THIRD - ROUND - ENTRY

The theme of the third round was stuff of nightmares, but it is a competition after all. If it didn't tap into your worst fears, it wouldn't be much of a competition, would it?

Romance/teen fiction. But not any romance/teen fiction. The extreme cliche fused with heavy manipulation.

*insert distant screaming*

I've had a rough time coming up with the concept. So many stocks downloaded only to be lost in the downloads folder. RIP.

The gods of heavy photomanipulation smiled upon me, and gave me strength to make something decent.

Prom is something that screams teen fiction to me, so I decided to go in that direction. The couple stock I dug up didn't really match Emma Watson's face (since she is a rather skinny lady, and the model had really strong arms), and I was forced to cut down some of the muscle and move her shoulders forward a bit.

Originally I wanted Harry Styles to be featured, but I couldn't find a decent stock of his side profile. Because if we have to go cliche, we might as well go full cliche. So Niall stepped in.

There was a lot of smudging and painting involved, especially in the places where I had to patch up the dress. Hair was a bit of a pain that I brought onto myself when I adjust the arm, so I had to paint the whole thing. It actually doesn't look half bad, tho it could use a little more work.
