Mikasa and Levi moment was ruined as Petra came knocking once more, calling out for him desperately. Levi went to push himself to sit up, raising an eyebrow as Mikasa became nothing but a dead weight on him, keeping him in place before he ruffled her hair thinking she fell asleep again. 

Rolling her over, sliding himself free from the sofa and grabbing a pair of socks. Calling out for Petra to hold one a second, quickly placing his socks on and sliding into his boots before unlocking the door. Making sure to keep the view of Mikasa blocked with the door since it would be bad for the both of them if rumours went about over them. 

Mikasa glared towards the door, her cheek in the palm of her hand as she listened in. Seems like Levi squad was needed for a chore or task or something, Mikasa didn't care. She only cared that this Petra chick seemed oddly shy and cute towards Levi even if Mikasa couldn't see her face, the voice told it all. 

Quickly lowing her head and pretending to sleep as Levi went to look towards her over his shoulder. She waited a couple seconds before taking the risk and lifting her head just in time to see Levi start walking out, closing the door behind him making her pout. She listened as his annoyed voice faded into the distance before she pushed herself to sit up. 

She snuck out of his office, leaving the door unlocked knowing no one would try breaking in unless they had a real death wish by Levi. She let her mind wonder a little, she never really did get a true answer of the rumour. 

He might not have any clue what rumour she meant and just guess making him give the wrong answer without both of them knowing. But it was clearly she couldn't just ask him straight out about the rumour without being seen as a spoilt brat pushing her luck. 

She had to think smart about this, look for clues or actually use Eren idea and try to get answers from Hanji. But she couldn't fully out ask the crazy captain either, she'll read too much into t he question and try to loop around both her and Levi into something that clearly wasn't happening. 

She had to be smart and to be smart, she had to kidnap Armin. 

But in the end Armin and Eren didn't return at all, even once it was curfew for all the soldiers on duty, they didn't return. Mikasa guessed that Eren was sleeping round at his parents after not being able to see his mother for so long and Armin most likely was doing the same with his grandpa, to make as many memories as he could before one of them died. 

Then morning came, the normally half day Sunday was here but for once they had the full day off. The last day to decide if they wanted a transfer out of the Survey Crops otherwise they'll be trapped in a five year long loyalty and than given the freedom to transfer to the Garrison or Military Police if wanted. 

But why they all did get dressed in none uniform once more, as they headed to breakfast their lovely dream of having a full Sunday off was smashed between them. It was all Armin and Eren fault as well, they returned that morning and got caught by Hanji before agreeing to help, offering all of the new recruits help. 

No one stopped Jean picking a fight at Eren since they all had to return and put their uniform on, straps as well in case they had to use any odm gear. 

No one was in a jolly mood as they finally reached the dinning hall before breakfast hours finished, eating in a tense silence. They lightened up as Armin was close to tears, clearly feeling guilty and explaining how they couldn't just reject a Captain orders or asked favour when they're still newbies. 

So, once they finished eating, deciding to use their jackets or capes, not both since it was a sunny day and felt a little warm. They all finally headed to meet with Hanji who left Moblit behind for them to lead the way. 

Moblit showed them to a cart that was already hooked up to a horse and ready to be used. The group glancing to one another before turning back to the cart. Were they all being punished or taken back, were they rejected in reaching the Survey Corps expectations. They did their best in the tests through out the week but was it all for nothing, were they being rejected and expected to transfer to the Garrison or Military Police.

"Moblit, can you tell us the location we'll be arriving at?" Mikasa asked as she stepped forward, the unease and worry from her classmates filling the air and almost choking her. 

"Nope but it seems you lot have been trusted with arriving at the location, hop on" Moblit answered with a friendly smile, climbing on at the front of the cart and grabbing the horse reigns.

Mikasa jumped into the back of the cart without a second thought, turning around and kneeling down as she offered her hand to the rest. Nodding for them to come with since she was rather sure if they were being kicked out, they wouldn't have sent Moblit. He would flat out tell them but this .. it seemed like something special and most likely rather rare to happen wherever they would be taken. 

Eren took a deep breath before giving a determined look, taking Mikasa hand and climbing into the cart. Turning around once he was on before offering his hand ready to help Mikasa pull up the next person. 

Jean was neck, mostly taking Mikasa hand with both of his own before climbing up a little better. Kicking at Eren when he tried helping to ease the weight Mikasa had to handle over pulling Jean up. 

Armin was next with Marco behind him, Reiner stepping forward and helping to lift them up from behind before Eren and Jean worked on pulling Marco up and Mikasa yanked Armin on the cart. Reiner hopping on himself, Mikasa patting his shoulder as he had all fours on the floor once pulling himself up better. Ymir lifting Christa up by herself before taking Eren offered hand and climbing up. Connie and Sasha was helped up last, mostly by Jean and Eren who just lifted them up with ease. 

Moblit waiting for them to all sit down with their backs to the side, watching as Mikasa pulled the flat up and closed it the best she could before sitting down between Eren and Armin. Moblit just humming as he lead the horse in the direction needed, taking care to not use the main roads and even going a route the others didn't know about. It followed through a different area of woods and unless you knew the path, you would clearly get lost. 

It took thirty minutes, most of them falling back to sleep as they did wake up a little early than needed for a day off but than again they all planned to leave the camp. To get anything they may need since they won't be able to leave camp for awhile and it would mark their last day of trainees before they stood as part of the Survey Corps. 

Once arrived, they were parted right outside a brick arch to a wall that surrounded a fortress, a mini mansion with a tall tower. It seemed forgotten and untouched for years, barely ever used but than again it was rather hidden from an outsiders point. No wonder no one used if, most of the walls probably didn't even know it existed and the joinery back and forward to the closest town would be dreadful. No one was rich enough to just simply live inside. 

Moblit hopped down, placing the horses reigns to a tree branch leaning over the path a little before walking to the back of the wooden cart. Opening the hatch up and stepping back, ready to give them all a hand. Hanji walking towards them from the front of the mansion open area, the ground having a stone path leading from the brick arch towards the wooden double doors of the entrance.

Four other survey corps stood unsure by some abounded stables, all four just watching since they weren't told over any other soldier coming over. The fortress was meant to be a secret location after all. Levi walking along, heading towards the arch not far behind from Hanji, clearly he wasn't told about this either and came to check what was happening. 

"Come on, wake up" Moblit called out as he looked to the five sleeping soldiers, Christa, Ymir, Armin, Connie and Marco. Reiner already jumping down with Jean and Sasha. Eren stayed sitting beside Mikasa who Armin was using as a pillow and had his arms wrapped around her arm like a child. Ymir had Christa cuddled up in her lap while Connie slept half sitting and half laying on the cart. 

Marco woke rather easy by just Moblit calling them, rubbing his eyes a little before he shook Connie and stood up. Jumping down from the cart and stretching a little.

"Five more hours" Connie whined back, rolling on to his side a little.

"Uck off" Ymir sleepily growled, not forming all her words properly making the other's rather thankful since they were in the presence of Captains. 

"Hmm, are we there already?" Christa tiredly asked, rubbing her eyes like an innocent child earning Reiner to start having a nosebleed over the cuteness level. 

"We are, it's time to wake and find out why we're here" Mikasa answered, turning to Armin and trying to shake him a wake.

"Need a hand?" Eren asked with an amused smile, Armin wasn't letting Mikasa arm go and he clearly wasn't waking up either. 

Ymir and Christa waking a little bit more and moving to jump down before they got elbowed in the face by Mikasa or Eren who were dealing with Armin. Mikasa stood up, Armin just hanging from her arm on his knees making the other's laugh. Eren moving around to try and pull Armin off from behind making Mikasa kick Connie foot to wake him and get him moving off.

"Don't worry Mikasa, I'll be right here if you fall" Jean spoke up, a hopeful look on his face as he held his arms 

"Desperate" Sasha coughed out behind Jean who snapped his head around glaring. 

"Shut it potato girl" Jean hissed back before turning back to Mikasa, giving dreamy eyes once again. 

"Dude, take Armin offer and just make her pity you into a kiss. It's all you'll ever get from her" Ymir sighed, earning Christa to elbow her ribs.

"Don't be mean, they're both our friends" Christa huffed back, her hands on his hips as Ymir rolled her eyes.

"Are you sure you two don't need a hand" Marco asked with worry as he watched Eren try pulling Armin away, his arms wrapping around the blonde stomach and yanking as much as he could. 

"Armin! For god shake wake up .. we're not children anymore!" Eren yelled back, this wasn't the first time that Armin clung to him or Mikasa while he was sleeping and it was getting embarrassing and stressful. 

Armin just snored masking Eren let out a defeated sigh before looking to Mikasa. 

"I'll burn all your books, including your favourite one first" Mikasa threatened without a second thought, placing her free hand on her hips as she tried pulling her free arm from Armin but having no luck either.

"WHAT! YOU CAN'T MIKASA" Armin cried out, his eyes snapping open like he just had the worse nightmare of his life. His arms snapping away from Mikasa with a bit of force making her stumble back, catching on Jean cape he left laying on the cart still and following backwards. 

Eren and Armin leaping forward to try and catch her only to trip with the cape as well and falling over as well. Mikasa closed her eyes, ready for the rough landing coming her way before she felt arms around her waste, pulling her to the side and keeping her on her feet. Armin and Eren falling straight off the cart and right on top of Jean who's face filled with horror of missing his chance on catching Mikasa. 

"Ow" Eren groaned, rubbing his chin where Jean slapped it during the fall. 

"Ouch" Armin moaned in pain, rubbing the back of his head as turned while falling to try and protect his head a little only to have Jean head-butt him in the landing. 

"GET OFF ME!" Jean screamed at the two as he was crushed under them.

"Are you all right?" Christa asked with worry, looking to the three of the ground.

"He had it coming, he was hoping to catch mikasa and you a cheesy flirt line over her falling for him. If not, he was hoping Mikasa would see him as the hero and suddenly love him" Ymir huffed back as she crossed her arms, looking at the tangled three. 

"He's more of an idiot than Eren is with titans" Reiner commented with Ymir nodding in agreement. 

"Are you okay?, Mik-" Marco started to asked with concern, turning back to the cart and freezing as he saw Levi standing on the hatch, an arm around Mikasa back as the other held her wrist, using his own body to help steady her.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks Captain" Mikasa muttered back a little surprised to see Levi, let along have him save her from a nasty fall or worse landing in Jean arms.  

"Tsk, you should be more careful" Levi mumbled back, removing his arms from Mikasa before jumping down, Mikasa hopping down after him with a slight frown. 

"Oh man, did you see his face as Mikasa fell" Connie laughed, Levi glare landing towards him before he stopped as he noticed Connie was looking at Jean and not him. 

"You looked so hopeful, it's like a puppy thinking he's gained a treat only to be thrown outside" Sasha grinned, laughing hard with Connie as Jean glared to them. 

Mikasa held her hand out, ready to help Eren up as he sat to the side now, seeming fine and ready to stand while forgetting the fall ever happened. Eren gave a thankful look before taking her hand, standing up with her help and stumbling forward as he forgot Mikasa was a bit stronger.

"You okay?" Mikasa asked as she helped to steady Eren. 

"Yeah, forgot you can lift me on your own for a second there" Eren grinned, an embarrassed blush over his cheeks as he rubbed the back of his neck. 

"Yikes Jean, couldn't you become a better landing pad" Armin frowned as he kneeled, ready to stand up and Eren offered his hand to help his friend to stand. 

Mikasa was about to help Jean while the other's were still laughing or teasing him. They were here for a reason and making themselves look bad before the other soldiers and Captains. She was stopped as Levi hand ruffled her hair, making her turn to him as he turned his head away, hiding his expression. She lifted her eyebrow, about to ask when he removed his hand and walked away. Moblit helping Jean up why she got distracted by Levi. 

"I wonder what that was for?" Mikasa thought to herself, her eyes lingering on Levi retreating back before she turned back to Jean who grabbed his cape from the cart, feeling rather stupid and embarrassed over the whole thing.
