-two weeks later

"You so crazy" I said as I entered the library

"Need me to take you home today?" Calvin asked over the phone

"I'll let you know. My car should be out of the shop by tomorrow, then I won't have to be so worrisome" I walked over to the table with Mekai and placed my books down

My dad recently brought me a car since he's been back home, but it's getting work done to it.

"Nah, I enjoy it. It's a plus for me because I get to spend more time around-" Mekai's finger pressed the end call button

"Why'd you do that, stupid?" I asked, taking my headphones out

"You loud as shit in the damn library" he emphasized on library

"I wasn't even that loud. Where's your work so we can get started?" I sent Calvin a text

Bad connection -2:13pm

"I finished all of it, check it so I can get out of here. I got better things to do" he tossed the papers on the table

He finished all of his work without me? Hm, good start.

"I got better shit to do too, but I'm here helping you." I shot back, not here for his attitude

"What you gotta do? Go tend to that nigga?"

A grin spread on my face "You're jealous"

"Jealous?" He scrunched up his face "You funny" he chuckled

"Yes. It's almost like I can smell it on you"

"If I wanted you, I could have you and you know it." He scooted his chair closer to mine and pulled me to him

"Let me go, you're hurting me" I tried to pull away from the grip he had on my forearm

"You and I both know that nigga can't compete with me. Stop acting dumb" he whispered in my ear

Goosebumps formed on my arm from his words. "Whatever. You're jealous, like I said" I yanked away from him

"Yeah, aight" he nodded "I gotta get to practice, I'll be by your house later to pick up my work" he placed a peck on my cheek before walking off

Mekai

"Come open yo door" I said into the phone

"What? Do you know what time it is?" Kyla's sleepy voice came through the other end

"Girl, come open this damn door." I said before hanging up

I waited outside her house about 5 minutes before she actually came and opened the door.

"Be quiet" she pulled me inside

We headed upstairs as quiet as possible. Once we reached her room, she gently closed and locked her bedroom door.

"What do you want?" she asked

"I told you I'd be by to pick up my work" I smirked

"Nigga it's one something in the morning. You could've just gotten it in school"

"Yeah, but I want it now" I pulled her to me, biting my bottom lip

"You smell like weed" she stated

"And you smell like toothpaste. You brushed before you opened the door, huh?"

"Boy" she smacked her lips "Get off of me"

I ignored her and started leaving small pecks on her lips.

"Kai, stop" she spoke through them

I reached up and gripped her throat, pulling her closer to me. "Shut up" I grumbled in her ear before engaging in a full blown kiss

My attraction to her grew quicker than I expected. Something about her personality just pulls me in and makes me want her. We're mean as shit to each other, but I like it.

We ended up making out on the bed for a few, she had finally stopped protesting and let things happen.

I watched him while his kisses descended down my body. His hands wasted no time slipping my sleeping shorts and underwear off.

"Wait, you got a condom?" I sat up on my elbows. Last time I asked him this, I didn't plan on having sex with him, things are different now

"We not going that far" his hands gripped my thighs, spreading them apart even more

"Yeah, where my papers at?" He stood straight up "Damn, you got my shirt wet" he finally noticed

"My bad" I said as I made my way to the bathroom in my room to clean myself off

After I fully got myself together, I handed Mekai his papers and walked him to the front door.

"Oh and one more thing" he said

"What's that?" I yawned, feeling myself grow sleepy

"Don't ever call me jealous again. You understand me?" He gripped my face with one hand

"Alriiiight." I sighed "Now go home before my parents wake up"

He pecked my lips one more time before heading out the door and walking to his car. After watching him pull off, I closed and locked the door.

"What you doing?" I jumped at the voice I heard from behind me

It was nobody but Camryn "I was just checking the doors. What you doing up, lil bit?"

"I want some water" she said

"Ok, come on" I grabbed her hand and we walked into the kitchen
