was only obtainable from Dr.Wells himself.

Since she was not asking him what his intentions were, she only had one other option: tell somebody.

Oliver, her first go-to person from his own suspicion, was.. M.I.A.

That left one person she could tell her theory to; the last person who she believed would give her thought a chance.

Parker picked up her phone to call him. As soon as she scooped her hand under her phone, it began to buzz.

"Cisco, hey," Parker answered.

"Rathaway Industries is under attack. Caitlin's calling Barry now."

"I'll be there as fast as I can," Parker said.

With her laptop bundled in her arms, Parker raced outside.

The cold gush of air made her huff but she powered through it, hopping up and down to keep herself warm while she waved her hand for a cab.

One moment she was waving her hand and the other, she was scooped up by Barry Allen.

Parker almost choked on her gum, trying to breathe and chew at the same time.

Barry didn't take long to drop her in the Cortex and leave.

Parker's hands shot out to keep her balance, slamming her eyes shut.

he hated that most when Barry would run her places-- the slight case of motion sickness, or that feeling when one stands up too fast.

Cisco hadn't experienced the feeling, but he had heard of it from Parker.

He sat her in a chair, moving her to the desk to watch the interaction between whoever was attacking Rathaway Industries and Barry.

"Are we postponing the talk?" Parker asked.

"We kind of had it already," Caitlin mumbled.

Parker huffed. "Thanks."

The traffic cameras were running, although Rathaway Industries was not in any of the nearby camera frames.

Parker glanced at another screen for the map of the city. The little red dot on another screen --Barry's dot-- moved through the streets and finally came to a halt, the earpiece filling in the gap.

"It's over, Rathaway."

"You know my name. I know some names, too. Caitlin Snow. Cisco Ramon. Harrison Wells."

Parker raised her eyebrow. It was clear by the looks on their faces that they knew that voice.

Parker kept quiet. None of them seemed to look in the mood to answer her inquires.

"I can hear the radio waves emanating from your suit, it's about nineteen hundred megahertz. Is that them on the other end listening? Are they going to hear you die?"

"No, they're going to hear you get your ass kicked."

A series of grunts and then a glass shattering noise filled the speaker.

"Sounds like someone's getting an ass kicking. Not sure it's Hartley," Parker pointed out sarcastically.

"He doesn't know you're here," he mouthed, punching Parker's arm.

Parker understood there might have been a chance she could have used Hartley's cluelessness about her to her advantage, but he was going into the prison anyway. There would be no need to outsmart him.

(Clearly, she underestimated him. For your knowledge, she attended every scheduled briefing of a meta-human an hour early from that experience forward.)

"Looks like you're not as smart as everyone says," Barry said a couple minutes later.

"Smart enough to figure out who Harrison Wells really is. You see, I know his secret."

Parker's eyes only narrowed. She had a slight smirk on her face; pure satisfaction.

Another bullet point on the list against Harrison Wells was added.

>>>>>>

"I guess we're finally going after your bully," Parker tried to joke with Cisco.

However, as Barry was when he faced Tony, Cisco was not in a mood to joke.

Parker thought putting him in their little makeshift prison probably washed away any trauma Hartley caused to Cisco, and at the same time, fill him with immense joy.

Those thoughts alone were making Parker smile, although the circumstances weren't the most ideal to be smiling in.

Barry held Hartley's bicep with a tight grip. He led him out of the elevator to the awaiting eyes of the remaining S.T.A.R Labs employees.

When the elevator doors slid open, Hartley's only expression was boredom.

"You know, being scooped up by a man clad head-to-toe in leather is a long time dream of mine, so, thanks."

It's actually reinforced tripolymer but okay, leather works.

Hartley made a sweep of the room. The smirk grew as his eyes landed on Cisco.

"Well, well, well, the gang's all here. You lasted a lot longer than I thought you would, Cisco."

"And you didn't last ten seconds against the Flash," Cisco smugly pointed out.

"I was actually thinking of calling myself the Pied Piper."

Cisco looked incredibly offended. "Hey, I assign the nicknames around here."

"Okay, but that ones not that bad," Parker admitted.

"Ooh," Hartley chuckled. "So this is the girl the other voice belonged to. What's your name?"

"None of your business," Barry snarled.

Parker shot Barry a look that could have been ranked with Oliver Queen's bitch face. Another strike was made for number of times Barry was too defensive for her.

"Caitlin," Hartley greeted with a fake smile. "Never did get that wedding invite."

Parker's mouth dropped. Half due to pure shock, and also because of what a good burn that was.

"Shut the hell up!" Cisco snapped.

Cisco and Caitlin took Hartley down to the Accelerator ring together.

Barry laced his fingers through Parkers and tugged her along to the Cortex.

As they walked in, Dr.Wells wheeled out.

"Long time since I've seen Hartley. I think it's time we meet face-to-face once again, don't you think?" Dr.Wells had explained to the two curious workers.

Parker's eyes scanned across the multiple security cameras in the Accelerator, finding the one monitoring Hartley's cell.

Parker held down to keys on the keyboard, turning on the sound.

"--Wells' idea, I'm sure," Hartley was saying.

"Mine, actually." Cisco said.

"Poco Cisco, sigue pidiendo la aprobación de su amo."

Barry and Parker were quickly understanding how painful it must have been to work with a show-off every single day.

"Si eres tan inteligente, entonces ¿por qué estás en una jaula," Cisco said, his tone awfully smug.

"Hartley, don't make this more difficult than it has to be," Caitlin cut in.

Hartley only decided to bring Caitlin in on the fun of a different language. "J'ai oublié. Vous ne aimez pas les émotions. Ils sont salissants."

Barry sighed louder this time. His hands ran through his silky hair in frustration.

"'I forgot,'" Parker slowly said. Her eyes were scrunched close; her finger tapping through the air while she tried to translate, "'You don't like emotions. They're messy.'"

Barry closed his mouth from the slight shock. He never knew Parker could speak French. He thought it was surprisingly sexy how fluently she spoke it.

"I took French in High School.. It finally paid off, " she chuckled.

"I wish I had taken a language in high school," Barry grumbled.

"I learned the language of love."

Parker was conviently standing with her back to him.

Barry placed his hands on her hips, dipping his head to sit upon her shoulder.

"You'll have to teach me."

Parker spun in his arms and pushed herself onto her toes, pressing her lips onto the skin under his jaw. Her fingers gripped the collar of his suit. She looked up through her eyelashes.

"I don't know, Flash. I think I may know another type of love you might be more interested in," she said it slowly, pronouncing every single world, leaving him itching for the next thing to come out of her lips.

Her lips lightly pecked under his jaw. She sprinkled kisses along his jawline, kissed all the way up to his chin and was interrupted before he could catch her lips.

"That was for you, Flash., Hartley stated, forcing Barry and Parker to separate.

"It feels great to have the amazing Harrison Wells behind you, doesn't it? But one day, this man will turn on you. In a flash.. And even you won't see it coming. I only hope he leaves you in a better position than me. If you're lucky, you'll be dead."
