Silentkit remained silent. She earned her name, honestly. Silverkit and Echokit were too loud. Russetkit and Shadowkit were awfully loud too. Dovekit, Goldenkit and Rainkit were loud. Although, Dovekit couldn't be more sassy and annoying. She rested against her mother. I love it here. She thought." When is our ceremony?" Russetkit and Shadowkit were only a moon older than them." Soon. You are six—" Stormstar's, her father,'s voice rang across the Clan." All cats who are old enough to catch their own prey, gather here, under the Oak Tree!" He yowled. 

Silentkit was urged to see." How dare he interrupt me." Ravenfur muttered." Let me clean you!" Ravenfur snapped at her kits." Mom!" Shadowkit snarled." Do you want me to clean you on your warrior ceremony?" She demanded." No..." Shadowkit meowed." Here." She quickly groomed both of them." We have two new apprentices!" He called." Neatly groomed." He snickered. Ravenfur's fur rose a bit, but then flattened." I, Stormstar, call upon StarClan to watch these apprentices, and hope their mentors pass down everything they know to them." He shook his head." Awww!" Echokit and Silverkit stormed off. It's so boring here. If only I could sneak out. She thought. Even though, just a second ago, she loved it here. A hawk would take me. " Yes! Let's take down Silentstar!" Echokit yowled. Silentkit hit Echokit across the face and jumped on Silverkit, hitting her repeatedly with her paw." Hey! That's rude!" Silverkit gasped. Silentkit got off. Silentkit patrolled the camp, as usual." The Elder's Den! That's a fun place!" She giggled to herself and dashed in there." Oh, Silentkit!" Russethiss smiled. Monarchtuft purred at Silentkit." What are you here for?" She asked." Stories! I'm bored." Silentkit purred." Well, when I was your age, I used to fight in battles that evaded the camp. And I was only five! Can you believe that? Anyways, I made it to the best fighter. I was deputy, but then I got too old and was forced to retire. So, anyways, have I told you about the badger fight? From this day forward until you earn your warrior name, your shall be known as Silentpaw. Your mentor will be Amberdash." She eagerly touched noses with Amberdash." Silentpaw! Silentpaw!" The Clan cheered." Dovekit." He nodded to her." Until you get your warrior name, your name from this day forward will be Dovepaw. Your mentor will be Willowtail." He echoed." Dovepaw! Dovepaw!" The Clan cheered." I heard that Willowtail is the best hunter." Dovepaw cooed.

" Rainkit, step up. From this day forward until you earn your warrior name, you will be Rainpaw! Your mentor will be Moonsky." He bellowed." Rainpaw! Rainpaw!" The Clan yowled." Goldenkit. From this day forward until you earn your warrior name, you will be Goldenpaw." He meowed." Goldenpaw! Goldenpaw!" The Clan chanted. On their way to the gathering, Silentpaw was clueless where to go. At the gathering, she was excited. It was Whitestar who went first," DuskClan has never been better. Prey is excellent, water is good, and we have two new apprentices! Hawkpaw and Goldenpaw!" He howled." Hawkpaw! Goldenpaw!" She looked around. She realized Hawkpaw was the one next to her." Congratulations!" She purred. 

Hawkpaw dipped his head shyly." Thanks, umm—?" He tipped his head." Silentpaw. I'm new." Silentpaw murmured." Oh." Hawkpaw tipped his head with interest." Look! Stormstar might mention me." She meowed." We have six new apprentices," Stormstar purred." Silentpaw, Silverpaw and Echopaw." The Clans were about to cheer their names, when suddenly, boom! Cr-crrrrack! 

A loud noise crashed into the forest, and it made a deafening noise." What is it?" Gasps erupted from the cats." Relax!" Duskstar yowled. Stormstar nodded to his cats." It's a shiny silver..." Whitestar meowed. Cloudfuff panicked." What if it's a sign from StarClan?" Stormstar purred and wrapped his tail around his mate." It's silver." He purred." Silverpaw!" Silvertail gasped." It made a huge echo, too." Hawflight nodded to his apprentice. Silentpaw flattened her ears. Ravenfur padded up to her and wrapped her tail around the young apprentice." Silence will spread and destroy the mind." She meowed. Silentpaw froze." What?" She echoed. Ravenfur purred." How did you make that up so fast?" She grumbled." I didn't," Ravenfur shook her head." It was from StarClan. I—"

"You aren't a medicine cat." Silentpaw pointed out. Ravenfur's eyes softened." Maybe because I play a part. The Raven is going to remain silent." She meowed. Silentpaw rolled her eyes." Yeah, yeah." She mumbled." What is it called?" Cloudfluff tipped her head." Skyrock?" Hawktalon suggested. Mintleaf tapped it, and it cracked." Woah!" The Clans gasped. It was a beautiful flower. Its petals were a neon blue, bright and blinding. It slowly faded into a dark blue, black in the very centre. Its stem was black with razing thorns, that stuck out and glinted. It had a very sticky-looking nectar in the middle of the flower. 

She noticed small little thorn on the petals. They were gently dotted out, and the flower itself was larger than Stormstar. Its vines were growing all inside the rock. It had a smell that made her mouth water." No one touch it!" Mintleaf gasped." Stay away from it until we know further about it." The leaders all meowed to their Clans." No! Don't go near it! Bad, bad things are going to happen!" Mintleaf snapped desperately." The Raven is going to remain silent. Silence will spread and destroy the mind at dawn. Silver will Echo across the Clans." She gasped." Meeting over..." Duskstar murmured uncomfortably. Stormstar and Whitestar agreed." Stay away from The Echoing Silver-Blue!" Mintleaf cried." The Silence will break it!" Silentpaw woke up. She was on a...fence?" Hey, Dawn!" A cat purred. Silverpaw! Silentpaw blinked." Dawn?" She asked." I-I'm Silentpaw." Silentpaw meowed." Hah! Hahahahah! What a funny joke!" Silverpaw giggled." What a funny, stupid name." Silverpaw giggled." What?" Silentpaw hissed." Silverpaw—" Silverpaw cut her off rudely by yawning fakely." My name is Bloom, dum-dum." She giggled. Dawn blinked." I...where's Echopaw?" She asked." Echopaw?" Bloom laughed." Our sister." Dawn lashed her tail." Uhh...our?" Bloom snorted. Dawn rolled her eyes. It was just a stupid dream." You've been asleep a while." Bloom meowed." Where's Echopaw?" She asked again." Who is that?" Bloom rolled her eyes." Our sister!" Dawn snarled." Oh! Not our! She just looks like us!"  The she-cat turned around." My name is Raven." She meowed, raising an eyebrow. She saw a grey tabby farther away." Stormstar!" She yowled. She dipped her head in honour as he came over." Uh...I'm Storm!" He giggled." No need to bow. But I like it. Mighty Storm, ruler of all!" He chuckled." Ugh." Dawn groaned with disgust." I'm...going to...rest." She mumbled." Sure!" Storm purred, staring off dreamily." Ruler of all..." he mumbled. She blinked in confusion and leaped down. She walked in, through a black weird entrance. A Twoleg smiled and reached its paw down and ran it along her fur. It felt weird. She rested on a soft, comfy surface.

Silentpaw blinked open her eyes. What a weird dream, she thought. It's reality. Don't wake up! It's horrible here...Dawn whispered. Silentpaw blinked." Hi." She purred." Well, hello. Want a tour?" Amberdash purred." Yes!" Silentpaw squealed excitedly. Amberdash trotted alongside her." You see that large hill?" She asked when they were deep into the forest." That's where the Moontree is." She meowed. Silentpaw's ears perked with interest. Amberdash smiled one more time." And that large tree? The Autumn Oak." She meowed.

 The Autumn Oak was huge." Pretty, isn't she?" Amberdash purred." Yes..." Silentpaw blinked. She trotted over to a place she didn't recognize." Ew! What is that awful scent?" She shuddered." AmberClan. This is Point River." There was a river that separated the two Clans, a steep hill that led the entrance to Point River. It was a deep blue you could get lost into." Scary, huh? Very, very deep." Amberdash purred." Two more stops!" She meowed cheerfully. She had seen plenty of the territory. It was huge. Plenty of trees." This is Sun Island." It was a small place with a few trees, surrounded by a peaceful river. There were large rocks that were rather warm, baking in the hot sun. However, plenty of fish were in there." Beautiful. One more!" Amberdash purred. 

There was a large group of willow trees." We call this one, Willow Hollows." She meowed. Something about the willows scared her. It gave her an itching feeling beneath her fur." Can we train?" She asked politely." No. The code, remember, silly?" Amberdash purred." Oh." Silentpaw nodded. After a few while of listening to the boring code, they finally did battle training." No," Amberdash shook her head." You kick me, remember? You don't hit me." Amberdash purred." Try again." She meowed. Silentpaw bit back a groan and lunged at Amberdash. She swiped a paw at her mentor's jaw, and as she staggered back, she kicked her with her hind legs." Better. We've been out here awhile. What do you say we head back?" She tilted her head." Alright." Silentpaw nodded. They trotted back, and Dovepaw stared at her smugly." How was battle training?" She asked." Did you learn how to swipe your paw?" She added." Dovepaw." Willowtail warned." Let her sleep." Goldenpaw added." Whatever. See you later, Kittypet!" Dovepaw hummed. Silentpaw scoffed and rested her head on the warm, green moss.

Silentpaw woke up in her camp. But...her camp was different. Like, new. Fresh." Dawnpoppy." A voice called out to her. Silentpaw turned around." Fallheart." She meowed against her will." Are you getting your leader name?" The brown tabby meowed." Soon." Dawnpoppy murmured." Hmm. What about this...'deputy', I think you said?" He tilted his head. Dawnpoppy curled her lip." I'm thinking Redstripe or Goldenyarrow.

The medicine cat might be Greytail. He's dedicated to herbs and helping others." Dawnpoppy meowed." What about Amberspark and Duskpetal's Clans?" Fallheart tilted his head." I don't know." Dawnpoppy meowed solemnly." Hmm. Goldenyarrow is my choice. I'll announce it soon." She purred, flicking Fallheart playfully. Fallheart smiled and purred," how are the kits?" He tilted his head." Greytail said they are due in a while." She hummed." I'm excited, though." She admitted. Fallheart nodded in agreement." Where is Sagepool?" She asked." I want to paint leaves again." She meowed." Ever try bark or rocks?" Fallheart suggested gently." Smart." She meowed. She trotted out." Sagepool!" She called." Oh...I'm sorry, I took her out for a patrol." Goldenyarrow meowed." That's good." Dawnpoppy hid her disappointment." I'll wait." She meowed. She turned and trotted back into her den." Any luck?" Fallheart meowed." She's on patrol." She purred." Mother!" She called." Hello."
