Six Months Later...

"Where are you leading me, to my death?" Mikasa joked as she slowly walked, a bandana tied over her eyes to stop her from peeking out from her closed eyes. Her hands held by the one she loves as they lead her away to somewhere.

"I wasn't lying when I told you that I love you and want to spend my whole life with you, so it's time I proved my point" Levi answered, he voice happier than he would normally let it. 

"I already know you love me, you kissed me why we were covered in blood and we've kissed covered in titan blood too as it steamed away during last month expedition. I think it proves you love me the most" Mikasa shot back with a shrug, hearing the one she loves chuckle over her reply. 

"All right, I've proved that I love you more than my cleanliness but I want to make it known to the whole world that I choose to stay with you" Levi answered, playfully rolling his eyes over his girlfriend stubbornness sometimes. He was trying to be romantic for once, even taking her out of the camp and she's been poking at him the whole way. 

He really did love her if he stayed with her all this time and never one tried killing her .. all right, never twice tried killing her. 

But in his defence, she tried killing him that one time as well back in the underground so they called themselves as fair by now. 

"Are we in the woods?" Mikasa asked surprised, sniffing the air and she could smell the trees that were still damp from the ramp in the night. Wet wood and flowers filling the air as well and she feel the sun draping on her through the leafs gaps. 

"We're home" Levi shyly answered, coming to a stop and shakily undoing the bandana and stepping to her side, watching her reaction and hoping he did something right. 

Mikasa froze, she was completely stunned as she looked to the old farm grounds. The worn cabin that needed a bit of fixing up and the grass was overgrown. It seemed more like a jungle than the old farm she use to call home. Warm tears filled her eyes, he really did bring her home like promised.

"I-I know it doesn't look it's best but we'll use our days off to start working on the cabin. We can cut down the grass and work on the farming area once more. Start making this our forever home and live here instead of at the camp. I already spoke to Erwin and he holds no power to stop up from living here. Other soldiers live at him instead of the camp, we might have to spend some nights in the camp close to an expedition but during the calm days we can live here together" Levi nervously spoke as she fiddled with cravat, just hoping that Mikasa liked it. 

"Thank you, I love it" Mikasa answered, stepping closer and wrapping her arms around him, leaning their foreheads together. 

"We'll make this place our home, we'll grow our foods and find them to taste better than anyone else's. This will be our home, we just have to make it our home first" Levi smiled gently, looking into the one he loves eyes.

"Let's make it out home" Mikasa smiled, letting her joyful tears fall as Levi just smiled at her.

"I really have fallen in love with you if I've volunteered to live on a muddy farm" Levi smirked playful, listening to the sweet sound of his love giggling. 

"I'll take that as my greatest achievement in life, wear it proud like a medal" Mikasa grinned back before closing her eyes and joining their lips for a warm and loving kiss, letting the moment soak in. 

Extra..

"Just wait until we get married, our rings are going to the most honourable medal I've ever worn and everyone going to see me wearing it" Levi smirked back once they pulled away.

"Well, we have a home to fix up, why not get those rings too" Mikasa shot back with a sly grin as Levi blushed a little.

"This was not how I planned to start our future but god, I wouldn't want to marry anyone but you" Levi admitted, fiddling with a pocket before popping out a simple silver ring in the one he love size.

"I think we may need to decide who's the alpha in this" Mikasa shyly spoke as she pulled out a matching silver ring in the size of the one she loves.

"I think we're find just how we are, I don't mind being asked by you and I don't care if you dislike being asked by me because it's happening anyway" Levi shot back with a carefree shrug.
