"Hang on, I just got my ass painfully kicked and you didn't even get a kiss from him ... What the hell was the fight for than!" Eren yelled back, flinching in pain as he moved his body to fast while trying to turn to Mikasa who was helping to clean up some of the blood on his face.

"You made him realize something" Mikasa answered calmly, trying her best to not hurt Eren anymore than needed to clean up the old blood.

"Man, this sucks. Jean can take the next ass beating when the Captain fucks up again" Eren grumbled but his anger didn't meet with his eyes. He was as happy as Mikasa was that Levi finally took notice of something important and made the move to keep it. 

"Thank you, Eren. For everything" Mikasa smiled sweetly, leaning forward and placing a kiss on Eren cheek as he just gave a goofy grin, chuckeling a little.

"Damn Mikasa! Love made you all soft" Eren teased before whimpering in pain as Mikasa cleaned out the cut on his chin without warning.

"Oops" Mikasa shot back with fake concern.

"Fine, you're still a grumpy cow-ow. Be nicer to me, I just got beaten the crap out of to help you" Eren started to joke before yelping in pain as Mikasa pressed harder on his cut earning him to yell at her. 

"And I showed my gratitude already, so don't push your luck. But I am impressed, you faced Levi head on, made him react by listening to his heart instead of his mind and made sure he wasn't engaged. You really are something" Mikasa praised as she was back to being gentle as she worked on her friend injures.

Eren tensed up, his eyes growing wide as his lips parted slightly.

He never did ask Levi if he was engaged or not. 

He didn't think of it why he was in the fight and Levi showed his true colours over Mikasa. 

Sure, Levi clearly felt the same as Mikasa making them have a happy ending in his eyes but he never asked about the marriage. 

You can get engaged with someone without loving them and well, Levi is a well known hero to most. 

It won't be a surprised to anyone if he was forced to date someone or someone clung to him and he couldn't reject without any good reason since Mikasa was gone. 

Oh crap!

Mikasa is going to actually kill Levi!

"A-About the engagement bit" Eren nervously smiled, fear rising in his eyes as Mikasa raised an eyebrow.

"What about it, you did check he was a single man still .. right? I'm not stop in a love triangle or trapped in watching him marry another .. right?" Mikasa replied, a warning look in her eyes as she was ready to snap depending on Eren answer.

"W-Well, I-I never got around in asking him. In truth, I went to confront him for you and he won't have it. When I did grab him, I did notice he was holding a letter and a ring his size .. he might actually already be married" Eren weakly answered, shuffling back on the bed before Mikasa took her anger out of him.

"HE'S WHAT!" Mikasa screamed out in rage making Eren jump in fright.

"W-We don't actually know just yet .. the ring might be an old gift or something. He wasn't wearing it and he didn't even try wearing it if you ask me. This might be a whole mix up .. so why don't you ask" Eren quickly replied, holding his hands up in surrender as Mikasa stood up from the edge of the bed.

"I think I will" Mikasa snarled and headed towards the door, leaving her folded up shawl on the bed without thinking.

"Mikasa! You might want to tak-" Eren started to call out as she pulled the door open harshly, him grabbing her shawl to hold out but she stormed out without a single word. 

"Oh god, I might have just killed the captain" Eren muttered in pure horror. 

"Armin! I need a favour and your sacrifice" Eren yelled out as he tried climbing of the bed, wobbling a little as he stood.  

"Can I volunteer Jean instead?" Armin called back, he was outside and saw the look on Mikasa face when she walked past, he wasn't going to face that death trap.

"Nah, she won't cry over Jean" Eren answered as he limped towards the still opened door.

"Bastard" Jean screamed back from the hallway.

Sorry, I know it's rather short...

(Like me, Ha! And Levi but he's hot short so that's fine)

Look, I have good news but bad news. I'm still doing this story but I'm struggling with the next part of the story. I mean, I know what I want to write in the next lot of chapters but it's wording them the way I want. I'm struggling with using my brain .. more than normal and I'm not sure how to write up the next lot of chapters.

So, the good news is that I'm still doing the story and it's NOT discontinued.

The bad news is, the updates might be rather slow from now on.

But, since I feel guilty after updating the story so much and trying to keep the storyline going, I'm starting another book. It's Rivamika like always but why I slowly carry on this story.

Thanks for being supportive and not biting my head over this, well .. I hope anyway.
