Fairy stars shimmer,
Over my little head, a glow.
Tonight, she tells us the tale of rivers.
How they stretch beyond the moon's light.
How they flow through townships.
Men, women and children,
Fishermen, housewives and errand runners.
All gather at it's feet from dusk till dawn.
We're family, bounded by life.
Blood they say, is thicker than water.
