"Wake up sunshine" Mekai's deep voice filled my ears

"Mm-mm" I pulled the covers to my naked body and kept my eyes closed.

"Come on, I'm bored" his hand snaked around my waist and he pulled me to him. I felt his erection on my butt as he sucked on my neck

"I didn't entertain you enough last night?" I smirked with my back still to him

"You did" he kissed my exposed shoulder "You entertained me so much that I'm coming back for more"

"I can't be mad at that" I blushed "Can you grab me something to drink from the fridge first?"

"Aight" I felt him get up. Once he slipped on his boxers, I watched him walk out the room.

Soon as he left, I got up as quick as I could and headed into the bathroom. I wiped the blood from between my legs as quickly as possible, then proceeded to brush my teeth and wash my face. I slipped on his shirt and once I was done, I made my way out of the bathroom. I started pulling the sheets off the bed, trying to get rid of them as fast as I could.

"I got your-" Mekai entered the room "What you doing?"

"Just changing the sheets. It's not sanitary"

"Mhm" he sat the water down and walked over to me

"I got it" I tried to ball them up so he wouldn't see

He took them from me and opened them up "Either you came on your period or you were a virgin. So which one is it?"

I sighed "I was a virgin" No need in hiding it now

"Really Ky? How could you not tell me something like that?"

"I wasn't thinking about it at the moment"

"So it ain't dawn on you to tell me: "Hey, I'm a virgin, please be gentle with me"?" He squinted

"We enjoyed ourselves, why you so mad?"

"That's a big fucking deal! You know how much pressure it is being a girl's first?"

"Most guys would've loved it" I shrugged

"I'm not most guys!" I could see him growing frustrated "Dammit Kyla"

"What you're not gonna do is sit here and blame everything on me."

"Who else can I blame?! You the one that didn't say nothing" he got in my face

"Take me home" I said through gritted teeth

"Gladly" He said before walking out of the bedroom

I changed into my clothes and grabbed my phone. I had 5 missed calls from my dad, 3 from my mom, 1 from Laura, and two texts.

Calvin 😉: Good morning. We still on for our date tonight? -9:14am

I locked my phone, deciding to save my 10% of battery.

The whole car ride, everything was silent. The only talking we did was when I told him to drop me off at Laura's instead of my place.
  Once we pulled in front of Laura's house, I quickly got out the car and he quickly zoomed down the street.

"Jackass" I mumbled as I knocked on her door

A few seconds later, she opened it "You know you gotta fill me in"

"There's nothing to talk about" I shrugged "I just came by to grab my keys" I headed upstairs to her room

"Oh hell nah. You stay out all night, don't answer anyone's calls or texts, then come in here with no details. You ain't getting off that easy" she closed her bedroom door

"There's nothing to talk about" my eyes began watering

"What's wrong?" She hugged me

"I...We had sex"

She gasped "What'd he do? Did he hurt you? I'll get somebody to beat his ass I swe-"

"He didn't do anything wrong" I wiped my eyes. The only thing I hate more than crying is someone else seeing me cry

"Then what happened?" We sat on the edge of her bed together

"He found out I was a virgin" I rested my hands in my lap

"What's wrong with that?"

"He found out after we had sex" I sighed "Apparently he thinks it's a lot of pressure being a girl's first. I didn't know not telling him was wrong."

"Aw Ky" she hugged me again, hearing my voice crack

"I didn't expect my first time to turn into this shit"

"Everything's gonna be alright. I think y'all should talk about it, get to see things from each other's perspective."

"No offense, but I don't wanna hear what I should do right now." I said "I just wanna go home, take a nice warm bath, and sleep" I grabbed my keys from off of her dresser

"I understand" she nodded "Call me later"

"Ok" I grabbed my keys and left

Once I pulled up to my house, I grabbed my pullover from the back and slipped it on so it helped hide my hickie covered neck. Soon as I entered the house, my dad bombarded me with questions.

"Where were you?"

"I was at Laura's house, you know that" I said

"And you couldn't pick up your phone for me or your mother?" He got up from the couch

"Leave her alone" my mom said to him

"No because I don't believe her" he said "Now why didn't you answer the phone?"

"My phone had died and I went to sleep. If you don't believe me, I'm not gonna sit here and give you reasons why" I shrugged, going upstairs to my room

Even though I knew I wasn't telling the truth, I wasn't going to let him know that.

I began undressing, preparing to get in the bathtub. While I ran my bath water, I sent Calvin a text

Sorry, something came up. Rain check? -10:17am

Calvin 😉: Yeah sure -10:21am

"Kyla" my mom came in

"Yeah?" I asked from my bathroom

"Come out here for a second" I heard her close my bedroom door

I wrapped a towel around me and came into my bedroom.

"Do I know the boy?" she asked

"What boy?"

"Don't play stupid." She squinted at me "The boy that you were with yesterday, do I know him?"

"It was Mekai" I sighed

"Alright. Did y'all use protection?" she sat on my bed

"Mom-"

"Don't lie to me, I know that look...and that lil stiff walk you doing"

"Yes we used protection" talking about this is kind of strange, but I appreciate her wanting to know

"Good. Now there's one more thing I need to know" a serious look took over her face

"What's that?"

"Was it good?" She started smirking

"Oh my goodness" I sighed "Bye"

"I'm going, I'm going" she got up "Make sure your father doesn't see those" she pointed to my neck

"Ok, thanks"

"He tore your neck up" she shook her head "It must've been good"

"Byeeeee!" I held my towel as I pushed her out the room laughing

It was great, but then it turned bad.

Mekai

"Where were you all yesterday?" My mom asked

"Out" I hung up my coat

"And you didn't think to call and let your mother know that you weren't going to be home?"

I shrugged, going upstairs

"The coach called me" she followed "You've been suspended from the team?"

"Yeah, so what"

"Mekai, what's going on with you?"

"Nothing" I went in my room

"I looked in your pill bottle yesterday" she started "You've been skipping days"

"Can you get out my room? I'm trying to relax" I laid back on the bed

"Relax? You're trying to relax?!" She raised her voice "I wish I could do the same, but I can't! I'm sitting around worried about you 24/7"

"Stop worrying" I said carelessly

"Mekai if you don't take those pills, they're going to take-"

"Yeah I know. They're gonna take me away, whatever. Can you get out now?"

I heard her sigh before her footsteps led toward the door "You are all I got left, just know that" she said before leaving out

I pulled out my phone, pressing Lena's contact. She answered on the 2nd ring

"What you doing?" I asked into the phone
