Kirishima's POV:

"Aye bro, you told me to wake you up early, this is early." Tetsu grumbles, shoving me off the bed. Groaning I make my way to my feet.

"Yanno, when I asked you to wake me up, I was expecting something a little gentler. Like maybe a nudge or something?" He laughs

"You think I didn't try that? You don't seem to realize this but you sleep like a rock." I snort

"Yeah yeah whatever dude, I gotta go. Bakugou's probably awake right now and I don't wanna keep him waiting." I say, opening my wings and taking off,

"Hey, see if you can swing by and introduce me to that boyfriend of yours eh Kiri?" Tetsu shouts after me, my wings stutter and I fall for a moment. My face flares up as I turn towards him

"He's not- we're not- that's- no no no it's not like that-" no Tetsu why would you say thaaaaaaaaaat! You know I'm a disaster gay. He just laughs

"Get going dork." I nod, attempting to control my facial color. I zip my way towards the aquatic areas. There I notice a scowling blonde. Tail flicking impatiently,

"Hey man! Sorry I'm late, I just woke up." I reach back to rub the back of my neck,

"Yeah I can tell, your hair is down." He snorts, I reach up to run my fingers through my hair. Lo and behold it's flat against my head and hanging down around my face. Shit my hair, when it's down you can see my antennae

"Oh my god I totally forgot, um well I'm going to go back and fix it-"

"Just leave it, it's fine. Less shitty in fact. I'm hungry, are we going to go eat or am I going to listen to you fuss about your hair?" He... likes my hair down?

"O-oh ok! Well give me 2 minutes tops and I'll grab you a tank so I can show you around." I suggest, growing and walking over to the rolling tanks. I pick one and start rolling it over to him, he growls, before launching himself up and landing in the tank with a splash. Wow that was super manly and cool. He looks back at me with an unimpressed glare

"Close your damn mouth shitty hair and take me to breakfast." Oh god I was staring, snap out of it Eijiro

"Oh. Right. Let's go!" I say steering him towards the dining hall.

"Let's go faster! Come on shitty hair if I'm gonna be stuck in this tank ya might as well make it somewhat interesting." He smirks, I grin back.

"Are you sure?" I double check, adding a bit of a lit to my voice

"Bring it on red!" With that, I race forward, pushing the tank in front of me as we book it through the halls towards breakfast. "HELLLL YEAAAAHHHH!" Bakugou shouts, allowing the rush to get to his head. After a quick turn we reach the hall, and I slow us down some.

"There..." I huff "we made it..."

"Of course we did shitty hair, you really think I'd let myself die in a cage?"

"It's not a cage, it's a tank, and you can go anywhere with it."

"Whatever I'm starving, is there anything good to eat here or what?"

"Well yeah. They've got all kinds of foods here, I wouldn't be surprised if they had something you like." I wheel him over to pick up a plate and I grab one for myself. I lead him over to a table where Momo and Kendo are chatting quietly, tails flicking back and forth. Perfect. I steer Bakugou over in their direction and wave. They both turn to me and smile, waving back

"Good morning Kirishima, it's nice to see you up early." Momo greets

"Yeah man, I'm honestly surprised you're up already. Tetsu's always complaining about how hard you are to wake up in the mornings. Anyway, who's that with you? He new here?" Kendo asks, I smile sheepishly

"Aha yeah, I'm a heavy sleeper. But this is Bakugou, I found him and his friends three days ago when I was scouting. I'm just showing him around and introducing him to everyone." I explain, he scowls

"They're not my friends, they just showed up in my life and I decided not to leave their dumbasses. Don't make me explain it again."

"Yeah yeah whatever, if they aren't your friends does that mean I'm your first friend?" I asks cheekily

"Whatever shit hair." He turns away, he didn't deny it

"Well it's nice to meet you Bakugou." Momo says, looking somewhat apprehensive. Can't really blame her though

"Whatever ponytail" ponytail? What's with these nicknames? Kendo turns towards Bakugou

"Yeah dude nice to meet you, and I'm sorry you had to deal with Monoma yesterday, he got away from me. Usually I stop him from pissing people off, he deserved that hit you gave him." Kendo apologizes, and Bakugou turns towards her

"It's fine, he needed to be put in his place anyway." Kendo laughs at this

"Oh you're funny, we should get along just fine. I'm off though, Shiozaki wanted my help for something. Also Kiri, Tetsu wanted to see you after breakfast. Catch ya later!" She stands up and walks away, waving before she goes.

"See you Kendo" I call after her, and Momo stands up too,

"I should really get going too, I'll see you both later." And she too walks away. I turn to Bakugou

"So, not so bad right?"

"Eh whatever. The ginger wasn't that bad, I doubt I'm going to get along well with ponytail though."

"Well, you can't befriend everyone. But I told you man. The people here are pretty kind."

"Tch"

"Oh hey Kirishima!" A voice draws my attention, I turn towards the cheerful voice

"Oh hey Midoriya, I'm just showing my new friend here around. Why don't you come and meet him?" I offer

"Sure thing!" He makes his way over to us, and Bakugou immediately leaps up

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE DEKU?!" He shouts, deku?

"Oh- kacchan? I had no idea you were here?! How-?" Kacchan? These two know each other? And have nicknames? Were they lovers? Damn it Eijiro now is not the time to be thinking about a potential friends love life,

"I found him and some others. Bought em back. You know him?" I ask

"Bastard wouldn't leave me alone, followed me for years before he disappeared." So not lovers? Friends?

"Um yeah, I stuck with him because he's the only person I knew. It wasn't really safe. At one point I got lost and couldn't find my way back to the river, then Iida found me." He explains, ah, so a strength in numbers situation, got it. Doesn't explain the nicknames though. I'll ask about it later

"Whatever, just don't bother me." Bakugou says, turning towards me "Didn't that ginger girl say something about a Tetsu extra wanting to talk to you?" Right he did want to see me,

"Yeah he did, sorry Midoriya but family calls."

"Oh don't worry about it, it's nice to see you again kacchan." I wave and turn to push Bakugou towards me and Tetsu's main residence.

"Come on shitty hair, I thought you were manly or something, this is slower than a Dunce-face's brain." He. Did. Not. Just say that. He smirks. I begin to pick up my pace. With Bakugou laughing maniacally, and the tank skidding down the halls, it's a miracle the whole castle isn't awake right now. We start picking up speed till we see Tetsu. He obviously hears us coming, and turns. Then grins

"Hey bro, this the new mer you talked about?" Bakugou turns to me

"Why the hell were you talking about me?!" I shudder

"Dude can you blame me, it was the first time I found anybody. I was excited ok?" I defend. "Yep, this is him Tetsu!"

"Pretty isn't he." He smirks at me, I flush heavily. No no no god why!

"Hey who the hell do you think you are? Talking about me like I'm not here, fuckin extra." He shouts, leaning forward to get into Tetsu's face.

"Oh sorry dude, my bad." Bakugou grumbles a bit but doesn't speak further.

"Anyways, Tetsu, this is Bakugou, Bakugou, this is my brother Tetsu."

"You both have shitty hair"

"What the hell dude, that's so not cool of you." Tetsu barks. Oh shit

"Yeah so I'm gonna take him somewhere to chill out for a bit, be back later bro"

"All right." And we're off again, I quickly lead Bakugou to another room, with nobody there.

"Dude, you have got to try to be nicer to people." I say

"Why should I, I'm not gonna change who I am just because someone else isn't comfortable with it, if they hate me so much they can ignore me can't they?" I'm trying to make a point here but you're not wrong.

"Damn that's manly, but come on. At least try to not insult everyone you meet?" He curses

"Fine shitty hair, but if this ends out poorly I'm not going to filter myself for others anymore." I smile, showcasing all my pointy teeth "and there you go with that shitty smile, are you sure those teeth are legal?"

"Dude I already told you, I'm pretty sure it's a pixie thing."

"Yeah well not all pixies can grow between sizes like that so care to explain?" He counters, I sigh. He was gonna find out somehow

"Ok fine, I'm only half pixie, but I only knew my mother so I had no idea I had wings for most of my life. After she died, we got to read the letters written to us from our father, in the case of her death. She was paralyzed, and every year during the cold season her lungs would fill up with fluid. I knew it was coming, we all did. When we found out we were scared. Some people in town found out about us and it wasn't safe for us anymore. Our home had a magical creature law, and anyone who disagreed was murdered. Aizawa showed up in our town and took us away, apparently he knew what we were. Saved our lives." I explain, he looks shocked

"I- didn't know." I grin at him

"Dude, don't sweat it, it's fine man, plus it's in the past." The past has no control over my future anymore

"So what does Aizawa get from all this anyway, he doesn't seem like the person to do this because he cares. What's his deal anyway?" He asks, I take a deep breath. Oh boy

"Aizawa is a part of an organization that protects us from the regular world. They keep us safe while also rescuing and recruiting other humans to keep the secret. People like him keep us out of places like the All For One Emporium or the Shie Hassaikai Emporium. This isn't the only place for us, there are a total of four refuges like this. Ours is called Ground Beta, there's Ground Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Epsilon. They decided it was too dangerous to have too many of us in one place. That way if one is discovered, the rest of us are safe and can rescue them if needed." I explain

"I'd like to see some shitty hunter extra try and capture me, I'll kick their ass!" Damn this guy is so manly

"That's super manly dude, I wish I was that brave."

"I'm sure you are shitty hair, now come on, I want to know the whole castle layout by the end of the day." If only you knew

"Sure thing Bakubro!"

"Stop calling me that!!"
