Chapter 2

Jason knew that running would only slow him down, so he walked. He walked for days, not knowing where he was going. Each night, he made a little shelter, he no longer had a human scent but now he had a wither scent so as long as he hid himself, he was safe.
He still didn’t quite know how to use his powers. He tried so hard, everyday , to teach himself how to use them. But it was no use. He just couldn’t do it no matter how hard he tried. He didn’t know how this helped him at all. He knew that you have to do something to make your dreams come true, and he did. He tried so hard to be powerful, he prayed so hard. This wish was making him go insane. He had hallucinations. Sometimes he was walking down the field. A snowy field, in a mountain biome. He heard his name. “Jason,” the voices called. As he turned around he saw his kingdom, the castle, and the people, happy to see him. But as he blinked, everything was gone, leaving no traces behind.

One time he was walking, as always. He turned around, he didn’t hear his name and there was no castle and no people. There was a cave. A big, dark cave. But no matter how many caves like this he has seen before, this one was different.  Jason felt different as he was there, staring at the blackness. And each step he made away from it, felt just wrong. Finally he decided to stop going away and turned around, starting to walk towards it. He didn’t know if it was wrong or right, but he just couldn’t stop walking. When he got to the cave, he took out a torch which lit up the place. He kept on walking until he stopped, looking at what he was searching for.

These weren’t ores, humans, friends, this was something that probably nobody saw yet. In front of him there were withers. Wither skeletons, withers, and something he was pretty sure that didn’t exist  but probably does, wither horses and wolves. Right at the end of the cave, there was a wither, larger than the others. Jason started walking again, making his way thru many wither mobs. Some of them were confused, most of them angry and surprised. Finally he came to the biggest one.
The white, shinny eyes were staring at his. Jason flied up a bit (he can fly, yes) so that his face was now on the same level as the biggest head of the wither. Right now he didn’t know why he was doing his. His hand reached forward and touched the wither’s forehead. He closed his eyes. He felt different, like there was something happening. He felt a connection between him and this wither. It wasn’t a scary wither anymore, now he saw a friend in it. Then the wither looked  at the crowd of other wither mobs who were all silent. He wasn’t sure how but suddenly he understood wither language. “All hail Jason the new king!” the wither shouted and everybody replied: ”All hail Jason the new king!” Jason smiled proudly, looking at his new kingdom.
