Epilogue

Kira wobbled down the halls grumbling in frustration after her eldest son, Shiki had told her that Shigure was currently nowhere to be found. She knew exactly what her husband was doing and albeit it was a harmless prank, she was not in the mood nor the shape to be searching everywhere for her idiotic husband.

Shiki trailed behind her repetitively keeping an eye on his mother who acted as if she was not even expecting another child.

"Mother, you should slow down" Shiki called out to his mother who glanced over her shoulder.

"Don't worry, Mama is experienced, I've carried you and your brothers without issue"

"I understand you did," The thirteen-year-old sighed catching up to her pace," But you know better to make Father rile you up"

Kira smiled dangerously before facing forward and cracking her knuckles," I'll give him a good smacking, you just watch me, Shiki, learn from Mama in how to handle your childish father" Shiki sighed giving up and just following her to where ever she was going.

After a while, she suddenly stopped making Shiki almost bump into her back. He worriedly stepped to the side to check if something was wrong or if she was in pain.

"Mo-

"I know where he is" Kira sighed running a hand through her long hair," Why did I not even think of there the first place?!" She grumbled tightening her fist and turned down the hall taking the opposite direction.

Shiki proceeded to follow his mother and when he did, he saw her kick her foot up and let the Zori slip off her foot and into her hand perfectly. He found himself pale at the action having seen it before, whenever his father said something stupid.

The male closed his eyes hearing his fathers cry and he walked forward to take a turn to see the footwear plop onto the floor and his father sitting at the patio holding his reddened cheek.

"Kira~ You shouldn't be doing that" His father whined as his mother huffed. She came walking over and Shiki followed, but when he got closer, he nearly felt to two sets of hands holding his legs.

He blinked and turned down to his twin brothers, Hikaru and Haruki. He smiled softly placing his hands on their heads. He muted out his bickering parents-or more like his mother scolding his father and kneeled down to the height of his younger brothers.

"What were you two doing with father?" Shiki asked them and the twins grinned widely before whispering to each other and jumping down the patio without saying anything to him. He just idly watched them moving to the edge to sit.

From his peripheral vision his father was carefully helping his mother sit as well, this time turning the scolding around to her about she should sit after walking so much. Though it had again backfired to her saying it was his fault in the first place, arguing that he should have just told her where he was.

In the end, however, like most bickering, the two made up instantly. While his attention was on his parents, he had not been able to see where the twins ran off. However, when he did turn, he already saw them running back their direction.

"Mama!" Haruki who was more of the vocal twin over Hikaru who was silent, called as he got closer. Hikaru's voice was more silent but enough for them to hear him also say 'Mama'

"Yes?" Kira turned to her sons as she held Shigure's hand that was on her stomach

"You said that since Shiki picked our names, we can pick our sister's name, right?" Haruki asked and the parents confirmed his question.

"We found a name!" He grinned brightly then turned to Hikaru nudged his elbow," You can say it, Hikaru"

The quite twin nodded and smiled brightly before removing one of his hidden hands. Once he did, he had a flower in his hand.

"We can name her Tsubaki, the flower Mama and Papa had the best memories with" When those words left his lips Kira brought her hands to her face and instantly cried. It caused the twins to panic, but Shiki snickered jumping down and placing his hands on their heads.

"Don't worry, Mother is happy," He voiced making the mother look up sniffling.

"Our children are so good at picking names, first Shiki and now the twins?" Kira started to cry even more making Shigure chuckle and motion his hands to the three kids to come over. Soon enough Kira had brought her hands around them as much as she could with the help of Shigure. The family five soon to be six was now in a big group hug.

However, before the moment could last longer, Kira had suddenly stopped crying and froze in place.

"Uh..." She said gently patting her boy's backs," Listen, as much as I want to hug you all, I think Tsubaki is a little jealous and wants to already come out so she can join the family hug." She said straightly making her husband and sons all quickly take action and prepare for the birth of their newest member.

Shiki ran first with the twins trailing behind as they all went to search for Hatori-who along with his wife had still stayed in the Estate. In fact, many of the Sohma's who had left had come back living in the Estate all with children of their own all attending the local schools.

Shigure and Kira heard their sons screaming 'Uncle Hatori, the baby is coming'

"Honestly, those boys" Kira shook her head as she carefully walking with Shigure's help

"Wait until Tsubaki is born, it'll be livelier" Shigure commented and she laughed not denying it.
