Crushed Hearts is a mxm, college, friends-to-lovers, sports romance between two boys at Riverview University who are both bisexual (yay for bisexual representation). Beckett teaches Emery how to be confident, and Emery teaches Beckett how to commit to a long relationship.

There is a problem: Beckett is the same guy who beat Emery's track record at school, which brings up mixed feelings from Emery, who considers getting back on the track team despite wanting to be an English professor and being on ADHD medication, which is one of the reasons why he had to leave the team. Turns out, Beckett is not who Emery thought he is (which leads to some judgmental thoughts/opinions from Emery as the rich kid and heir to a highly successful exotic car transport company), and discovers that it's crucial for Beckett to keep on winning at track, as it plays a huge role in shaping his future. And along the way, Emery finds there's a softer, vulnerable side to Beckett under all that confidence. Just a sweet, golden retriever waiting to jump out and be the best boy to the right person.

As the story progresses and the two boys bring the deal into action, jealousy arises from Emery when he watches Beckett being cozy with Taya or is around the two in general. Emery questions his feelings and tries to figure out why he feels that way. Especially when he and Sloane end up worse than simply not working out the way he wanted it to.

This engaging, beautiful, unforgettable story about two boys navigating college life, at-home problems, annoying siblings, and discovering about each other's lives and accepting them will have you fall in love with the characters and the story itself.
