"Mikasa! Come quick, Eren fighting with Captain Levi" Armin yelled out in panic as he ran towards Mikasa who was speaking with Sasha and Christa.

"Eren is fighting the captain?" Christa asked in horror as Armin grabbed at Mikasa arm once he finally reached her.

"Y-Yeah, full on f-fight. T-They by the m-main b-b-bu-building" Armin panted out, his hold on Mikasa arm weaker than normal as he was feeling all the running he just did.

"And we're missing it, why didn't you tell us sooner!" Sasha screamed out like they were missing the biggest event ever.

"Why didn't you get another captain" Mikasa replied, overlooking Sasha joy from the news just told.

"They're not fighting as soldiers but as men, one on one without any rank or titles holding them back. It's Levi against Eren" Armin worriedly explained as he met with Mikasa eyes.

"Take me to them" Mikasa ordered and Armin gave a nod before pulling her along.

"But what will you do? You're strong but Eren won't just fight the captain without reason, can you handle Eren betrayed wrath if you pull him back now" Christa called out as she and Sasha ran behind them, wanting to help anyway they can. 

"I'm the only one who can stop Levi" Mikasa simply answered, Armin nodding in agreement and that's why he came straight for her when he took notice the fight was actually happening. 

The four ran as fast as they could, Mikasa panic rising within every passing second. This was her fault, she let her emotions out and now Eren was just trying to get a bit of revenge for her. He was trying to protect her and make it easier for her to move on. She was such a fool to think he would give up after knocking on the captain door last night. 

She should have spoke with him, tell him that Levi wasn't worth the beating and that she could handle herself. That she would be fine in no time and just live without Levi in her life, if Levi could live without her than she must be able to do the same .. right?

Her eyes landing on the two figures ahead, Eren was swinging his fist towards Levi who moved out the way with ease before sending a kick towards Eren ribs. 

Hanji and Jean standing watching the two, Reiner, Connie, Ymir and Marco was keeping passing soldiers back on the path, trying to keep everyone out of Levi and Eren way as they let lose. Of course, Connie and Ymir was yelling out their own cheers now and than, Connie cheering for Eren why Ymir was cheering for the captain.

"We'll help keep others back" Sasha spoke, grabbing Christa hand and pulling her away towards the four to help them out. 

Armin gave a silent nod, letting Mikasa wrist go now they were close by and letting her run ahead since he was ready to collapse any second now. He was not one for sports or any form of excises .. he needed a moment to catch his breath. 

"Jean, why didn't you stop him. This is suicidal" Mikasa snapped as she reached her friend and Hanji.

"Stop him?, I'm cheering him on. I was ready to punch the damn captain in the face, Eren just beat me to it" Jean whispered yelled back with pride, for once he was on Eren team and fully supporting this. 

Mikasa wasn't sure if she wanted to be mad or proud over his answer, he was letting Eren fight close to death but also finally getting along with Eren. It was a moment in history that needed to be written down and remembered as an unforgettable day. 

"I'll stay out this fight Mikasa, it's one sided but Eren is still letting all of his anger out on Levi. You might end up taking a hit or worse if you step in now" Hanji warned as she looked to the women before turning back to the fight. 

"What started the fight?" Mikasa asked, she already had a feeling why but she had to be sure. If Eren was risking taking a beaten from Eren because he wanted revenge on Levi for hurting her. Than she'll never forgive herself for him getting hurt, she should have deal with all this herself and comforted Levi not acted like a kicked puppy before her friend. 

"Eren had enough of Captain bullshit towards you and went to confront him. I went along since I'm fed up just sitting back and seeing you like this, it's not fair and it shouldn't happen in my eyes. But Captain Levi won't give us the time of day and well, Eren threw the first punch at the captain, landing a surprised hit. Now, they having a real fight" Jean explained with ease, his eyes staying on Eren who was taking a couple of hits to the stomach by Levi.

"But this fight won't prove anything" Mikasa frowned, lowing her head as she wasn't enjoying the sight before her.

"It dose to them, this fight is one of the most important days of their life because if Eren wins, Levi gives you up forever" Hanji answered, glancing to Mikasa who stood stunned and letting her eyes grow wide in shock.

"I-I thought Levi didn't want me in his life anymore" Mikasa weakly spoke, hurt in her eyes as she looked to the ground.

"Than why is he fighting Eren so seriously" Hanji shot back making Mikasa look up in surprise once more. 

"He doesn't want to lose me" Mikasa whispered with hope, her eyes falling towards the fight in front of her and seeing how serious Levi was. He wasn't pulling back, he wasn't going easy and he was barely staying calm enough not to kill Eren. 

He was fighting to keep her. 

She watched as Eren laid on the ground, pain written all over his face while Levi stayed pinning him, glaring daggers straight at Eren and almost ready to kill him.

"You never asked what you got if you won" Eren gasped out, looking Levi dead in the eyes even if he was in a lot of pain right now and a little scared of the captain.

"Is that admitted defeat?" Levi asked instead, raising an eyebrow as he was ready to keep beating the living shit out of Eren as much as he needed to, this win was going to be his.

"I surrender, you win and your prize is the truth" Eren smugly grinned, closing his eyes as he caught his breath a little.

"The truth" Levi muttered like the man before him was mad. 

"You don't want to lose her" Eren whispered with a smirk, giving a cheek wink to his captain before glancing towards Mikasa.

Levi released Eren wrists and throats, kneeling of him before turning into the direction the man was staring at. His eyes growing wide as he took notice of Mikasa just staring at him, warm tears filling her eyes and a soft smile filling her lips. Her hand gripping at her shawl scarf, almost as if she was touching her beating heart herself. 

"Her heart belongs to you, so why not take it" Eren whispered as he slowly sat up, wincing in pain a little as he really hoped he could have the next ten years off from work why he recovers. 

Levi pushed himself to stand, heading straight towards Mikasa why Hanji, Armin and Jean walked round the captain before rushing over to Eren to make sure he wasn't bleeding to death and would live long enough for them to reach the hospital.

Mikasa kept her eyes on Levi, her breathing slow as she let her hope fill her eyes, wishing for this moment to be true. That her faith in them always being one and together, that this wasn't just a blissful dream she'll wake from too. 

Levi bit his lip, taking her hands in his as he looked to her scarf, the answers he's always been hoping for has been staring at him all this time. He twirled her body round, pushing her back into his chest as he wrapped his arms around her, keeping her tightly tucked to him as he leaned his chin on her shoulder.

"Please, don't ever leave me. My life is yours for now and forever but I couldn't bare to take another breath if you were no longer with me" Levi whispered in a small and gentle voice, almost pleading her to never leave him.

"My first kiss was given to Furlan, my second kiss to Isabel and my last .. was given to the man I never wish to live without" Mikasa softly answered, closing her eyes as she found bliss in being held in his arms. 

"I promise to tell you the truth, to pass on my heart and promise my future to you and you alone. I wish to always be the one who stands with you, to be the only one you ever need and I want to be the only one who can hold your heart. But I can't confess, not yet but soon, just wait a little longer" He pleaded, his voice a bare whisper but loud enough for the one person who he ever wished to hear his truth feelings. 

"I'll wait, I've never truly left you yet" Mikasa promised with a warm smile, turning her head to meet with his gaze and wanting nothing more than to seal her promise with a kiss but knowing it couldn't happen.
