Sommer's POV:
"Yeah!!!! I can finally get out of this prison,"I say to the kids in detention. They all laugh and walk out of the room. I smile to myself and grab my stuff to go meet up with my best friends Kylie and Karli. I run to my my white truck, literally jumping to get to the seat because of the massive lift kit. Ya, it's probably very unprofessional driving around this truck but I love it... It's my baby so people will have to deal with it. I'm not much for traditional boss material and my staff is ok with it. As I arrive at the little cafe that I'm meeting my friends in I change into my 'business attire' and walk in. They were waiting for me there with four boys that I didn't recognize... At first. I angrily walk over to them and Karli catches my stare. "Oh uh hey Sommer, you know Luke, Ashton, Calum, and Michael, right?"Karli asks innocently. "And just when I was having a good day,"I mutter and Kylie stomps on my foot with a glare as she flirts with Calum. I hate 5sos and they know that but they still want me to be their manager. Agggghhhhh. "Yes, I know them,"I say rolling my eyes. Kylie huffs clearly annoyed with me. I can't help but chuckle. Karli crosses her arms tapping her foot at me. "What?"I ask exasperated. "Did you know that Sommer manages bands?"Karli says finally to the boys. They shake their heads looking me over in silence. "Ya I am, I don't see why it matters,"I say as a waitress comes up to us. "I'll have the usual,"I say nodding at the girl as she takes my order. She nods back and goes to get out drinks. They all look at me in curiosity except for Karli and Kylie. "It matters because they need a new manager,"Kylie smirks. "and I should care because?..." I ask tapping my foot along with the music in the cafe. "Well..."Karli starts to say but she stops, staring curiously behind me. Someone taps my shoulder and I turn around only to be facing Jesse Rutherford lead singer of The Neighbourhood also known as my best friend. "Hey,"I smile getting up to hug him. "Hey,"He smiles back kissing my forehead. "I missed you,"I say squeezing him tighter. I notice 5sos staring in awe. "I missed you too,"Jesse says I let go of him to introduce him to everyone. "Everybody this is Jesse Rutherford the lead singer of The Neighbourhood and Jesse this is 5sos and my friends Karli and Kylie,"I say still looking at Jesse. He acknowledged them but then turned back to me. "We have so much to talk about,"Jesse says excitedly to me. "How about we go to The Hideout tomorrow and talk,"I say holding his hand so that he would sit next to me. "Sounds like a plan,"He says tightening his grip on my hand. "Um are you two dating,"Luke speaks up trying to shake Karli off of him. "No, we're just really good friends,"I tell Luke relaxing my head on Jesse's shoulder. "Oh ok,"Luke says seeming to relax a little bit. "So what's going on here?" Jesse asks smiling. "Well my friends here are obsessed over 5 Seconds of Summer and want me to be their manager,"I say crossing my arms and leaning back into my seat. Jesse chuckles lightly. "But don't you hate 5sos?"He asks still laughing. "Ya I do...it's nothing personal but with these two talking about you guys all the time and listening to your songs over and over it gets annoying and you learn to hate it,"I say matter of factly. Kylie and Karli blush in embarrassment while the boys burst out laughing. The waitress brings back our drinks and I take a sip of my sugary, sweet coffee. "What's so funny?"I ask bluntly. "You're just so open and no one is really that open with us,"Michael says. "Plus your funny,"Luke adds. I look at them confused but then I sit back up. "Ok listen I'm sorry that these two dragged you out here but you really don't want me as your manager,"I say trying to sound like I mean business. "Why?"Ashton asks. "Ya why wouldn't they won't you... You're tons of fun and you get things done at the same time,"Jesse says and I shake my head at him warning him not to say anything about our past parties and trouble making. The boys smile. "We've heard about you and the girls didn't come to us we came to them and they were just excited enough to take us to you,"Calum says while having his arm around Kylie's shoulder. "We want you as our manager, Sommer,"Luke says smiling brightly.i nod. "I'm only going to do this because it's great opportunity for me to get into my old way of things,"I smirk pulling out a contract from my bag. "Um I don't know if I like that,"Jesse says in a worried tone. "Oh don't worry... I'm older now I know when enough is enough,"I say rubbing his shoulder so he won't worry. He sighs and watches the boys read the contract. "That looks a lot like our old contract,"Jesse finally says. "Ya... I tweaked some of it but it's basically the same and I like that way,"I say while drinking some more of my coffee and ordering a Reese's peanut butter cake. The girls wink at me excitedly but I could still see a murderous glint in their eyes because of what I said earlier. I laugh a little to myself. "Ok you got a deal,"They say in sync. I nod and put out my hand for everyone to shake. "Great,"I smile but sigh at the same time. This is going to be "fun".
