Zane's Pov
For most of first period aphmau talked to me.
I ignored the people glaring at me and just listened.
I talked a couple of times.
It turns out she has all her periods with me.
So now I have someone to talk to.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The bell ringed.
I got up from my seat and waited for aphmau.
"Ready?"I asked.
"Yeah."She said giving me a smile.
As Aphmau and I walked threw the hallways people were staring at us.
Which made me feel weird.
I always wondered why she was talking to me instead of talking to other people.
Since they all call me names and throw stuff at me.
I glanced at her seeing that she was smiling while holding her books.
It wasn't long in till we got to our next class.
Mrs. Crystal waited by the door allowing kids in.
"Ah! You must be Aphmau, correct?"Mrs. Crystal asked.
"Yes I am."she said giving her a small smile.
"And I see Zane is showing you around?"she asked which made me look over.
I noticed Mrs. Crystal gave me a smile.
"Yes he is."aphmau said looking over at me.
I felt my face start to get hot "was I blushing?"I thought holding my hands up to my face.
I walked in and sat in my seat while aphmau sat next to me.
Thru out the 3rd period class Mrs. Crystal talked about ancient times.
Then put kids into groups of two.
I noticed Aphmau looked over at me and smiled "would you like to be my partner?"she asked.
My eyes widened nobody ever wanted to be my partner I was always left out and to work alone.
"Sure."I said before I saw people looking over at me.
But I looked up at the Mrs. Crystal and she gave me a small smile.
As the class period went by me and Aphmau were signed our assignment.
We had about three weeks to do it which was pretty good.
But knowing my dad he wouldn't allow her in the house.
So I will have to go over to her house instead.
My brother was in my next period class which meant he was gonna try and take her away from me.
I sighed before getting up.
"Zane I need to talk to you outside real quick."Mrs. Crystal said.
I walked outside and leaned against the wall.
"Zane are you worried about your brother next period?"she asked giving me a worried look.
"Yeah."I said looking up at her.
She sighed "Don't worry he won't be able to."she said.
"But last time I made a friend. I lost him in a matter of seconds cause of everyone spreading rumors to the kid."I said closing my eyes.
"Zane I don't think aphmau is easy to convince."she said.
I opened my eyes and looked up at her "what do you mean?"I asked.
"Can't you see. If aphmau wasn't your friend. She would have walked away and sat some where else and would have became partners with someone else. But she didn't."she said.
I looked inside and saw aphmau getting her stuff together.
I looked back out and looked over at Mrs. Crystal "maybe your right."I said.
"Of course I'm right. So don't worry about it."she said before bringing me back inside.
I grabbed my stuff and right when I did the bell had ringed.
I walked out in the hallway and waited for aphmau.
Aphmau's Pov
When the bell had ringed I noticed Zane was waiting for me by the door.
As I went past the teachers desk Mrs. Crystal stopped me.
"Please Aphmau, stay zane's friend. He is gonna need it."Mrs. Crystal said.
I looked over at Zane and saw him waiting.
I nodded my head "I will."I said.
"Good, I'm happy."she said giving me a small smile.
Then I walked out and into the hallway and me and Zane walked to our next period class.
