Kirishima's POV:

"Did that really happen Kiri?! No way! You gotta tell me about it!" Mina exclaims.

"Yeah, Bakubro was pissed and he decked me. It really hurt honestly, but I mean it was valid."

"Why did he punch you? Your a likeable guy, I don't understand I thought you were friends?" She asks, puzzled

"We are! It's because we're friends that he hit me if that makes sense. See I made a promise I couldn't keep, like a big promise. The kind that if you don't keep you could get killed. Well I couldn't keep it, and he was upset. See I promised him I would come back safely, but I captured by the Shie Hassaikai... so I couldn't keep my promise." I explain, she nods in understanding

"I can totally see that for him." I laugh

"Yeah he really is something." I sigh, looking back towards the kitchen, only to find he's not there. Mina notices

"Oh my god! No way!!! You-" I jump to immediately shush her.

"Shhhh! Please not so loud!" I beg,

"You like himmmmm~" she whispers, I sigh again,

"Yeah, yeah I do..." I admit softly

"Well don't look so gloomy, tell me the scoop. I live for this kind of stuff, you gotta tell me everything!" She exclaims

"Maybe later, I'm not really in the mood to talk about it." I mutter

"Ok fine, later then. I'm always available to talk about this, don't worry! Mama Mina is always here for you." She comforts, I smile

"Ok now that breakfast is over, why don't you head back to Tetsu. He can show you around for the rest of the day. I've got someone to talk too." I instruct, she grins

"Is it your pretty blondieeeeee?~" she teases,

"No, it's my friend Sero. Now get going before Tetsu comes for you." I laugh

"Ok ok geez!" She flies off the table and off towards our tree hut. I turn and head in the direction of Sero's tank. Shifting into my smaller self, I zip through the halls and courtyards until I make it into the aquarium zone.

"KIRISHIMA!! DUDE I HAVEN SEEN YOU IN A WHILE! HOWS IT BEEN MY GUY?!" Kami shouts to me, I smile

"Pretty good, I mean I was captured. But they rescued me pretty quick so I'm fine. Plus we got some new recruits! So it's a win-win. How've you guys been?" I shoot back,

"We've been pretty good so far, it's nice to have company. And how come we didn't know about you getting captured?! Why weren't we notified." I shrug

"I mean it was only four days? And they had a plan from the beginning so I guess they didn't deem it important enough to notify everyone on what happened." I justify, Sero scoffs

"I still think I should have been told what happened." He pouts, Kami and I laugh. Sero's face goes serious, "Kirishima, what's wrong?" He asks

"What? I'm not sure what you're talking about?" Why does he ask that?

"Bro, I know when you're not feeling like yourself. Come one, you can talk to me."

"Yeah dude, I don't know you what we'll but it kinda looks like somethings bothering you. I can leave if you want, I know we're not that close or anything-"

"No!" Sero and I say in unison,

"No Kami, it's fine if your here. I trust you, I'm just not sure how to explain this. It's kinda complicated..." I trail off

"Don't rush yourself, we've got all day bud." Sero reminds, I nod

"I just... I guess I realized something about myself, something that I'm not sure how to deal with. I'm sorry for being vague but right now I don't know how I should go about explaining." Kami looks confused, but Sero seems to understand,

"Bro, don't tell me you-" I sigh, it's pretty obvious I guess.

"Yup, you got it." I say sarcastically,

"Y'all I'm super confused, what Kiri? What's going on?" I laugh to myself

"I might have feelings for Bakugou." I admit, Kaminari's jaw drops

"Huh?! Wait- Bakugou? Like our Bakugou? The angry one? That Bakugou?" Kami asks,

"Yep. That Bakugou." I deadpan,

"I- I mean I'm not surprised. He seems like your type." Sero says

"Wait really? He's your type? Huh, I mean he is uber pretty." You aren't kidding

"Yeah yeah you say that like I haven't told myself these same things. I'm just... scared I guess. Ugh this is super unmanly of me, I'll just go-" Sero cuts me off

"Now wait just a moment. You can share, you're not a bother and we are here for you. You can share without any fear of judgment. There's nothing to worry about. Deep breath. Inhale, exhale. Ok, feel better?"

"Yeah, I do. I'm just scared that these feelings are going to make me do something stupid like confess, I can't loose his friendship. I- I wasn't even sure he considered me his friend until recently. I refuse to ruin this friendship, not again."

"I know, I know Kiri. Believe me." Sero comforts again

"It's just I refuse to let the past repeat itself, I won't let it."

"Man, idk what happened, but come here." Kami says, opening his arms. I shift back into normal size and hug him. "I'm not sure what your going through, but you need a hug bro. It's ok. You just want to be careful, and I understand." Kami whispers. I feel two more arms wrap around me from behind.

"It's ok man, I get it. More than you think. Every time I meet someone new, I promise I won't let what happened in the past happened to them. It's understandable man. Don't sweat it. Just remember we are here if you need to talk ok?" Sero asks,

"Yeah, I will."

"Ok ok wait. Why am I the only one confused at this whole 'not letting the past repeat itself'? Did I miss something?" Kami asks, his face drawn up in confusion. Me and Sero both laugh, "Guys! This isn't funny I don't get it." We laugh harder,

"Ok guys, thank you for this. Really. But I gotta go, I'll talk to you later." I shrink and fly off,

"Seeya Kiri." Kami calls. I fly back to my bed and flop down, granted it's too early to sleep, but sleeping wasn't my plan anyway. I still don't know if these feelings are real, or just my brain jumping the gun a little bit. I'm not going to say anything,

At least, not until I'm 100% sure of my feelings, then maybe I'll consider it.

But I don't want to loose him,

I refuse to loose someone else because of my dumb feelings.
