Best Part: Pizza
A little over a week passed. Current day for Parker meant a scheduled group meeting at the West house.
Sensitive to conserving gas, Parker decided to carpool with Cisco.
She clicked through the security cameras of S.T.A.R. Labs to find him. When she did, another person was in the meta prison with him. Parker grabbed her purse and ran down there.
"Is that a Disney Prince?" she asked, rounding the corner.
"Hello, Parker," Ray Palmer said. "Long time no see."
Parker glanced at the person glaring at them from inside a prison cell. She raised an eyebrow. "And who have you brought?"
"Jake Simmons, also known as, Deathbolt. His cell is equipped with an electromagnetic field that breaks molecular bonds of plasma into liquid," Cisco explained excitedly.
"Yeah, whatever you say. Why is he here?"
"He left Central City and came to Starling," Ray said. "Except we don't know that he's a meta-human."
"What makes you say that?"
"His powers were present before the Accelerator Explosion."
>>>>>
Parker had enough mystery to focus on. She added the mystery of Deathbolt's power to the list of things to take care of after Harrison Wells was dealt with.
Once Ray Palmer grabbed the Atom suit and left, Parker and Cisco stole a S.T.A.R. Labs van and took off to the West house.
When walking in, there was a chime of 'Hello's, but one specific voice was missing.
"Where's my Allen?" Parker asked.
Joe laughed, returning Parker's greeting hug. "Hello to you too, Park. He should be back and second. I sent him out for pizza from-"
"Coast City!" Barry finished, speeding in. He dropped two boxes of pizza on the coffee table and stood tall, beaming.
"Whaaat?" Cisco said. He rushed to grab a piece of pizza.
"Why did I never think of that?" Parker mumbled to herself. She took a piece and wrapped one arm around Barry's neck, kissing his lips. "Thank you, my hero."
Barry pulled away just enough to speak without his lips hitting hers. "My pleasure."
"Relationship goals," Cisco sang, his hand over his heart.
Parker and Barry plopped down on the armchair beside the fireplace, creating a makeshift circle for their meeting.
Cisco, Caitlin, Barry, Joe, Eddie and Parker glanced around, waiting for someone to speak.
Unsurprisingly, Parker stood up, bringing wandering eyes to her.
"Okay, six months of investigating Harrison Wells and/or the Reverse-Flash has led us nowhere," she began.
"Cisco and I have decided to take a different approach and start at the very beginning," Joe continued.
"Meaning?"
"Road trip, baby," Cisco gleefully shouted. He clicked his beer against Joe's. "Joe and I are heading to Starling City."
"What happened in Starling that involved Wells?"
"A car accident that Wells was in with Tess Morgan fifteen years ago."
Parker snapped her fingers in remembrance. "Yes, because Dr.McGee told Barry that Wells seemed like a changed man after he lost Tess."
"Because the love of his life died?" Caitlin said in an obvious tone. "Grief can change a person.."
"Caitlin, we truly think that Dr.Wells is the Reverse-Flash, and that he killed Barry's mom. He may have done the same to Tess Morgan," Joe quickly interrupted, keeping Parker from snapping at Caitlin.
"We have to investigate everything- see where it leads us," Barry tried.
"And would you mind covering for me?" Cisco asked Caitlin, clarifying. "With Dr.Wells?"
"You mean, lie?" Caitlin asked.
"Duh," Parker grumbled.
"I need some air."
Parker rolled her eyes, meeting Barry's. "You talk to her, make sure she doesn't do anything stupid."
"What do you want us to do in the meantime?" Eddie wondered.
"Stay normal," Joe insisted.
"Keep the ship sailing on, my friend," Parker said, patting Eddie's shoulder.
Eddie snapped his head to Parker, his eyes filled with hope, hers with curiosity about the reaction. "We're friends?" Eddie gasped.
"Don't push it."

With Cisco on leave, Parker and Caitlin had no interaction besides sharing a polite greeting.
The girls were by themselves for most of the morning, no unnecessary talking happened.
Caitlin stayed sitting in the computer desk. Parker was sprawled across the hospital bed, phone in the air, scrolling through social media.
"Hi, guys.."
Parker tilted her head back and found Barry Allen shuffling into the Cortex.
"Hey, babe!" Parker shouted, showing a toothy smile. Her mission succeeded-awkward Barry Allen disappeared when he saw her grin.
"Can we talk about last night?" Barry asked Caitlin.
"There's nothing to talk about," Caitlin said, avoiding eye contact with Barry.
Making herself seem more opposed to talking about it, she stood and moved across the Cortex to get away.
Parker noticed and scoffed. "Obviously there is."
"Park, please," Barry mumbled, pressing his hand on her head as he passed. Grudgingly, Parker stayed quiet and watched Barry try to reach out to Caitlin. "Look, Caitlin, I know that with everything Wells has done for us, it's really hard to wrap your head around the truth-"
"The truth is that he saved your life," Caitlin snapped. With a second thought, she added, "Multiple times."
"I know, but if I'm right about this-"
"If, Barry, if! And before I believe any of this, I'm gonna need to see some proof!"
Parker tore her eyes away from the duo when she heard a familiar whirring. The best way to alert Barry and Caitlin was to be extremely happy. She decided to make it up as she went and shouted, "Hi, Dr. Wells!"
Barry and Caitlin spun around in sync, different faces of fright showing. Perfectly, their faces went normal as Dr.Wells came into their view.
Beautiful little actors.. I've taught them well.
"You're very excited today, Parker, that's nice to see. Proof? Proof of what?"
"Another meta-human case. Or, a possible one, it might be cool," Parker smoothly covered.
"Well, we're always happy to help, Barry, as you know. Has anyone heard from Cisco?"
"He's with Dante. Might need a few days off," Caitlin said.
Behind Dr.Wells, Parker threw her fist in the air. Caitlin lied for Cisco, meaning she was in on their secret, even if she wasn't fully endorsing it.
Parker's cell phone rang. Seeing the caller ID show up as Eddie Thawne, she thought for a moment about if she truly wanted to answer. She sighed and clicked the green button.
"Hi, best friend," Eddie answered.
Parker cringed. "Pushing it. Why have you called?"
"I need the Flash. Guy down at the Jewelers tried to sell stolen jewels, and I think he noticed me."
"I'll tell him," Parker said, ending the call. "Mr.Allen, Eddie Thawne has requested you at the Jewelers."
"You aren't needed?"
"Only if you don't catch him. Remember his face, keep it fresh in your head. But you'll probably catch him anyway."
>>>
Parker hadn't predicted it, but very coincidentally, Barry didn't catch the meta-human. The meta of the week was a shapeshifter.
Barry made a very awkward demonstration that resembled a butterfly crawling from a cocoon. "I literally saw a grown man morph into a teenage girl."
"Told you the meta-human case was cool," Parker said to Dr.Wells.
In her head, she thought about how incidental her prediction was. For a minute she thought the Particle Accelerator Explosion finally affected her and turned her into a fortune teller. (Obviously, she was wrong.)
"Yes, it is quite fascinating. Today's physicists regarded programmable matter as a theory, but I guess your shapeshifter proves it can be done," Dr.Wells said.
"So, he or she-- it, or this person, can transform into whatever it touches?" Barry asked.
Parker rolled her eyes. "Obviously, if you saw it happen."
"That includes you," Caitlin pointed out.
"Yeah, actually, good point. He might expose your secret identity," Parker said, raising her eyebrows.
"Or replicate your speed."
"That would be bad."
Barry rubbed his forehead, then raised his hands. "Okay. Hands off the meta-human.."
"So, how do we catch someone who can change into anyone?"
Parker internally growled, her hatred for that question growing. She sighed and rested her arms on the edge of the desk, peering over the computer.
"Just go back to the beginning. In this case, find the first person the shapeshifter changed into."
"Can you pull up the CCPD records and find a case where the perpetrator denied doing the crime, although they were caught on camera?" Barry wondered.
"You're good, Barry Allen."
"Multiple crimes fit the description, every single one dating back to a month after the Accelerator Explosion," Parker slowly recited, reading upside down.
"And the first one was?"
"Jacob Fisher, a teller at the Federal Credit Union, claimed he was innocent and framed by his best friend, a Hannibal Bates."
Parker crept up behind Barry and ticked his neck creepily, whispering, "Eat your heart out with some fava beans and a nice chianti."
"I understood that reference," Cisco said, clapping. He had been called over Skype.
"And I understand that reference," Parker countered.
Everybody else looked at the two with complete confusion. Cisco and Parker grinned, saw their looks, and their smiles vanished awkwardly.
"I'll pass this along to the CCPD, see if they can find him," Barry decided. "And Parker, I'll see you at my house by midnight."
"Cuddle session?"
"Cuddle session."
>>>>
Caitlin had lied for them, so technically, she was on the good side, but it wasn't an official statement yet.
To be precautious, before Caitlin and Dr.Wells left, Parker shoved a tracker into Caitlin's coat pocket. She didn't trust her completely— for good reasoning.
Parker was triumphant when the signal for Caitlin's tracker beeped on her phone, signalling Caitlin was leaving her house.
Okay, so, yes, maybe it was a little creepy. But whether they thought it or not, Dr.Wells finding out about their suspicion was a life or death scenario. In a way, they were keeping Caitlin safe. (Man, saying that gets old..)
Parker called Barry's cell. Very urgently, she spit out, "Allen, get to Wells' house, now."
"Why?"
"Don't ask me questions. Get off your ass!" Parker said. Her hand slapped against her forehead, amazed at how oblivious he could be to her tone of voice.
Barry agreed, smart enough to sense Parker's rising anger. Parker resumed her research on the S.T.A.R. Labs computer.
Previously, while searching for criminal activity, Parker came across an article about the Arrow.
It wasn't reporting criminals he had caught— no, it was about the Arrow's secret identity. Parker pulled up the article and started to read.
As most of Starling City and the world is aware, we have a special individual in our city. Whether you believe he's a hero, or a criminal himself, I can assure you one fact. The Arrow of Starling City has had his hood pried off. Finally, the world knows who the hooded vigilante is: Oliver Queen.
"What the.."
Parker stopped, interrupted by her cell phone ringing. Continuing to read the article carefully, Parker answered.
"Hey, Eddie and I located Bates, he's getting away," Barry said quickly.
"Barry Allen, do not use your speed or let him touch you."
"Then how am I supposed to catch him?"
"The old fashioned way, my love. Do your normal dorky run that is agonizing to watch."
"At least I don't run like a gazelle."
"I'm an incredibly graceful gazelle, thank you very much."
