"Kira, I told you no more sweets," Hatori scolded her as she puffed her cheeks while wiping the residue of the chocolate she ate.

"I only ate one, it's not that big of a deal, Tori" Kira tried to push his hands away, but he didn't budge, only making her try to fight him by turning her head. However, before he could finish, Kira smiled looking over to the door," Oh! Oh, Akito, they are here!"

Akito who was just staring out the window turned to her sister. She was going to question what she meant but taking a moment to focus, she did in fact, feel the members just outside of the house.

"Hatori" Akito turned to him, making him nod and get up leaving the room. The elder half of the twins turned to Kira, who suddenly fell silent," What's wrong, Kira?"

Kira furrowed her brows and frowned before crawling over to her sister. She looked at Akito before lowering her head," I don't want to see him"

Kureno turned to her and lowered himself to be on eye level with her," What, who?"

Kira looked away, having been too late since the person that her subconscious was screaming to not wanting to see was entering the door with Hatori. She quickly went closer to Kureno and held onto his arm hiding her face.

Kureno looked down worriedly at her then to Akito "Hey..." Akito tilted her head, genuinely confused with her sister's sudden mood change.

Kira just shook her head and hugged Kureno tighter, making Akito sigh.

"How long are you going to stand there and whisper? Didn't I tell you to come to me immediately when you arrive?"

"Ah" Shigure turned and looked into the room, his eyes first met with Kira's figure that was cowering behind Kureno. He took a moment to turn up, confused at the gesture, but he ignored it for a moment knowing it was better to respond to Akito," Hello, Akito, everyone has come here to greet you"

"You're too slow, even idiots move faster than you do"

Shigure chuckled dryly," You're absolutely right, I'm sorry"

Akito glared at him before turning to Kureno," Forget it, Kureno, you should leave first. There's no need for you to see the others" He nodded, but he looked down to Kira, making Akito reach over.

"Kira, is the person you didn't want to see, Shigure?" She voiced loudly and Kira nodded," Why?"

"Gure is a big meanie"

"Gu-" Before Shigure could question it, Hatori placed a hand on his shoulder stopping him.

"Akito, do you think we should explain the situation to him?"

Akito sighed and leaned on her palm," I guess, Kira can you let Kureno go?" The younger twin hesitated but listened to her sister. Instead, of leaving Kira to look for something to hide behind, Akito reached over and opened her arms, making her quickly transfer herself to clinging onto her sister.

"Shigure, close the door and sit down" Akito ordered and she ran her hand through Kira's short hair, which caught Shigure's attention instantly.

"Is there a reason you suddenly decided to grow your hair?" Shigure asked Kira who was laying on his legs.

Kira hummed before sitting up and looking at him and running her hand through her long white hair," I don't know the reason really, something inside me just does it unconsciously and I have no idea why"

Shigure closed his eyes reaching for a lock of her hair and bringing it to his lips. He remembered his words from years ago, way before her accident.

"You look better with long hair, why not grow it"

"Will that make you love me more?"

A young Shigure chuckled placing his hand on her head," I love you, no matter how you long or short your hair is, but aren't you tired of that woman mistaking you for your father?" The young Kira frowned nodding her head," It'll be like a charm, whenever you grow nervous, insecure or if there are times when I can't be by your side, you just run your hands through your hair"

"That is so weird, Gure,"

He chuckled leaning forward and placing a kiss on her forehead," Maybe so, but to me, it'll just be a reminder of all the times we spent together, from the first day I said I love you, until the next time I say it again"
