Bakugo stared at you after you finished your story trying to process all of it.

"I... "

He started.

"I... I've made a lot of mistakes in the past."

You looked at him as he continued to speak.

"I might not have killed anyone but...I've 'killed' more than just lives...putting everything on the line. I've hurt people in ways I thought I never would."

He looked at you.

"But I had people who understood me. helped me carry my burden....and stayed despite everything. That's why I understand. the weight of your sins. I'll help you carry it." 

You looked at him and he stared back at you.

"You don't have to bear it alone anymore. I'll be with you until you learn to forgive yourself."

He said. you started crying and covered your eyes.

Ahh...oh nonono s-s-s-she's crying. I made her cry. AAAA---

He thought.

He didn't hate me.

He reached out to you and patted your head. You leaned into him. He freaked out trying to process the situation. He didn't know how to comfort crying people especially if it's a girl.

The school bell rang. Students were chattering. Shoto stretched.

"I can't stand that teacher. Finally class is over! Let's go to that new cold soba shop across the street."

You looked down.

"Todoroki...I need to tell you something important."

He looked at you.

"About your brother...I-- Ah no- Not your brother...I mean his soulmate...I...I killed them."

"I know."

He looked at you. You stared back at him in shock.

"I was there."
