SECOND - ROUND - ENTRY

After successfully surviving the first round, it was time to move on another quest. And this one was formed almost like a Secret Santa, the role of chance played by our host.

General theme of the round was collaboration. We were paired up and each had to do a base and a finish. My chosen one was @itsnothardtodreamx , and these are our results.

For the base, I tried not to give my partner too much trouble. I tried not to cram it with too much stuff and give a sense of direction at the same time. Hortensia bushes in the background are my pride and joy, I think I did a good job with bush/fence interaction.

Cherry's finish is actually pretty close to what I imagined. The mysterious misty and slightly dark atmosphere with a touch of fantasia. It's as if Snow White met Alice in Wonderland, I'm getting that kind of vibes and I love every single detail of it. 

*insert applause and cheering*

In all honesty, when I got this base, I had zero idea what to do with it. It was already busier than I expected and I struggled a lot with coming up with something that would make a difference. In the end, I've decided to keep and enhance the blue and pink scheme. Main inspiration for the character's appearance came from Cyberpunk 2077. If you watched the trailer, you probably remember how V had lines coming down from his eyes, indicating that he probably had eye implants. And I think those look cool as fluff.

So, I tried to replicate that by drawing in some lines (softening them with eraser and then applying some slight glow and a bit of a inner shadow). The line on the trousers was drawn in a similar manner.

As for her clothes, that's probably the most complicated manipulation I've done so far. I've found a military style jacket with fancy buttons and I basically manipulated parts of it on her shirt so it resembles a jacket. Maybe I've reused that same stock for the circles on her trousers. And to make a belt.
