Kira tossed one of her bags on top of Shigure who was currently asleep in his bedroll. The sudden impact had made him let out a noise that he's never made before, making her almost snicker at the way it sounded.

Shigure groaned in pain, but most of it was overdramatic considering that he saw who was it that put him in pain.

"I'm going to move in here, so make some space for me, idiot" Kira suddenly announced making him sit up slowly and confused.

"Oh, have you finally given in to my charms? Man, I must be really doing so well, first I somehow attract Tohru into our back yard, now you are planning to share a room with me? My oh-" Shigure was silenced when Kira had knelt down and held his face in her slender hands. It was enough to mute him from saying anything more.

"I swear you love running that mouth of yours," Kira said with a dangerous smile," Anyways, with the Tohru Honda's situation, I think it's best if we make her use my room"

His eyes widened at her words and gently pushed her hand from his face, "Wait you don't mean-"

"What? Did you really think after last night, we'd just send her off?" Kira said in disbelief

"Well, no but..." Shigure slowly removed his covers and shifted to face her. He crossed his arms and his eyes turned sombre," Do you think this is a good idea?"

"It will be fine, just as long as neither of you accidentally hug her, right?" Kira said calmly, but her final word was more of a warning.

"It's still risky and...what about-"

Kira stood up, which halted his words, not wanting to hear her sister's name. She only allowed the younger ones to say it since they were unaware of the situation-however, when it came to Hatori, Ayame and him, she would not allow them to utter her sister's name in her presence.

It was mostly out of forced spite, but the small per cent was that it pained her. She had not seen her sister since she left and while she did still have to go to the main estate for work-they never crossed paths.

Kira had known if she did cross paths-she'd one way or another end up seeing Kureno, who was always glued to Akito's side.

Though even if she hated going to the estate, it was the only time she felt whole since her other half was near.

Shigure had often shared that it was inevitable to keep running, but then again, he understood that unlike him-he was able to bear with seeing Akito, even if she betrayed him.

"Yuki already helped me remove most of my things, you can organize the rest for me"

"Wha-

Kira sighed and turned to look at him," I have to meet up with Hatori since he keeps pressuring me to have my annual check-up. I expect you to handle the arrangements"

"Yes, yes we can't have Hatori come knocking down our doors. Seriously, it's not so hard to get your check-ups, you know he just wants to be careful and make sure you're healthy"

"I am fine," Kira brushed him off and Shigure sighed seeing her leave the room without allowing him to say another word.

He sighed leaning on his palm and closed his eyes remember something from long when the twins were children.

The night that Kira nearly lost her life. It was a nightmare for him and all the other Zodiac's that had already been born.

To lose one of their gods was truly terrifying.
