Kira sat up uncomfortably, since waking up from her days of deep slumber, she had felt the toll on her body. She was not going to improve until Akito got better.

However, it was not physical health, it was entirely psychological.

Akito since then had isolated herself from everyone, but she did start to eat, which was the one thing that had made things a little easier on Kira.

Kira sighed peering at one of the hospital walls," I don't understand why I've been driven to being bedridden...or even have to be in the hospital"

Hatori hummed from his spot in the chair and glanced to Shigure who was standing at the window in deep thoughts.

The clinician had sighed closing his book before getting up from the chair," If you are at the Estate, you'd end up finding a way to do work. If you are at your house, one way or another one of the younger ones will come around and obviously, that cannot be allowed, since wearing the bind is not idyllic in your state"

"Always one thing after another..." She mumbled before laying down," I'll behave, I promise, Hatori" Hatori just responded with a hum before he left the room.

"So, who did you manage to anger or sadden this time, Shigure?" Kira finally acknowledged him, since he had arrived after Hatori who was keeping her company knowing how Kira needed at least one person around most of the time.

"What makes you quick to assume that?" Shigure turned to her and Kira rolled her eyes waving her hand for him to come closer. He did without argument and sat on the foot of her bed.

"The look on your face the moment you came here, that's how. Also" Kira lifted her hand that was connected to the IV and pointed to her chest," In case you forgot, I can feel the restlessness coming from you"

Shigure let out a dry laugh as he leaned back on his palms, making the bed dip," I spoke with Isuzu and found out she was being used by that woman-Rin had been tricked by her, thinking that she knew about the curse"

"What did you tell her?"

He turned and half smiled," Only the truth and then I continued to tell her that she doesn't need to worry anymore. That she doesn't need to work so hard because...the day is nearing. Are you mad?"

"I don't want her to have false hope, but she's been through a lot to not end up with some expectancy. Isuzu deserves that much, so no, I am not mad," Kira glanced up to him before finding one of her arms wrapping around herself.

"That woman...is just always finding ways to cause destruction. I will probably never understand her way, no matter how many days past. Most of my life, Akito and I both had been nothing but degraded by her, the vexation through her veins just because of us being born as females" Kira shook her head," Father was a very strange man, you know, he loved us deeply, but he's lived for a long time isolated-so I somewhat understand why it was easy for him to fall in love with that woman. Even then, he saw how callous she was around others, but he chose to ignore it...Father...was a pitiful man...but he kept on moving forward"

Tears slowly fell down her face as she continued," Then Naruse had given us a box-claiming it was father's soul after he passed on. Akito and I treasured it, but then one day when I was alone, I opened the box, realizing the that it was all a lie. I mean it was foolish, to begin with, but Naruse knew that it was the perfect opportunity to start the manipulation-her and the elder servants. They knew that Akito and I would cling onto the sole thing that pushed us to keep our roles as god intact"

"For me, having known the truth...maybe that is why I don't want to cling onto this curse, whereas Akito-hung onto it, making her slowly turn fanatical like that woman. However, is it wrong that even after all my sister has done, I want her to be forgiven?"

"Maybe the obsession does not end with your sister," Shigure turned up frowning as his eyes became empty," Just like your sister, you continue to cling on not disappointing the elders. Kira had known the harsh and cruel words that Shigure had uttered was the truth. He always knew how to rub a person wrong, but he also always chose to be brutally honest when comforting words were not the one's she did not need.
