Helloooooo~...This is DarkStarKid here. I've been wanting to do this for a while soooo...here it goes. Sorry if it sucks. Like...REALLY sorry. In this fic Summer and Raven are still around. Anyways the pic up there is what you currently look like, Also you have elf ears, a long black tail with a bone spike at the end off it, and mitch matched eyes. However your hair and eye colors can be whatever you wish. You are ten years old right now. Alright lets do this.

 Your P.O.V: 

I was adopted into this family when I was around 5 years old...my parents were killed two years after I was born so I didn't really remember them. The orphanage I stayed at wasn't so bad...sometimes I honestly wish I could go back. When Summer Rose and Taiyang Xiao Long adopted me I thought my life was going to change for the better....but man was I wrong. Them...my two sisters Ruby and Yang, heck even my uncle Qrow and aunt Raven treat me like GARBAGE. They ignore me, they shun me, they look down on me. Not to mention my two bratty sisters bully me at any chance they get, wether it be teasing me, mocking me, abusing me, or rubbing everything in my face, oh and lets not forget blamming me for trouble they made and getting me in trouble with mom and da-....Sigh...

You know what? At this point I'm really not sure why I even still call them that...they don't care about me...not them, not Ruby, not Yang, not Qrow, and not Raven. When ever the family got together for a party or celebration, I'm locked im my room. Hearing all of them laugh and have fun while I'm in a small dusty room crying my eyes out. Don't even get me started on birthdays...Ruby and Yang always stopping by room to show off their fancy gifts and pick on me. When my birthday comes around...well...take a wild guess how that goes. No happy birthday, no gifts, no smiles thrown my way, or even one little I love you. It hurt....it hurt so much...my life...was nothing short of horrible.

Today I was just watching the family train Ruby and Yang from the window in the living room. Today was Ruby's birthday and uncle Qrow and Raven came over to help out, they were all having so much fun time training together. I would always ask to train along with them but its the same answer every single time. "Not now Y/n maybe some other time or Ruby and Yang need it more." Hehehe...yeah sure. It got to a point where I just stopped asking all together.

Y/n: "Sigh....why do I even bother?" I groaned grabbing  my favorite book and sitting down on the couch.

The book was called "Dawn and Night." It was an old fairy tale of Remnant about a legendary sword created by a god named Helel that also went by the name of Lucifer. It was said that any mortal deemed worthy to wield the sword was granted unimaginable power, having the power of both a god and a demon lord. I always like the story...the hero of the story was rightious, heroic, selfless, and just well...awsome. He was the hero I wanted to be, using my power for good and not for just myself.

Y/n: "If only....If only I could be like that hero...I havent even unlocked my aura or semblance yet...or even practiced with a sword..."

I've read this book over and over so many times but...I just can't stop. It gives me...hope. Because the hero in the book wasn't always a badass, before he got the legendary sword, he was just a loser. Reading this makes me feel like....like I'll be able to become strong like him.

Y/n: "I WILL be like him someday...someday...fairy tale or not." I smile as I turn the book to the last page which was my favorite.

The hero standing on top of the evil god holding his legendary blade in the air with a gold aura around it and himself, golden wings on his back and the sunsetting behind him.

Y/n: "I know this is just a fairy tale...but...It feels so real to me."

Just then my moments of peace would soon be interrupted by Ruby loudly  barging in through the front door with the whole family behind her.

Ruby: "Really really uncle Qrow?!" She ask hopping up and down in excitement.

Qrow then ruffled her hair smiling down at her.

Qrow: "Yeah, sure thing squirt."

Ruby then turned to see me sitting down reading my book. She then got a crooked smile on her face.

Y/n: "Aghh....here we go..." I roll my eyes.

Ruby: "Uncle Qrow's gonna teach me some cool scythe skills!" She boasted with a smug grin.

I try to put on another fake smile but fail, all I manage to give her was a blank stare. Her smug smirk quickly faded and she looked confused. She normal got a rise outta me but this time I said nothing.

Y/n: "Sigh...Thats very nice Ruby." I say with an emotionless tone and went back to reading.

Yang: "You know just because your a freak doesn't mean you have to act like one." Yang mocked me.

I then sent a glare at Yang shutting her up, my sudden change in attitude was shocking for her.

Summer: "Young man that is no way to treat your sisters. Now apologise to them."

I grip my book tight and grit my teeth in anger.

Y/n: "Why should I?....All they do is bully me and get me in trouble..."

Summer: "Y/N. What did we tell you about LYING?" Her voice was cold.

Y/n: "Typical...you take their side...like always..." I look away.

I then heard footsteps come toward me, I knew what was coming next...I turn my head and close my eyes. I then felt a hand slap me across the face...HARD. It stung but I kept my composer, I then open my eyes to see my dad standing in front of me with a very angry expression.

Taiyang: "Y/N ROSE, THAT IS ENOUGH!" He roared at me.

I then held my bruised cheek in silence.

Qrow: "Kid, you really should appreciate your family more. Lying wont get ya no where." Qrow said giving me a sour look.

Raven: "Honestly Y/n, your piss poor attitude is a real pain in the ass." Raven scoffed crossing her arms.

Taiyang: "We are a family Y/n, and we respect one another. Now go to your room and stay there, until your ready to apologise. NOW."

I didn't waste a second I got right up, grabbed my book and headed right up the stairs but stopped half way and hang my head down. I could feel everyone's gazes on me.

Y/n: " ........Hehehehe....WE...are a family huh? Tell me..." I then lift up my head and turn to them.

With a sorrowful smile, a cracked voice, and tears running down my face..I ask...

Y/n: "Exactly which WE...are you referring too? TAIYANG?"

The whole family went silent...they all looked at me with widen eyes.

Y/n: "Heh...thought as much." I then make my up up the rest of the stairs and into my room.

No one's P.O.V:

Ruby: "W-whats wrong with Y/n?.."

Summer then placed her hands on Ruby's shoulders.

Summer: "Don't worry about it sweet heart. Never mind him, just...pretend he's a ghost."

Taiyang: "Yes, don't let his negativity drag you two down. You two have bright futures up ahead and he just wants to drag you down to his level."

Qrow: "If you ask me the kid needs a reality check. Those fairy tales he reads, really go to his head."

Raven: "He dreams about being this legendary warrior he can never hope to be in reality. It's actually a bit sad."

Yang: "Yeah, he's a total loser." 

Ruby: "And a crybaby freak." She giggled.

Summer: "Hehehe...Let's forget about him. Ruby, Yang we've go gifts for you two.~"

Ruby and Yang: "YAY!"

Somewhere nearby:

???: ARGHH!!! THOSE PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK!!!

???: "Calm down."

???: "How. The. FUCK. Am I suppose to calm down?"

???: "Language."

???: "You SAW AND HEARD AAAAALLLLLL of that shit...RIGHT?"

???: "Language."

???: "Yes...yes I did and it sickens me to no end as well, but let's give this a gentle approach first. Come on everyone. Let's go talk to the boy."

???: "Right."

???: "Okay."

???: "Bout fucking time."

???: "Language."

???: "ARE YOU A FUCKING POKEMON?! BECAUSE I SWEA-

Your P.O.V:

The second I reached my room, I open the door storm in and slam it shut with my back. I then just lean up against the door for a few moments...then...I slowly slide down, eventually sitting down in front off the door. I then drop the book, hug my knees and buried my face down into my knees sobbing softly. 

Y/n: "W-why?...W-w-why won't they j-just l-love me?.....W-what did I-I do wrong? ....I j-just wanna be loved..." My voice, spirit and heart were shattering...

Y/n: "D-do I deserve this? Because I'm different? B-because I'm a-a fr-f-freak?" I choke out.

???: "No."

Y/n: "Huh?...." I hear a voice in front of me and I lift my head up to see....

Four fairy looking creatures floating above me...one red, one blue, one green, and one white and white and yellow. They werent all that big either...they were about the size of my arm...

???: "Greetings Y/n. I am Larxus elder spirit of wind." He smiled at me.

???: "Hello young one. I am Muzet. Elder spirit of water." She bowed smiling.

???: "Heya kid! I'm Ki-Ki. Elder spirit of nature. Wassup? Ughh...you know..besides the whole spiraling depression thing...." She nervously laughed.

???: "Argh...Retard...Never mind dummy Mc. Dum alot over here. I'm Sole. Elder spirit of fire." She crossed her arm while flexing her fiery wings.

I....didn't know what to say...I was taken back...four elder rulers of the elements were floating right in front of me...If this is a dream I better NOT wake up.

Y/n: "Hello....ugh...h-how do you know my name?" I say wiping my eyes.

Larxus: "Well that's because we've been watching you for about a month now...and...your fami-

Y/n: "Don't call them that...please..." I hang my head slightly.

Larxus: "Of course, my apologies. Well THEY don't treat you right."

Sole: "That's only putting it lightly. Try treating him like a fucking DOG. Hell they treat the dog better then they do him!" She yelled, as her hair caught fire.

Muzet: "Language." The blue spirit said calmly. 

Sole: "MUZET, I SWEAR TO MAXWELL I WI-

Ki-Ki: "Yo, Sole chill out...remember this is for the kid." Ki-Ki said placing her hand on Sole's shoulder.

The fire spirit then calmed down and her flames died down.

Sole: "Right, sorry."

Larxus: "Y/n...those people are cruel to you and you don't don't deserve it. What we've witness in the entirety of the month we've spent watching you, we can tell that you are a tormented soul."

Muzet: "Suffering by the hands of cruel and immature people."

Ki-Ki: "I honestly I can't tell who's worst...the two little brats that take pleasure out of verbally and physically abusing you or the those crooked adults that encourage them to treat you like dirt."

Sole: "I mean seriously if it wasn't bad enough the adults may not physically abuse you like those two girls do but they'll gladly let them! Remember like a week ago when you were carrying dishes and with EVERYONE watching the blonde little shit comes right up behind you and pushes you on the ground, making you drop and break the dishes. THEN the blonde bastard dad yells and screams at you like it was YOUR fault when he clearly saw Yang push you. Then he makes you clean up the mess and sends you to your room without dinner." Her hair caught fire again and the room began to heat up.

Sole: "HAHAHA! OH and that's not even the best part! The following night while you were grounded in your room hungry, that little blonde shit and her little minion come to your room and beat you up! Oh and to top this story off! While they were beating you up you cried and pleaded for them to stop out loud and when mama comes walking by the room and she hears you crying for help and guess WHAT? She pretends like nothings going on and keeps on walking, SMILING to herself!" Her body bursted with flames.

My heart kinda sunk a bit more in my chest...mom really did that?...tears begin to fill my eyes once more.

Y/n: "W-why....why does no one love me?" I begin to break down.

I then feel all four of them cuddle up to me. They were still small compared to me but they tried their best.

Larzus: "WE love you Y/n and I'm sure there are others that would too."

Y/n: "R-really?...You guys love me?"

Ki-Ki: "Really, really buddy."

Muzet: "As servants of Lord Maxwell we are sworn to protect both man and spirit alike. However...we are only allowed to interfere in major events that could possible endanger the future of the whole world and throw the realms out of balance...."

Sole: "Situations like yours...Maxwell deems unimportant and does not require our attention. But to HELL with him and his rules."

Larxus: "We will NOT abandon you Y/n. You are a living being in need and we will not turn a blind eye to these injustices."

Ki-Ki: "So were gonna help in any way we can."

.....Tears came down even harder but...they weren't tears of sorrow...they were...tears of joy. 

Y/n: "Thank you....so much very much." I smile warmly at them. 

Ki-Ki: "There's that smile!" 

Larxus: "Now then Y/n I have a question."

Y/n: "Yes?"

Larxus: "We've only been watching you for a month...so I want to know...how long have things been like this? Did something happen for things to get this way?"

Y/n: "....No...this has been happening ever since they adopted me, when I was five years old...I'm eleven now..." I look away from them.

Silence then filled the room...I look back at them and they looked absolutely infuriated...

Larxus: "You mean to tell me, that this has gone on..." He glowed a bright white.

Muzet: "For 6 years..." She glowed brightly blue.

Ki-Ki: "For NO REAL reason what so ever?" She glowed green.

Sole: "Hehehe...What a FUCKING JOKE!!!" Her flames blazed and danced around.

Their anger both scared and...pleased me. It was kinda scary seeing them so mad, but knowing it was because they cared about me, made me happy.

Sole: "All in favor of me torching this fucking house along with those asshats say I."

Ki-Ki: "I." She raised her sharp stick.

Muzet: "I." She raised her hand.

Larxus: "Sole, please calm yourself. Murder isn't going to solve this. No matter how justified it might be...plus it will only get us into more trouble with Lord Maxwell."

Y/n: "Please...don't kill them..."

Sole: "WHAT? Your defending them?"

Y/n: "NO." I look at her with a harsh stare.

She was taken back a bit.

Y/n: "Don't get the wrong idea. I'm not defending those cretins...its just that their already friggin pathetic. Low life scum...creatures impersonating human beings. Putting them down like the sick animals they are, would seem like too much of a favor for them. I just want them to know how lowley they are...and let them live with that shame until it builds up and bursts in their chest and they slowly choke on it all...." I speak with a venomist tone.

Ki-Ki:  "O_O"

Muzet: "....Oookay..." Looks around nervously.

Sole: "....This kid scares me..."

Larxus: "AHEM....Well then aghh...that aside...what do you want to do Y/n?"

I didn't even have to think about that.

Y/n: "I want to leave this place...and find my own path. I...want to prove them wrong! Prove that I can be strong too!"

Ki-Ki: "Sounds good to me."

Sole: "Beats you staying here. Anyways we could help each other out."

Y/n: "How can I help you? I'm just a kid...I can't even fight..."

Larxus: "Well...since were going against our Lord Maxwell's orders he'll more then likely cut off our mana supply. Mana is a spiritual energy we need to maintain a physical form in the living realm, and use our powers to their full extent. However Y/n...you have unusual amount of mana within you. If you direct tether with us not only can we stay with you, we can also fight to protect you. We can also grant you special powers as well."

Y/n: "Really?! Wait...direct tether?"

Ki-Ki: "Yeah, by linking our souls with yours with spirit tethers your mana can flow from inside you and into us, keeping us sustained. We can also take refuge inside your soul, and we can just come out when you need us."

Y/n: "Wow...cool. But...you'll just be protecting...all the time...I wanna fight too but..."

Larxus: "You haven't unlocked your aura or semblance?"

Y/n: "No...." I hang my head down in shame.

I then felt a hand on my head.

Y/n: "Huh?" I look up to see Larxus's small palm on my head.

Larxus: "May the flood gates be opened."

Just then I feel a surge of power flow through me and a f/c aura surrounded me.

Larxus: "There. I have unlocked your aura."

Y/n: "I feel...GREAT! Thank you!"

Larxus: "Don't worry about it. Now then...Y/n..." He looks at me with a serious face.

Y/n: "Y-yes?" I ask kinda frighten.

Larxus: "You know that book you read all the time?"

Y/n: "Yeah." I answer holding up the book.

Larxus: "You seem rather fond of it."

Y/n: "It...gives me hope. In the story...a total loser becomes a sword swing badass! I....wish I could do that...but I'll have to find my own strength. It's only a fairy tale after all..."

Ki-Ki: "Not at all."

Y/n: "H-huh?"

Muzet: "That story is completely true."

My eyes went wide and my heart skipped a beat...were they serious? Couldn't be...could it?

Y/n: "So...does that mean...the...legendary sword...Soul Edge...is real?"

Ki-Ki: "Right-aroo buckaroo! It's real and we know where to find it!"

Y/n: "R-R-REALLY?!" I sprung to my feet.

Ki-Ki: "Yep, and something tells me your just right to wield it."

Y/n: "You really think I could wield it?"

Larxus: "A heart like yours? No doubt."

My heart was dancing in my chest, this was my chance! My big break!

Y/n: "Alright! Let's not waste any time! Let me pack my things and then lets head out!"

Larxus: "Don't you at least want to say goodbye first?"

Y/n: "Ah...I...I guess I should at least say goodbye first.  I mean..sure they treat me like crap but...they gave me a home...so I can at least say thank you for that at the very least."

Sole: "Grrr...Okay but before you do...you wanna know what they said about you after you stormed upstairs?" 

Y/n: "What?..."

Sole: "Don't worry about it sweet heart. Never mind him, just...pretend he's a ghost."

I clenched my fist so hard they bled, I felt so much rage surging through my veins...my aura then radiated around me.

Y/n: "You know what? I'll just leave a note, screw this..." I then grab my back pack and start packing my things.

Larxus's P.O.V:

Me and the others watched as Y/n quickly packed his belongings in a rather rushed and angry manner. He was really in a rush to leave this place, and honestly I don't think I can blame him. Humans...they can be amazing creatures..but at the same time, they can also be so cruel and for no sound reason. Once he was done packing he grab a pen and paper, then began to write his note. I noticed his left eye twitch as he violently wrote down his thoughts, upon finishing the note he placed it on his bed. I could see he was holding back tears...oh Y/n...you deserve so much better...you've done nothing to bring upon this acts of cruelty...

Your P.O.V:

After placing the note on my bed I turn to the others, already having my fill of this forsaken place.

Y/n: "Alright, let's go. This place makes me sick..." I saw putting on my back pack.

Larxus: "Alright then, but first let us tether our self's to you."

Y/n: "Alright. Sooo...how does that work?" I tilt my head.

Larxus: "Just stand still."

I  then stand in place as I watch the four spirits surround me in a circle. They then begin chanting in some strange language, then a magic circle appeared below my feet. I jump a little but remain in place, then strings of light shot from the four spirits and into me. I felt a sudden jolt go through my body, then the four spirits turned into spheres of light. One red, one blue, one white, and one green. They then quickly move toward me and phase into my body. I feel warmth within my chest...it feels kinda nice.

Larxus: "It's done Y/n." I hear a voice inside my head.

Y/n: "Oh God I'm hearing voices..." I run a hand through my hair.

Ki-Ki: "No your not ya spaz. It's just us!"

Muzet: "We're inside your soul, as well  as your mind. So we can speak with you through thought."

Sole: "So while we're like this, your our source of mana and anchor to this realm. We can assist you in battle should you need us, just call one of our names and summon us. Once your body adjusts to our power we can grant you special abilities."

Y/n: "Awsome!" I cheer.

The four then reappear before me once again.

Ki-Ki: "Alright bud, ya ready to get going? That swords waiting. It's been around for at least ten thousand years and in those ten thousands years...only fifty people have been able to wield it."

Y/n: "Woah...really? There was more then one person who wielded it?"

Muzet: "Correct. We've been around for centuries Y/n, we tend to know about stuff like this."

Ki-Ki: "And ya know? You'll be the first kid to EVER wield it!"

Y/n: "Wow.....hehehe...ALRIGHT! Let's go!" I then crack open my window.

Ki-Ki: "Allow me.~" She then snapped her fingers.

A large green vine then sprouts from the ground outside and reaches up to my window and wraps around my waist. 

Ki-Ki: "Going down.~" She then pointed her finger downward.

The vine then gently lifts me up and out of the window, it then lowers to the ground and carefully places me on the ground below. The four quickly up with me.

Y/n: "Let's blow this shit hole..." I growl and spit at the house.

They all then look at me with concern looks, probably because of my sudden change in attitude. I then calm down and give them a smile.

Y/n: "Sorry guys...It's okay...I'm okay." I smile warmly at them.

They all smile back.

Larxus: "Alright then let's not waste anymore time. Follow us Y/n we'll lead the way, stay close to us okay?"

Y/n: "Right."

Ki-Ki: "Lucky for you the sword is actually close by! So let's get going!"

Sole: "Fucking finally."

Muzet: "Language."

Sole: "I will BURN YOU!!!" She roared as her body ignited 

Y/n: "Hehehe..."I chuckle at their little quarrel.

Larxus: "ENOUGH YOU TWO."

Sole: "She started it..." Her flames went out.

Larxus: "Onward!" Larxus shouted as he flew off into the forest.

The other spirits took after him and I closely followed, as we all vanished into the forest. 

However unkownling to you...Zewi had seen you leave...and he simply whimpered and laid down staring in the direction you took off in sadly.

No one's P.O.V: 

Yang and Ruby were both playing around this their new gifts. Yang had gotten a pair of gauntlets while Ruby got a toy scythe.

Yang: "Hey Ruby let's go show the freak our new gifts!" Yang said with devious smile.

Ruby: "Yeah, maybe he'll start crying again!" 

They both made their way upstairs to their brother's room, however...

Yang: "Hey loser! Check out ou-huh?..." 

As Yang and  Ruby walk into Y/n's room...he's nowhere in sight.

Ruby: "Big brother?" Ruby looked around confused.

Yang: "Y-Y/n?..." Yang then looked at the window that was wide open. 

She also noticed some of Y/n's things were missing as well. 

They both began to panic and ran all the way downstairs to tell the adults that were just sitting in the living room talking. 

Yang and Ruby: "MOMMY, DADDY!!!" They both scream running up to them franticly.

Summer, Taiyang, Qrow, and Raven all jumped startled.

Summer: "Sweethearts what is it?" She asked concerned.

Taiyang: "Whats the matter?!" 

Qrow: "Yeah, what's got you two so riled up?" 

Raven: "Did something happen?"

Yang: "Y/N IS GONE!!!"

They all shot up hearing this.

S.T.R.Q: "WHAT?!" 

Ruby: "W-we went t-t-to hi-s-s r-room and..an-and he wasn't there!" Ruby was trying her best not to cry.

Yang: "His window was wide open and some of his stuff was gone!" 

Summer: "Y/N!" Summer then sprinted to Y/n's room with the others right behind her.

Once they reached his room...it was as Yang and Ruby said.

Summer: "Oh god...oh God please no..." Summer was nearly at tears.

Taiyang: "Summer calm down, we don't know that he's really gone..."

Raven: "Tai...." 

Taiyang: "What?"

Raven then picked up a note on Y/n's bed.

Raven: "He...left a note..."

Qrow: "What does it say?!"

Raven then begins to read it...however as she does, her face becomes sadden and hurt. 

Summer: "Raven! What does it say?!"

Raven: "....It says:

         By the time you read this I've already left this nut house...I CAN'T do this anymore...I can't take the neglect, the verbal and psychical abuse...the heartache...the night terrors...the emotional pain and the overwhelming despair. Its just too much. I have NO idea what I did to any of you to make you hate me and treat me like chewed gum...but now...I just don't give a damn anymore. I am a human being, not a PUNCHING BAG. From the very beginning all I wanted was for you to accept me...but apparently that was TOO MUCH TO FUCKING ASK FOR. Why did you even adopt me in the first place if you didn't want me? Did you adopt me solely on a whim? Or was it out of  pity? 

If so FUCK YOU. I do NOT need nor want your fucking sympathy, if you had no intention on loving me or even treating me like I was a person, then I wished you had just left me at that orphanage. I'd rather live there than with you, HELL I'd rather live ANYWHERE than with you. I don't know whats worst...two evil sisters that enjoy verbally and psychically abusing me or the adults that KNOW about it but just let it happen and even find it funny. The adults that ENCOURAGE their behavior, Ignore and shun me like I'm some kinda creature, put me down on a regular schedule, lock me in my room for days at a time, and oh let's not forget HITTING ME when I call you out on your BULLSHIT. 

I need to appreciate my family more HUH? REALLY!? Hey how about this? TAKE YOUR OWN FUCKING ADVICE YOU GOD DAMN PATHETIC, LOW LIFE, SCUMMY, SLEEZY, CROOKED, SELF-CENTERED, IMMATURE, HYPOCRITICAL, TWO-FACED, DISGUSTING, MOTHER FUCKING PIECES OF SADISM WORSHIPING GARAGE!!! NO MORE! I'm through with this shit! I refuse to be the victim of your cruel and inhuman treatments! ..................Silence...there was nothing....but dead silence in the room....until...

Ruby: "N-No..b-big b-brother....n-no...no..no.nononononononNONONONON-N-NOOOOO!!! I-I D-DIDNT MEAN IT!!!" Ruby broke down into tears.

Yang: "I-I'm the w-wrost s-sister in the w-whole w-world!" Yang broke down crying as well.

Summer: "OH MY Y/N! Oh m-my sweet little b-baby b-boy!!" Summer fell to her knees sobbing loudly.

Taiyang: "Damn it.....DAMN IT!!!" Taiyang punched a hole in the wall in a fit of sadden anger and then began to weep as well.

Raven was silently crying with one hand over her face, clutching the not in her hand as her tears stained it.

Qrow....remained silent...he wasn't crying..although he wanted to...he then slowly walked over to Y/n's bed to look under it. When he did what he found...

Qrow: "Oh god..." His voice actually trembled.

Raven: "W-what Is it?" She choked out.

Everyone stared at Qrow until he turned around...when he did..he was smiling..as tears streamed down his face. He held up...a noose...

Taiyang: "Oh my...." 

Summer: "GOD ALL MIGHTY WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!!!" She sobbed even louder.

Raven: "He....was planning on comitting suicide...huh...were we really that horrible?..." Her tears came down harder as her voice cracked.

Summer: "What kind of mother am I?..This is my fault...my little angel is gone...because of me..." 

Raven: "We have to go find him and fast!"

Qrow: "Right. Tai you stay here and try to calm down Summer and the girls. Me and Raven will go out looking for Y/n, he couldn't have gotten far."

Taiyang: "Right..."

Qrow and Raven then leap out the window.

Taiyang then brings the weeping Summer, Yang, and Ruby into his arms.

Taiyang: "It's....going to be okay...we'll find him..and were going to make this right..."

The girls sobbed even harder while Taiyang tried his best to keep it together.

Your P.O.V: 

I've been following Larxus and the others for what seems to be twenty minutes.

Y/n: "We almost there yet?" I asked anxiously.

Larxus: "Almost. Not to far from now. Do you need to rest?"

Y/n: "Naw, I'm just anxious that's all! I smiled.

Grrrrrrr.....

Y/n: "Ah......" I stop in my tracks as I hear the growl of a Grimm...

Larxus: "Y/n, stay close to us..." He said in a serious tone.

I nod and get as close to them as possible. Just then a large pack of beowolfs surround us.

Ki-Ki: "Sigh...Sit tight Y/n. This wont take long."  She then waves her hand and sharp vines shoot out from the ground impaling a couple of the beowolfs.

Sole then snapped her fingers and a fire explosion engulfed another group of them turning them into ash.

Muzet then raised her hands up in the air and a large wave of water swept up the Grimm and trapped them in a huge sphere of water. Muzet then shut her hands and the sphere of water holding the Grimm inside froze solid and shattered into little pieces.

Larxus the swung his arm and a sharp wave of wind that sliced clean through the last remaining beowolfs.

Ki-Ki: "Yawn!"

Muzet: "Not even worth the effort..."

Sole: "Huh? Is it over already? Sorry I blinked."

Larxus: "Are you okay Y/n?" 

Y/n: "THAT WAS SO COOL!" I jumped and cheered.

Ki-Ki: "Yeah, I know I'm awesome.~"

Sole: "Don't you mean WERE awesome? -_- "

Ki-Ki: "Well I'm awesome-ER.~" She smiled smugly placing her hands on her hips.

Sole: "Is that even a word!?" 

Ki-Ki: "It is now.~" 

Muzet: "Aghh...you two sound like an old married couple..."

Sole: "Oh yeah right! She friggin wishes!" She shot back.

Ki-Ki: "Oh c'mon Soley...you know you want me.~" She winked.

Larxus: "Not in front of the boy! PLEASE!"

Y/n: "Sooo...is this like...a normal thing with you guys?"

Larxus: "Don't even get me started....lets just resume with our journey." He rolled his eyes.

After few more minutes of walking we come across small river and waterfall.

Ki-Ki: "Were here!"

Y/n: "Okay, so where's the sword?" I asked looking around the area.

Ki-Ki then points to the waterfall.

Y/n: "....The waterfall?"

Muzzet: "Hold on..." Muzet then waves her hands and the rushing water splits apart revealing a cave behind it.

Y/n: "Woah..." 

Larux: "Come. Your destiny awaits." 

We then enter the cave, as we proceeded further in it got kinda dark, but the four made their bodies glow lightening the way. As we reach the end of the cave, we come across a large stone pedestal with a small hand statue on it. I look at it but...I don't see the sword...all I see a necklace hanging from the fingers of the hand statue.

[ Imagine the blue jewel is yellow.]

Larxus: "There is is...the legendary blade made created by Helel himself. Soul Edge."

I then look at him funny.

Y/n: "But...that's...just a necklace..."

"........Y/N......."

I felt a chill go down my spine...I...just heard someone say my name...I look around at the others but...they were smiling at me.

Muzet: "You heard it didn't you? Someone call your name?" She smiled.

Y/n: "Y-Yeah..."

Larxus: "That's the sword calling to you."

Just then the necklace began to glow yellow and float up into the air. I watched in awe as it slowly made it's way toward me, it stopped just a few inches from my chest.

Larzus: "It wants you to wield it Y/n...take it."

My heart begins to race as I slowly reach for the floating, glowing necklace...this was it...I then grab ahold of it...and a bright yellow light engulfs my hand. I could feel warmth surge from the necklace and into me...just then the necklace then transformed in my hand...

When the blade finished morphing...I was holding a large claymore sword...not just any sword... The legendary SOUL EDGE!!!

Y/n: "WOW! This is IT! It looks exactly how it did in the book! Oh my God...I'm holding THE SOUL EDGE!" I was overwhelmed with joy...my dream...came true.

Sole: "The sword has chosen you as it's master..."

Y/n: "I can't believe it...it's really real...thank you...thank you all..." I wipe some tears from my eyes.

Ki-Ki: "Don't mention it kid. Anyway...let's take it for a test run.~"

ROOOAARR!

We all then hear loud roar come from outside the cave.

Ki-Ki: "Sounds like an Ursa major. PERFECT."

Y/n: "W-Woah...a Ursa major..."

Sole: "Scared?"

I then buck up and pout at her.

Y/n: "Frick no!" I then run back to entrance of the cave.

No one's P.O.V:

Larxus: "This our chance to see what the boy's capable of." He crossed his arms and smiled.

Muzet: "That it is. Shall we?"

Sole: "Let's."

They all then follow Y/n outside.

Once Y/n was outside the cave, he was met with a large hulking Ursa major staring him down. The boy was frighten...this was his real fight ever...he had no training experience what so ever...besides a few things he's seen in video games...

Larxus: "Do not waver Y/n. Your desire fuels the blade! It won't grant power unless you want it!"

Sole: "DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?!"

The beast growled louder as it was preparing to attack, Y/n gripped the sword tight in his hands and took a stance. Determination filling his eyes and a yellow aura radiating off the sword and onto him. Beautiful golden glowing angelic wings grew from his back.

Y/n: "YES. I do...I'm not gonna back down. Those days are OVER. No more running away, I'm going to show...THAT I'M TRULY ALIVE!" 

ROAAARRRR!!

The beast let out a roar and charged at Y/n at full speed. Y/n then kicked off the ground and flew high into the air...

Y/n: "EAT THIS!!!" The boy screamed as he gathered energy from the sword to unleash a full power attack.

[ Pretend the energy is yellow. ]

Y/n swung his giant blade cloaked in yellow energy down ward at the beast and a MASSIVE wave of energy shot from his blade and engulfed the beast in a huge explosion ripping apart the area around them. The explosion was so massive Qrow and Raven saw it from a distance,  they even had to cover their eyes from the shockwave that followed.

Raven: "What the hell was that?!" 

Qrow: "I dunno, but my guess is that Y/n might be there!"

They then run in the direction on the blast.

After the explosion and the dust cleared...the beast...was no more not even a body remained. Y/n was still there in the air with his wings beating and his heart racing. He...had done it.

Y/n: "WOOOHOOOO!" He pumped his fist up in the air.

Ki-Ki: "WAY TO GO KID!"

Sole: "THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE!"

Muzet: "Splendid Y/n!"

Larxus: "It's a heartwarming sight to see such growth."

Y/n then came down to the ground and his wings vanished and the sword then glowed and reverted back to its necklace state, but it vanished from his hand and onto his neck. Y/n the held the necklace on his neck and smiled down at it.

Larxus: "Your going to be a great hunter Y/n."

Y/n: "Yeah. I am." I smiled with confidence...something I haven't had in years.

Growl...

Y/n then turned to see some Ursa minors approaching, he then saw the four get ready to wide them out. He then chuckled and held his hand signaling them to stop.

Y/n: "I got this...my semblance...I feel it coming on...might wanna back up. Oh yeah and cover your ears." 

They did as he requested. Y/n  then smiled at them and turned to the Ursa minors slowly approaching him. A f/c aura surrounded him and he hung his head down, his hair then stood up and his eyes turned pitched black. He then lifted his head and unleashed a horrid demonic wail.

The demonic sound waves tore the ursa apart, tore apart the ground and even up rooted a few trees, it even shook the ground as well.

Both Raven and Qrow hear the horrid wail...and they stop in their tracks.

Qrow: "...Was...that a Grimm?"

Raven: "That was no Grimm I ever heard...Come lets hurry!"

After the screech Y/n's hair and eyes went back to normal.

Y/n: "I'll call it...[ Whatever you want to call it. ] " The boy chuckled to himself.

The four spirits then began to whisper to each other.

Larxus: "I guess that pretty much confirms it...Y/n is neither human nor faunus...he's a demon."

Muzet: "Half demon...the other half of him is human. I can sense his spiritual energy..."

Ki-Ki: "And he's not just any demon...he's a banshee."

Sole: "Huh? I thought banshees were only female."

Muzet: "I'm guessing Y/n's father was a human and his mother was a banshee...but that was definitely the cry of a banshee."

Larxus: "Love between a human and demon?...Heh...well it's not the craziest thing we've ever seen."

Ki-Ki: "I wonder what happened to them.

Larxus: "Y/n more then likely doesn't know...they apparently died two years after he was born. I heard from his adoptive parents."

Muzet: "Please let's not talk about them."

Larxus: "You don't have to tell me twice. I honestly threw up in my mouth just to that..."

Y/n: "What are you guys whispering about?"

L.K.M.S: "Nothing!"

Y/n: "Oh...agh...okay?" 

Larxus: "Well Y/n? How do you feel?" He smiled at me.

Y/n: "Better then I have in forever. I feel like I've taken the first step to healing."

Sole: "That's the spirit kid. Well? What do you want to do now?"

Y/n: "Leave this place...forever...just...leave Vale behind." He spoke summoning his wings.

Larxus: "If that's your wish. We'll be here for you Y/n." He then phased into me.

Sole: "Just yell if you need us." She then phased inside of me as well.

Ki-Ki: "Let your heart guide you." She phased into me too.

Muzet: "Time to raise your sails Y/n and let fate carry you to the next big stage." She phased into me.

Y/n: "....Right. Time to step out the darkness..." The boy then spread his wings wide.

He then looked at the crimson stained sun set and smiled.

Y/n: "And into the light." He smiled as warmly and took off into the sky.

Raven and Qrow arrived on the scene just in time to see Y/n take off. 

Raven: "Y-Y/n?"

Qrow: "Kid?"

They could only watch...as Y/n faded away into the sun set, with his wings shimmering in the sun light.

Qrow: "Did...he have wings?"

Raven said nothing, she simply hung her head down. Qrow looked around at the completely devastated area and Grimm corpses. 

Qrow: "Damn...could Y/n do all this?"

Qrow then noticed Raven in tears...he then embraced his sister and held her in an attempt to comfort her.

A couple of hours later.

Y/n had been flying at an impressive speed for hours on end, he didn't want to stop until Vale was just a memory of the past. He kept going until he reached a landmass in the southeast called Menagerie. Once he landed in the city...everything went pretty okay for him, as he walked around no called him out or threw stuff at him. No one looked at him funny or anything, they would even smile and wave at him. I think it was mostly because they...were just like him, the population of this place was mostly faunus. However...a problem did arise...

GROWL.....

Y/n then held his stomach...

Y/n: "I'm hungry..." He groaned. 

Ki-Ki: "Sorry kiddo...can't help ya there..."

Y/n: "I know. It's okay...I'll think of something."

As Y/n walked through the town he saw a fruit stand, he licked his lips a little. That fruit looked really good, but unfortunately...he no cash on him...He sighed heavily and leaned against a street light. However unknowingly to Y/n a pair of concerned eyes were watching him. 

Y/n's stomach growled loudly again and he held his stomach once more. He then heard a voice call to him..a rather gentle voice.

???: "Excuse me young man."

He looked up to see a woman with short black hair tall cat ears, yellow eyes, and a black kimono. [ Blake's mom Kali. ]

Y/n: "Y-yes?" He answered nervously.

???: "I've been watching you eye that fruit stand and hearing your stomach growl...are you alright?"

Y/n: "Y-yes ma'am...I'm just a little hungry. That's all." He looked away.

???: "Sorry to bother you but shouldn't you be at home? It's rather late...whats someone your age doing out here by yourself?" She asked with a concerned looked. 

Y/n kept quiet for a few moments then spoke up.

Y/n: "I ran away from home..."

She then looked very concerned.

???: "Why?! Sweetie what would ever make you do something as drastic as that?! Your parents must be worried sick about you!"

Y/n: "They don't give a DAMN about me...if they did would they ignore and shun simply because of my looks? Would they treat me like garbage and put me down at any chance they got? Would they keep me locked up in a small cramped dusty room all day? Only to be allowed out to use the bathroom or if they need chores done that they don't wanna do? Or let my siblings beat me up and get away with it? Would they encourage them to do it? Would they just sit there and WATCH them beat me up and laugh about it? I could go on you know? It only gets worse." The boy crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.

The woman was silent but her eyes BURNED with fury...she slowly brought her face closer to Y/n's. 

???: "WHERE do you live exactly?" She said in a cold tone.

Y/n: "Don't bother...I ran all the way from Vale..."

She then looked a bit surprised, but her look of shock then went back to serious.

???: "So right now...you have NOWHERE to go?"

Y/n: "Nowhere."

???: "Well then. I'm Kali Belladonna and your more then welcomed to join me and my family for dinner."

Y/n: "I'm Y/n, but you don't have to do that...I don't wanna bother you."

Kali: "None sense! Showing compassion is no trouble at all! I insist. Please join me." She held out her hand and smiled.

Y/n honestly hesitated...but he slowly reached for her hand and took ahold of it...her hand was...so warm.

Y/n: "Okay...I guess...not like I have anything to lose..."

Kali: "Giggle! Well then follow me!~" She then lead Y/n to her house.

Kali: "Let's see if we can do something about that growling stomach of yours!~"

Y/n: "Hehehe...Thanks...Miss. Belladonna."

Kali: "No need to thank me sweetie. Who am I to turn my back on a poor soul in need?" She winked at him.

Sole: "Hmm..."

Ki-Ki: "She seems nice. I get a positive vibe from her."

Muzet: "Maybe this will be good for Y/n."

Larxus: "Yes and if not where right here to help him out. But for now..let's just see how this plays out."
