"Y...You are alive? It can't be," she said, her voice quivering.

"I am," came the reply from the man holding the gun to my head.

"But how? You committed suicide, " she whispered.

"No, I made up a story to get out of jail. Bribed a few policemen here and there, chalked out a plan, staged my own death," he gave a chilling laugh.

"You are not a human being, You are a beast," I spoke up, ignoring the deadly weapon at my head.

"Jason, Please don't do it. Let him go. It's been five years. You know you cannot own me," Rose pleaded.

"But I can destroy him, and get my revenge," he replied coldly,"Rose come here. To the edge of the mountain."

"NO!!" I screamed even as Rosella, with her hands tied behind her back moved towards the edge.

"Stop whining," he barked, "Rose, jump."

Rose didn't know swimming. With her voluminous wedding dress it was a nightmare to swim. The monstrous depths of the Yenisei River were a death trap. That was what he wanted. He wanted her dead.

"Rose, No. You know he will kill me either way. You jumping off the cliff will do no good," I tried to convince her.

"Dmitriy, there is death either way. But if there could be a way to save you, Then I will try to the end," she looked away, "This is not your fight."

"Jump!"
Jason fired a shot in the air.

Rose moved towards the gorge, as if in a trance.

All my pleadings were in vain.

"See you in the land of death, I will love you always," she said, freezing me in place .

"No, Rose listen...."

She jumped and all I could hear was a frightened scream......
