Meeting Everyone

Just like I figured, I awoke to the loud sound of my dad's voice. .and Bumblebee's, Sam's, and Leo's. With a groan, I sat up in bed and yanked the comforter off of my body. After throwing my hair into a messy bun, I got up and headed for the door.
"Where's my daughter?" my dad yelled. I rolled my eyes. If Kaelyn wasn't already awake, she would be soon enough.
I walked over to the stair case and stood at the top, staring down at my dad and the small group of males which consisted of not only my dad, Sam, Leo, and Bumblebee, but also Ratchet, Dino, and Optimus's holoforms. Wonder where Sideswipe and the Wreckers were. . .
"Is this what you're looking for?" I called down to them. He turned his head and looked at me, his eyes brightening ever so slightly. He ran up the stairs and nearly tackled me in a hug, causing the soreness to return. "Easy. I'm still sore."
He immediately pulled away and looked at me. "Why would you be sore?" he asked, his eyes shifting down to my small stomach; I figured that Sam or Leo would've told him, but I guess not. He looked back up at me and pulled me into an even tighter hug. "Where is she? Where's my granddaughter?"
I laughed and pulled away. "I have no clue. She's either in her room or in the living room with Mikaela, Adalyn, and Ironhide. Knowing them, that's probably where they all are," I answered him as I pulled him down the stairs with me.
The group of men and holoforms had already disappeared into the living room and I quickly dragged my father in with me. It was a good thing my living room was big enough to handle all of these people or I probably would have had a panic attack. I wasn't really paying attention to where everyone was at the moment. The only thing I knew was that Adalyn was laying on the couch with her feet sprawled across Ironhide's lap and she held Kaelyn closely to her body. I raised a brow.
"Having fun?" I asked as I looked down at her from the back of the couch.
She smiled and I heard a grunt. "She's been this way since about nine o'clock this morning," Ironhide grumbled. I just chuckled and shook my head before reaching down to get Kaelyn from Adalyn who, surprisingly, let me take her; had she not, I probably would have slapped her.
Kaelyn was wide awake this morning and there was just the faintest little smile on her face as she looked at me, something of which caused me to smile widely. I placed a kiss onto her forehead before handing her off to my ever-so-eager father. He almost looked ready to cry at the sight of her and I giggled before turning back to Adalyn and Ironhide who were bantering, of course.
"Get your revolting limbs off of me," he grumbled as he kept trying to push her feet off of his lap. She only laughed and continued pestering him with them.
"What are you gonna do about it, punk?" she baited as she tapped her feet on his lap. He growled and stood up quickly before yanking her over his shoulder. She squealed and tried to get loose, but there was no use. I just watched as he carried her through the house and disappeared down the hallway. This wasn't going to end well. .
Without a word, I sat down on the now vacant couch and my dad sat down beside me, Kaelyn still in his arms. I looked over at the many bodies in front of me and smiled. "It's so nice to see you guys. I've missed you," I greeted the Autobots.
"It's a pleasure to see you, Azalea, as well as it is a pleasure to finally meet the sparkling," Optimus replied. I smiled.
"Yes, you wouldn't mind if I were to run a few tests on her would you? I need to make sure she's healthy. Regular human tests won't do much good for her," Ratchet said to me.
I chuckled. "Of course. I expected nothing less, Ratchet. Would you guys like to hold her?"
Bumblebee was the first to jump up. "I'm first. I've called it. I've been waiting a stellar-cycle to meet this strange little thing."
"I have no clue what a stellar-cycle is, but oh well. Be gentle though. She's just as much human as I am," I told him. He nodded and my dad held the happy child out to Bumblebee's holoform. He smiled happily and took her, much the same way Ironhide had last night.
"Wow, she's beautiful. She doesn't look like you at all," he exclaimed.
I scoffed. "Thank you for that clarification, Bee. It means so much to me."
He soon realized what he said and looked up at me. "I didn't mean it like that. I'm sorry."
"Duly noted," I responded.
The sound of a squeal and a loud laugh in the hallway tore my attention away from the two of them and stood up. I strolled into the hallway and stopped when I saw Adalyn on the floor. Ironhide stood behind her a smug smile on his face. Both of them were absolutely soaked with water and I could only assume they took a little detour in the pool.
"Did you just fucking push me?" Adalyn yelled as she looked up at Hide from the floor.
He shrugged. "It's purely a matter of perspective. To me, you just simply fell."
She groaned and attempted to get up but slid back down. I had to put a hand over my mouth to keep from laughing. "What the hell happened to you two?" They both looked at me this time.
"He threw me into the fucking pool and it's like forty degrees outside," Adalyn answered me.
"Maybe you should have listened to me," Ironhide retorted.
"Bite me, you jack ass."
I shook my head and walked over to help Adalyn off the floor. "That still doesn't explain why Ironhide is wet," I stated.
He grunted and Adalyn laughed. "That's because I got out and I tackled him into the pool," she told me.
"You tackled Ironhide?" I asked, clearly surprised that such a thing was possible for a small human like her.
"Yes. It's the greatest thing I've ever accomplished," she responded.
"She simply caught me off guard," Ironhide retorted.
"I call bullshit! That's what you get for teaching me how to be a damn brute," Adalyn countered.
I chuckled. "I'd advise you both to get your wet asses off of my floors and go change into something dry," I told them.
Adalyn groaned. "Had he not threw me in the first place, I wouldn't need to do so."
"Maybe next time you'll think before being an insubordinate glitch," Hide countered.
My eyes widened in surprise. "Whoa there. Go upstairs, get cleaned up and then come back down here and clean your mess up," I instructed the two of them.
Hide grunted. "I'm not a maid."
I just rolled my eyes. "Just go!"
"Yes, mom," Adalyn mocked as she quickly, but carefully, ran down the hallway and up the stairs. Ironhide followed closely behind her and I trekked back out into the living room again.
"Is everything alright, Lea?" Dino asked me.
I nodded and sat back down beside my dad. "Just Ironhide and Adalyn's normal antics."
He chuckled and I noticed that Kaelyn had managed to move from Bumblebee's arms into Optimus's. The sight of it was so cute. Actually, the sight of any of the Autobots with Kaelyn made me so incredibly happy. You could just tell that they weren't used to this kind of thing.
"How are you feeling today, Lea?" Sam asked me.
"I'm feeling better. I'm still sore, but that's understandable. I was told that it was going to be this way for about two weeks or so, but I'll get through it. How are you? Shouldn't you be at work or something?" I snickered.
"No. I'm on vacation. Why?" he retorted.
I shrugged. "I'm just wondering."
"Are you happy now, Azalea?" I heard Ironhide's voice boom behind me. I turned around to see that he was now dressed in a pair of blue jeans, a black v-neck shirt and black boots. His hair was still a little bit wet, but that was to be expected.
"Yes, but I still want that water off of my floor," I told him.
He grunted before walking away again. I could hear him mumbling quite a few Cybertronian curses under his breath, but I couldn't be worried about it. The situation was more amusing than anything else.
"You remind me so much of Sarah," my dad chuckled.
I smiled at him. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"Good and bad. You're already acting like a mom and even though you two aren't married, you're like a housewife. It's hilarious," he answered me.
"Well, I am a mom and we might as well be married anyway. I know I'm not going anywhere any time soon."
"Why don't you two get married though?" Leo spoke up.
"Well, first of all, I'm only twenty-one. Second of all, he's still Cybertronian and I'd rather not force my human customs on him. Plus, I'm perfectly fine with the way things are right now. I don't need a piece of paper to tell me that," I answered.
Bumblebee got up and sat down beside me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "You still are one of the most genuine human beings I've ever met. Maybe this is why we Cybertronians love you so much."
"Bumblebee couldn't be more than correct," Optimus chirped.
I smiled. "Thank you so much. I love you all just as much."
"I hope I fall within the category of all," a gruff voice spoke. Bumblebee quickly got up and ran over to sit beside Optimus while Ironhide sat down beside me.
I smiled and wrapped an arm around the front of his torso. "Of course you do." He didn't respond; he only kissed the top of my head.
"OTP!" Sam yelled from across the room.
I blinked. "What?"
"One true pair. That's what OTP means. You and Hide are my OTP," he explained. Damn, he was stupid.
"You know like those little fan girls say? It's always a trending topic on Twitter," Leo said. What in the actual fuck?
"So the two of you just sit around on Twitter all day and stalk little girls? If I'm correct, you can be considered pedophiles for doing that. I don't want to have to turn you two in," I retorted. My dad snickered and the two boys looked rather startled.
"What?" Sam started.
I sat up and held my hand up to him. "I'm asking you now as a friend to stop what you're doing. I love you guys, so I don't want to have to turn you in to the Feds. Just leave the little girls alone," I told him.
"Oh my god," Leo mumbled.
"It's quite a serious issue," I stated.
"Shut up. We get it. We'll stay off Twitter," Sam remarked.
I smiled. "Thank you. I appreciate it very much."
"Well, aside from all of Sam's social media paraphilia, I'm just happy you've given this grump something to care about. He's been a little bit nicer as of lately," Bee chirped.
Hide grunted and I snickered at the paraphilia piece, but answered him quickly. "I'm glad I could help."
"I believe it's time for some tests, don't you think?" Ratchet asked as he stood up.
I shrugged. "As long as you don't hurt my child, I'm fine with it."
"I admire your over-protectiveness, but I would never dream of harming such a lovely creature. I shall see you all in a cycle or so," Ratchet chimed as he gently removed Kaelyn from Optimus's arms.
He bade us one last goodbye before heading out the door and I nearly jumped as I realized something. "Does his alt-form even offer newborn restraint?"
Dino chuckled. "He took yours out of your vehicle."
I pulled an Ironhide and grunted. "That damn medic."
This caused a fit of laughter to erupt from the small crowd. Hopefully Uncle Ratchet enjoys his time with his little techno-organic niece. .
