Tuesday ended without Mikasa seeing Levi anymore but she could live with that, she got her main answer and could over looking the strange bugging feeling of needing to know if he was going to marry some random girl or not. 

Wednesday, it was tough  day in training but she planned to sneak out of the barracks and go visit Levi. She was doing well, climbing out of the window beside the bunk beds and walking along the path to leave the area of the soldiers barracks. She didn't get five minutes before being sniffed out by Mike. He was such a sniffing snitch, walking her back towards her own barracks before waiting a good hour to make sure she won't try sneaking out again. 

Thursday was even harsher, everyone felt sore and tied by the end of the day. All just collapsing on their beds, well .. not everyone even reached their beds. Sasha, Connie and Ymir bodies were still somewhere within the camp where they just couldn't walk anymore. Mikasa didn't even try to sneak out and see Levi .. she just let sleep take over why it could. 

Now, it was Friday and it was torture. A whole day stuck in a classroom with a soldier they didn't meet before today. Seems she was called Lynne and she would be teaching them the basics when Hanji wasn't teaching them over titans. 

They gathered that Dieter was more of their teacher when it came to the horses and that Luke was more Odm gear training. Hand to hand combat was looked over by a guy name mosses, he was a mummy boy at heart.

They also had titan fighting 'class' that was just more odm gear training in the woods but with the wooden titans being moved and turned without warning, that was done with a soldier known as Darius Bear Walbrunn who'll they be mostly looked after by outside of the walls.

Seems Darius and Dieter would be the two in charge of the new recruits during their first expedition and in charge of them inside the wall as well. They'll be the first two called if the new recuts got into any trouble inside the camp. Sure, if one of them over stepped and needed punishment, they'll have a captain hunt them down or be sent straight to the commander. 

But Friday, there last day before they're given the weekend to think over their future in the Survey corps. They would have until Sunday evening to ask for a transfer otherwise by Monday, they'll be labelled and full fledge soldiers under Commander Erwin. Of course, even if no one placed in a transformer by the deadline on Sunday, they'll all still be called into Erwin office an hour before the deadline. He'll give them a huge speech, warning them over the dangerous and tough training ahead of them before asking if anyone wants a transfer. If anyone did, they'll step forward by those who stay in line would sign the form to be a soldier in the Survey Crops and gain a pay check each month. 

But today, Friday was killing them. Learning over instructions given in an expeditions, learning about the flairs and different positions. Even Armin was finding it draining and he was normally the one up for learning all type of knowledge. But here he sat, beside Mikasa, ready to sleep. It was a shocker, the rest of the class was all lazing around as they listened, fighting to stay awake and take in everything told to them but Armin .. he already yawned a couple times. This was a strange side to see and just made everyone know that the day full of class was boring if it got Armin to almost fall asleep. 

But they were all released from the hell just two hours before the dinning hall opened up for dinner. It was strange that dinner was from 6-8pm, it seemed late yet not as late as one would expect. Seems like Captains didn't actually get to eat under the later of the dinner hours making it sometimes open until Nine the night before an expeditions due to the captains have to check everything over. 

"Freedom!" Sasha cried out like she was just saved by an angel, not even rushing to the door and choosing to jump out of the window without warning. 

"We can finally escape!" Connie cheered out, hopping out of the same window after Sasha, both of them running to get as much distance from the building as they could. 

"Sasha! Connie! Get back here! You're making a ruckus and we're don't have the will right now to pin you both down" Marco yelled out like a mother, standing by another window that opened a little.  

"It's a good thing we're on the first floor otherwise we would've had to scape them on the path outside" Ymir commented as she popped her head out, patting the bush around the walls.

"I don't know how they have so much energy. My brain is still progressing everything" Christa frowned, placing a hand on her forehead as she felt like her brain my explode. 

"Yeah, I might have to borrow someone notes to catch up" Reiner sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I know the feeling, I don't know how Lynne could carry on talking for as long as she did. Wait, do we call her by name or as miss or as teacher? I mean, we'll be soldiers on equal footing next week but she's teaching us .. do we call the other's as teacher as well?" Jean mumbled before a thought hit him and he started looking around to the others as they headed out of the class. 

"We call them by rank or by name, no miss, sir or teacher. I already asked Luke yesterday when we were ... whatever .. my brain hurts" Armin asked, his arms hanging out in front of him like they were led. 

"Let's just get out of this building and find a place to rest before we head out to eat once the hall opens. I'm sure it's just being trapped in this building that has us all a little down" Mikasa replied, opening the doors and keeping them open as the other's all stumbled out, giving small thanks as they passed her. 

They all wobbled out, most of them stopping once they were on the main path, stretching without mercy after sitting for so long. Armin rubbing his temple to help sooth his brain as it was catching up with him again. Eren and Jean starting an argument after Jean bumped Eren back with his hand when they were stretching out. Reiner deciding to go for a jog to try and loosen up his body a little and unstiffen it. 

"Just remember, it's only going to get worse after the weekend" Ymir reminded, souring the mood even more.

"But at least we'll be able to take it all out on the Titans" Marco weakly joked making them all nod a little as they started walking, planning to find a grass area of one of the free benches to sit on. 

"Time I'm through with them all, there won't be a single left for you to kill" Eren proudly spoke, placing his fist against his heart why the other's sighed.

"Couldn't you do your angry titan rant later when we don't all just want to drop dead" Jean whined back, rubbing his neck.

"Yeah, can we just enjoy the peace for a bit. My ears as sore" Christa sighed, rubbing her ears as she really didn't want to listen to any other rant for the rest of the day.

"Let's be thankful that we have the next two days to rest. We won't get many days off once Monday comes and we'll be treated as real soldiers. Let's enjoy our time off why we can" Armin smiled kindly, the other's nodding in agreement. 

"Yep, two whole days to trap a certain shorty and gain the needed answers" Mikasa muttered under her breath, completely determined to find out if the marriage rumour was true or not. She'll be off duty and fully papered to corner Levi if she needed to. 

"Mikasa, you're looking like you're about to kill someone" Armin warned as he looked to his friend who was giving the perfect image of an evil village about to end the world.

"Is that bad?" Mikasa asked unsure and Armin nodded.

"Very bad, you won't get anywhere on your rumour hunting if you scare everyone away" Armin explained and Mikasa gave a defaulted nod.

"You could just ask Captain Hanji, she's already nutty enough to test Captain Levi limits. Won't she know what's true or not and won't run from you while you look like an evil witch about to curse us all" Eren replied innocently, all of them coming to a stop as they stared to him since none of them thought about that.

Mikasa and Armin sharing a great low blow over Eren being the one to point out a back up plan that might work better than any idea they came up with.

"H-He is a-actually r-r-rig- I can't even say it" Armin stuttered out as he stared at Eren who came to a stop after noting the group wasn't walking with him anymore.

"He my be right" Ymir said for Armin who just weakly nodded.

"Oh god, it might be the end of the world" Jean spurted out in horror. 

"We really might die by the titans hand" Christa whimpered in fear.

"Hey! I'm not that bad .. right Mika-Mikasa!" Eren started to whine back, turning to his other friend before yelling out as Mikasa was fading away. 

"Hang on Mikasa, it's not time to die yet .. we need you to save us from the Titans" Marco cried out, shaking Mikasa before her soul fully floated away. 

"C-Can't I just beat it out of him" Mikasa asked desperately, the others finally knowing she was breaking and ready for death thanks to Eren thinking smart for once.

"We'll get Reiner to help pin the captain down and you can hit him as much as you want. Just don't go into the light" Armin promised as he placed a hand on Mikasa shoulder, sharing the same pain over being outsmarted by eren.

"You can even have a couple of practice hits on Eren" Jean offered as Eren snapped his head towards him glaring. 

"Yeah, we'll hold him down for you. It could be counted as training for facing a titan, he'll learn to feel no pain if a titan grabs him after dealing with your hits" Ymir agreed, popping up behind Eren and placing her hands on his shoulders.

"Oi" Eren huffed out, glaring towards Ymir who shrugged.

"I'll keep watch, If I don't see it than I don't have to worry over lying about it" Christa smiled with care, ready to walk ahead as Eren mouth dropped open.

"Any last words for your mother" March asked like a priest making sweat form on eren forehead.

"Don't worry Eren, I won't hit you" Mikasa sighed as she noticed how scared he started to get.

"It's still an idea though, if you don't find Captain Levi tonight than you can just attack Eren and use him as a stress free punching bag" Armin smiled as they all started walking again, Eren feeling betrayed over his friend comment. 

"Yikes, if this is how it feels to be smart just leave me to my angry titan rants" Eren grumbled back making the other's laugh.

Within Erwin Office...

Erwin sat behind his desk, looking through some of his paper work that was mostly due the next day. Hanji sitting on the sofa within his office, a goofy look on her face like he just allowed her to keep an abnormal titan. Mike sitting on the chair opposite his desk, a silly grin on his lips and he kept tapping his foot in the air. Than Levi, he stood by the bookcase with his arms crossed and he seemed unbothered but since he hasn't given a single insult over being pulled into his office without any real reason .. Erwin didn't trust the good mood. 

"Did something happen?, you three seem oddly happy and I don't like it" Erwin finally spoke, he could handle Hanji mad titan love ways, he could handle when Mike was in a random good mood and he could handle Levi silent treatment but he couldn't handle all three of them being strange at once. It wasn't right, something clearly happened or done and it scared him more than any titan. 

"Oh come on, Erwin. You already know why we're in such a good mood, I just can't believe you hid it from us" Hanji grinned back, crossing her leg left over her right and leaning her head back a little.

"I have no clue what you're talking about, any action done by me within the past week wouldn't have made all three of you in a good mood while together. It's dangerous whenever all three of you are happy and together" Erwin replied, still a little tensed but trying his best to stay calm. 

"The new recruits, nothing sparked your interest?" Levi asked with a raised eyebrow, Erwin was coy but he wouldn't play around with this for long. Sure, he may have stayed silent to mess with them and see their reactions later after seeing Mikasa but the gig was up. 

"The new recruits, are they that bad?" Erwin sighed, pinching the tip of his nose as he couldn't deal with badly skilled soldiers so close to an upcoming expeditions. 

Hanji sent a look to Levi who shrugged while Mike stared at Erwin before looking around his desk. Picking up a small pile of folders that belonged to the new recruits, Mike stood up, placing the pile of files on the coffee table for the other's to see.

"You didn't go through them, didn't you at least stand creepy in a window to check them over?" Hanji replied surprised, turning to Erwin and leaning forward on the sofa. 

"No, I don't look at new recruits files until after the transfer day has passed. It stops me from learning over soldiers that may transfer out after the first week is up. I always wait until the Sunday, look them over in person as they stand in my office and than I'll read their file once they sign up" Erwin explained as he leaned back in his chair, feeling all three of his captains staring at him.

"So, you have no clue over the recruits that arrived?" Levi asked making sure he heard it all right.

"Not a single clue, I'll find out on Sunday on who they are and what ones will stay with us. Why? Did I miss something good over them?" Erwin asked as he looked towards Levi, Hanji chuckling a little as Mike stood amused.

"You are going to find something purely great, trust me on that one" Levi answered with a smirk on his lips, uncrossing his arms. 

"They must be good to get your approval so easy" Erwin joked, shaking his head amused as he went back to his paperwork.

"Oh no, I agree with Levi on this. You're going to be left breathless" Hanji grinned cheekily, Mike nodding in agreement. 

"Why do I feel like I'm going to have a real good year or I'm going to want to jump into a Titan mouth by the end of the month" Erwin sighed, rubbing his temple as he was worried what trouble the other three knew about. 

"Well, time to eat" Hanji smiled brightly as Mike nodding towards the cloak.

"Come on and no trying to get a peek at the new recruits" Levi smirked, walking towards the door as Erwin stood up. 

The four soon reached the hall, Levi glancing to the table where he's took notice of Mikasa and her friends sat during each meal. He frowned as he noticed it already empty and he wondered if they ate as soon as the doors opened or were they going to come just before it closed. Shaking his head a little as he focused on getting his own tray of food with the others.

Hanji talking their ear off like normal, Erwin adding his own comments or own story over some matters. Mike just eating happily and Levi couldn't help but glance towards the corner table, just missing seeing Mikasa eat, he wasn't a stalker but it was nice watching her when he ate. To know she was actually there, that she was eating and didn't seem sick or hurt. It was his bit of comfort before bed. 

Once they finished eating, almost all of them agreed on an early night. Once Monday came, they'll have a full number of soldiers joining or joint to the Survey Corps. Any soldiers who transfer on Monday would go through the long training week as Mikasa did but without having the weekend off to think over transforming. Next week end would be rather unforgettable for any new recruits, it would be the day they get told over going on their first expeditions. 

They would have harsh training day after day to get them ready to face a titan, to get use on how to use their gear in open areas and how they'll have to become once with their horse outside of the walls. They'll be forced into becoming a surviving soldier and if not, they'll be one of the first lost to die. 

Levi wasn't worried, he knew Mikasa could handle herself and her friends seemed able to hold their own. But still, it would be the first time they leave the walls and the feeling of being free takes over anyone during their first expeditions. They would face with being free while also learning the fear of facing a real titan in the flesh, not one from stories told to them as children or ones from books they learn over but a real living titan trying to eat them. 

It would be a wake call for anyone.

Levi didn't give much notice as Hanji left the group, sneaking off to find Moblit who should be cleaning up the last of the paperwork in her office. It was Friday meaning it was date night, well date night in the camp at least for the two.

Mike and Erwin bidding a goodnight before entering their own rooms while Levi carried walking on to reach his own room. He rubbed the back of his neck, his bones were starting to feel stiff from not being able to move much today. He was stuck mostly in his office doing paper work after paper work .. at least all of it was done .. for this week at least. He also had to deal with his squad talking his ear off.

It seemed Gunther and Eld, normally the best of friends and almost brothers from their bond together, the two were at each other throats. It started from an off sided comment over Eld girlfriend making Eld react by saying something over Gunther grandmother. It started a mini war over them and that started an argument between Petra and Oruo who saw the fight differently. Of course, Petra and Oruo often disagreed, they were childhood friends and knew each other well but they always thought they were right and the other was wrong. 

Levi had never more wanted for Titans to just attack the camp, his whole squad was giving him a headache and he was sure they were children not soldiers most days. 

Entering his room, coming to a stop as he noticed his window open and he never left it open. Glancing around his room, not seeing anything touched or moved making him calm down a bit before closing the door. He took his jacket off, placing it on the back of his chair before heading towards the corner beside his wardrobe.

"So, this is where you hid it" Mikasa mumbled as she leaned beside the hook, now understanding where he kept the cape all this time.

"Nope, use it for my own cape" Levi lied without missing a beat, missing as Mikasa raised an unconvinced eyebrow while he opened his wardrobe door. 

"Your cape is literally hanging on a hook on the wardrobe door and your spare cape is neatly folded in your drawlers" Mikasa replied back, pushing from the wall and popping her head around the doorway like a curios child. 

"You went through my stuff?" Levi asked with a sigh, glancing to her and tensing as she shook her head.

"I actually had no clue, just making a guess but I knew you won't just leave your own cape in the open to collect dust since you only wear it during an expedition" Mikasa answered with a shrug, stepping back as Levi closed the door once more. 

"You should get some sleep" Levi sighed as he walked back towards the desk, picking his jacket up as he forgot someone in his office, his tea tin. The one in his room was empty after all his nightly cup of tea. 

"I have tomorrow off and I came to question you" Mikasa muttered back, watching as Levi placed his jacket on.

"Question me? I don't really enjoy the thought of that, not after all the other questions you shot at me as a child" Levi replied with a frown, opening his door as he got ready to head out to his office.

"I'll let you question me back" Mikasa offered as she walked across his room towards his door, ready to head out with him.

"Can we leave the questioning until tomorrow?" Levi asked a little hopeful, closing his door once Mikasa stepped out. 

"Can I stay with you a little longer?" Mikasa asked back and Levi glanced to her before nodding.

"Questions can wait" Mikasa answered and Levi just rolled his eyes over childish she was sometimes.
