in which four hexside students find an enchanted and supposedly cursed key. intrigued and curious, they put it in the lock of the closest door and find themselves thrown into a different realm.

at the same time, a group of teenagers in the human realm come across a glowing door. they opened it, and were never seen again.

those humans got swapped with the the witches from hexside and are now helplessly trying to learn magic in an attempt to break the curse and make it get home. meanwhile, back in the human realm, our students are trying to figure out the very same while using their own magic to blend in with "ordinary" people.

well, at least it's not like things could get any worse... right?
