Operation: Save June Child, Things Have Taken a Turn for the Worse
Stiles eyed Theo as he strode back into June's room. Once he disappeared, he wasn't entirely sure what he should have his eyes on: the hellhound, the formerly dead chimeras, or Valack. His decision came quickly when he watched Theo return with June in tow. Stiles tensed when he saw Theo hold June with this tips of his claws at her throat.
"Back off," Theo warned Parrish, who growled lowly as he seemed to hesitate. Slowly, he started walking forward. Theo didn't seem to like that as he dug his claws slightly into June's skin. Stiles' stomach lurched at her gasp on pain, and his knuckles cracked when he saw the blood slowly drip. "I said, back off!"
Parrish didn't seem to want to listen to Theo as his eyes narrowed. Theo hardly noticed the beads of sweat that gathered on his forehead when he turned back to Corey and Josh. "Take him," He commanded.
"The - the guy's on fire," Corey whined.
"You'll heal, do it." No one moved for several seconds when suddenly Tracy dropped Valack and ran forward. Sinking her claws into Parrish's stomach, she smiled as she felt the venom leave her fingers. Her smile was quickly wiped off her face when she saw Parrish snarling down at her. With one sudden thrust of his hand, Tracy was sent flying into the wall, and crumpling to the floor in a motionless heap.
Josh was next to move, wrenching a pipe off the wall to expose the wiring underneath. Grabbing onto the wire, he felt the electricity course through him, and grasped tightly onto the hellhound's arm. He might as well have been grabbing onto rubber, for it did nothing to render him useless. He quickly yelled back to his alpha, "Theo, this isn't working!" before he was slammed against the wall, a head injury that would take him out for several moments.
Stiles was taken away from the fighting as he heard the sound of whirring, followed by a cry of pain. He watched as Valack drilled a hole into the back of Theo's leg, causing Theo to release his grip on June, and they both collapsed to the floor. For good measure, Valack slammed the drill against Theo's face.
"Sorry, Theo, but I'm not done with her yet." Valack enveloped June in his arms and with surprising agility, lifted her back onto her feet. Stiles knew he had to move, and it dawned on him that he was the last line of defense between Valack getting away with June and June's safety. Throwing himself into a standing position, he hurled his body into the threshold, coming face-to-face with the doctor and June.
He didn't want to, but his eyes flickered from Valack down to June. Bleeding more so than she already was, she was looking even worse than she had previously. Her eyes were blinking rapidly, and she couldn't seem to focus on Stiles, who was desperately trying to see if she could see him at all. Glancing back up at Valack, Stiles planted his feet, and set his mouth in a tight line.
In the split-second that their standoff occurred, Corey had latched onto Parrish. As Parrish lit him on fire, the scream of agony broke Stiles and Valack's stares and made them turn towards him. Parrish quickly flung Corey back, sending a smoldering teenager flying straight towards the three of them. Valack was the quickest to react, pulling June into safety and letting Corey fly directly into Stiles.
Theo, gripping onto his still-healing leg, pulled himself to his feet and faced the flaming deputy head-on. His eyes landed on a piece of pipe that Josh had previously pulled off of the wall. With near Olympian form, Theo threw the pipe directly at Parrish. With more than enough force, the pipe met its target of Parrish's abdomen. The flames died down around him as Parrish collapsed to the ground.
Theo turned around just in time to see Stiles flinging Corey off of him and quickly getting to his feet. Valack had succeeded in carrying June through a door and locking it from the other side just as Stiles arrived. He staggered back from the force of colliding with a stationary object, and stared at the locked door for a brief moment. For the second time that evening, Stiles felt like a complete failure. The self-pity was quickly tossed at the image of June in the hands of Valack, and Stiles began ramming the door with his shoulder.
"JUNE!" He cried out, hoping to receive a response. "JUNE!" He continuously slammed his palms against the door. "JUNE!" Stiles was so consumed by thoughts of June that he didn't even hear his best friend's tremendous roar from several hallways over. Nor did he hear Theo walk up behind him.
"Let me try," Theo barked, barely letting Stiles clear out before kicking the locked door in. Stiles didn't even offer so much as a thanks before sprinting through the doorway and down the hall. "You're not gonna find her without me," Theo called, but realized his taunt would be ignored unless he followed behind. Sighing, he jogged off in the direction Stiles had run off to.

Liam placed his hand on the empty doorway, only to come up short with the mountain ash barrier. Scott in the meantime, stared around at the unconscious security guards that had foolishly come after the two boys. Pulling out a keycard and a walkie, he brought the radio up and asked, "Does anyone have eyes on the closed unit? I need a status report."
"It's a war zone down here," Someone panted, clearly panicked.
"Uh, 10-4. And what about the patients, June Child?"
A heart-stopping beat of silence, "Who is this?"
Scott shrugged, looking helplessly at a now listening Liam. "It's - Unit Nine."
A reply was instant this time, but it wasn't any more gratifying, "There is no Unit Nine. Who is this? How'd you get-?" His voice was cut off by Scott crushing the radio in his fist.
"Alright, we need to figure out another way to get into the closed unit."
"How do we get through the mountain ash?" Liam asked.
"I don't know yet. But there's somebody else here that might be able to help us."
"Who?"
"Meredith. Lydia said something about Meredith being in her dreams with June, maybe - maybe she can help us figure out how to get to her."

The morgue was now lit up with bright blue lights. Malia turned around to see Kira, and all the electricity running through her.
"I don't know how long I'm gonna last," Kira whimpered, balling her hands into fists in hopes to gain some kind of control.
"How did you stop it before?" Malia asked her.
"Scott carried me outside which almost killed him," She shut down any hope Malia had of trying to help her friend in a hands-on manner.
"Okay - uh - maybe we could try grounding you to something?"
"You have a degree in electrical engineering? Cause I don't know how to do that." Electricity was now spreading past just Kira, and nearly zapped Malia where she stood. Smartly, she ducked out of the way, and watched as Kira stumbled over to a refrigerator door. "You have to get out of here!"
"I can't leave you!"
Kira panicked, facing the door holding a dead body over facing her friend in the state she currently was in. Weakly punching the door, she cried, "I should've stayed in the desert with the skinwalkers, I can't control this! I'm never gonna be able to."
"Kira, it worked," Malia edged closer to Kira. "You saw it work. You controlled it enough to cause the brownout. You can stop it."
The Kira that whipped her head around wasn't the one who hid from Malia. Her eyes were glowing a bright orange, and her voice seemed to echo around them. "I can't. Malia, go!" More electricity seeped from her skin before Kira fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Ginny, where are you going?" Lydia followed June's guardian closely as she walked down the steps that led to the front gate.
"I'm getting the police, if Eichen can't let me in, I'll break the damn doors down-" She suddenly froze at the gate, placing her hands out in front to feel the electric current. It was strong enough that even just placing her hands out raised the hair on her arms and the back of her neck. Stepping back, she turned to Lydia, tears in her eyes.
"What do we - what-" She was interrupted from her panic by the sound of thunder in the distance. Glancing up, the sky was clear, and the stars were shining bright.
"I don't get it, where's the thunder coming from?" Lydia spun around, trying to place any dark clouds on the crystal-clear canvas of the night sky. She almost didn't notice Ginny stare down at the still unconscious security guard, and reach to pick up the electrified baton.
Mouth set in a thin line, Ginny answered, "June. She's brewing the storm."

Scott unlocked the door while Liam slid it open. Quietly shutting it behind them, the two boys turned to face Meredith, whose back was to them. "Meredith. Meredith, it's Scott. Scott McCall." She didn't even move. Liam half-wondered if she was sleeping. Scott wasn't so sure. Hesitantly, he grabbed onto her shoulder and gently swiveled the chair around. He stepped back when he saw Meredith's blank expression, similar to that of June's face he had seen the night of the super moon.
Gently, Scott grabbed onto her hands and rubbed them slowly. "Hey, Meredith, can you hear me? We need your help. We're trying to find June, we're trying to get her out of here."
Liam was looking out the windows of the cell, uncertain. "Scott, I think - I think we better go."
"Meredith, listen," Scott ignored him. "There has to be another way to get to June. We can't get past the mountain ash. How do we find her?" He was still met with blank stares, and pity swelled in his heart.
"Scott."
Scott sighed, squeezing her hand before standing up. He made to walk over to Liam when his hand was unexpectedly grabbed by Meredith. He whipped his head back to face her, and watched as she brought his hand to the back of his neck.
"I could hurt you," He warned, but it wasn't like she could argue back. She simply held his hand at the base of her head and waited. Recognizing the consent, he sighed, and further moved his hand into position. He bared his claws, and the last thing he heard was Meredith's soft gasp as they embedded themselves in her skin.
Scott opened his eyes to find himself standing right behind Liam. He looked around, and saw himself with his hand behind Meredith's head. Scott heard several noises from outside the cell, and quickly left. It didn't escape his attention that as soon as he left, it was like entering a different Eichen.
The walls were crumbling, like the aftershock of an earthquake was still resonating within them. The lights were completely off, throwing the already eerie halls into an even more terrifying darkness. Outside, a storm raged, and he wasn't sure what it was. Be it a hurricane, or a blizzard, or a tornado, it felt like all three at once.
Aside from the lightning flashing, he did see Meredith at the end of the hallway. He quickly followed behind her as she turned corner after corner. Suddenly, about halfway down the fourth hallway, he stopped. Scott almost physically couldn't walk any farther than he was moving. It all hit him at once.
It felt like a giant weight was placed on his chest, and he couldn't breathe. It was like he was experiencing an asthma attack coupled with a panic attack, and maybe even a heart attack thrown into the mix. His mind became mixed with all kinds of emotions, ranging from fear, to anger, to giddiness, to emptiness, to panic, to melancholy. His head began to pound in pain, trying to find a release.
His release came in the form of Meredith, who appeared right in front of him. She grasped his hand, and the feelings subsided, enough to concentrate. Together, they slowly rounded the corner, and saw a figure halfway down the next hallway. Scott's eyes widened when he saw it was June.
Her skin was a ghastly pale color, and her lips were turning a bluish grey. Certain symbols magically appeared on her skin and began to slither around, coiling themselves around her fingers and arms, and crawling up her face. Her eyes began to turn purple, and she began screaming out in pain.
"She doesn't have much time," Meredith commented.
"What is this - what - what's happening to her?" Scott gestured around.
"What you're feeling? Those emotions, the pain, all of it is nothing compared to what she is feeling."
"You mean she's feeling all of this?"
"And more. Her magic, it's eating at her. She's being consumed by her power. Dr. Valack thinks it's worth it if she can answer one question."
"What question?"
"Who is the Beast?"
Scott turned to face Meredith. "She can answer that?"
"Not yet. Not until her mind can absorb every single thought and feeling in this town's radius. Not until it's enough to kill her."
Scott turned back to face June, who curled herself into a ball. "How do I get to her?"
"You can't. You won't be able to get past the mountain ash. But someone else might be able to."
"Who?"
"The hellhound."
Scott raised his eyebrows skeptically, "You mean Parrish?"
"If she dies, she could expose the supernatural in her wake. It's his mission to keep it a secret. He'll protect her. Find the hellhound, and he'll find the witch." Suddenly, June's eyes landed on Scott. Her face morphed into one of fear, and with an almighty scream, pushed her hands out in Scott's direction. He suddenly found himself flung backwards, and the next thing he felt was his claws leaving Meredith's neck.
Glancing around, he noticed Liam was gone from the room. Gently, he helped Meredith lean her head back into a comfortable position before heading for the door. It was opened for him, and an orderly who was over a foot taller than him stood in his path. Scott instinctively took a step back, before watching the orderly collapse to the ground. Behind him stood Liam, fists raised, and poised to strike again.
He looked at Scott and tiredly asked, "Is he out?"
Scott stared down at the nurse in shock, nodding in confirmation. "Yeah."
"Okay," Liam meekly raised a thumb in the air before falling to the ground in exhaustion himself.

Stiles' sneakers squeaked as he ran down the hallway. At the end was a creaked open gate, and it felt almost too obvious to follow. His anger flared when behind him, he heard Theo call his name. He turned to see Theo jogging after him, and slowing to a stop.
"Look, I want her out of here, too." He watched Stiles shake his head in disbelief. "I've got her scent."
"What do you want?"
"What's the difference?" Stiles hummed in disapproval, knowing it made all the difference. It also didn't escape his attention that she was in this position because of him. "I can find her, you can't." His head turned towards another doorway that above it let out copious amounts of steam. Together, they opened to door and multiple patients cowered in the corners. Theo's eyes landed on the corner where the scent was the strongest, and pushed a trembling patient out of the way. Stiles and Theo crouched down around the revealed grate, sighing.
"It leads to the tunnels, doesn't it?" Theo asked, and Stiles nodded.
"There's miles of them. They could be anywhere by now." His face flashed to the image of June, strapped down to the bed, barely able to turn her head. Once more, his pity was suppressed, and he threw the grate up to reveal a ladder. Theo and Stiles both descended, and wandered down several hallways, at the lead of Theo. The pair stopped after a while, and Theo leaned his ear against a series of pipes that protruded from the wall.
"I thought you said you had her scent," Stiles chided, and Theo flinched.
"I lost it."
"So find it again."
"Stiles, what do you smell down here?"
"Chemicals and fecal matter," Stiles admitted before curling his lip up at Theo, "Although I'm pretty sure the fecal matter is you."
Rolling his eyes, Theo placed his ear back on the pipes. "I smell it, too. It's all that I can smell which is why I'm trying something else, so can you please shut up and let me concentrate."
Stiles had enough, and walked away from Theo in frustration. "I'm gonna find her."
"You know you won't Stiles. You're gonna have to trust me."
Stiles turned around, facing Theo with an expression that took on incredulity. "Trust you? The guy who murdered his own sister when he was nine?"
"Yeah, I was nine years old. I-I also believed that a guy in a red suit came down the chimney to deliver presents. So when three people in leather masks showed up and said that my sister wanted me to have her heart, I believed them, too."
"So then together, you gutted and killed her. That's a beautiful story."
"I watched her fall in the water and freeze to death in minutes. Do you think I had any idea what was going on?"
"I think you pushed her," Stiles stepped closer to him. "And I think you liked it." The pair were jarred from their verbal sparring match by a scream. A scream so loud that it carried down past them and bounced off the walls. Stiles initially thought it was Lydia, it was so loud, but when he figured out it was June, it sent chills down his spine.
He turned to Theo in a panic. "What direction is that?" Theo's uncertain stare made Stiles infinitely more uncomfortable. "Theo, where's it coming from?"
"Everywhere."
Stiles huffed, wanting nothing more than to yell at Theo for being no help. Instead, he shook his head and took off running. He ran towards what he hoped was the origin of the scream. He hoped he was running to June.

I was thrust into consciousness by a whirlwind of pain. The hole in my head took the term 'splitting migraine' to a whole new level, and I couldn't help but cry out. I could have sworn my yelling echoed out past the room I was currently in and carried out over to the next town. I felt everything I had ever worked to control slowly slip from my grasp as things around the room started to shake and move. I was petrified and alone, and I knew then that I was dying.
"Hold on a little longer, June," I felt a cloth dab at the wound in my head and I flinched. "You can make it." Looking around, I could see many different tools that took too much effort to try and name, as well as Dr. Valack spinning a few knobs and dials. I slowly started to hear a song play out, and I recognized the old-sounding guitar from Jailhouse Rock. Hearing that song made me want to cry all over again.
"Young witches learn control through hours and hours of meditation. Although from your records back in New York, that never seemed to fully help you gain control. Not that you needed to, you learned exceptionally fast." My vision was blurring in and out as I attempted to look around the room for an escape. "However it states here that your guardian, Ginny, would play Elvis Presley. A curious mantra for a curious witch, wouldn't you agree?"
I was too busy focusing on the pain and overwhelming feeling of everything around me to bother listening to him. It wasn't until he was directly in front of me and speaking loudly did I actually pay attention.
"June, whatever you're feeling, whatever your magic is causing you to experience, I want you to block it out, and focus on the music. I want you to focus on it just like you did back in New York, alright?" I was too delirious to even begin to wonder how he knew all of that. Looking for a reprieve, I did as he asked, and focused on how the locked-up jailbirds sang. The more I listened, the more I thought of Ginny, and soon after, the pain started to dull to the point of focus. I hummed in relief.
"That's it," Valack continued, "I want you to focus on this sound and my voice, alright June?" I looked around the room as my vision finally focused and saw one of my orderlies, one of the particularly nasty ones, lying dead in a corner. I gasped sharply.
"Don't worry, June. Nurse Cross wasn't nearly as strong as you." I whimpered as Valack tended to his files and tools. I kept my attention focused on the record, which was now playing Can't Help Falling in Love. I wanted to sob just thinking about seeing Stiles again. I prayed that he took my advice and left. Knowing him, he was probably too stubborn to. I could only hope that I died before my magic hurt him, and I took comfort in knowing that I at least got to see him once again before I – well, before I died.

At the base of the steps that led up to the regular part of Eichen House, Scott and Liam found Deputy Parrish. His skin was charred, and he was unconscious, a pole melted into two pieces at his side.
"Parrish," Scott called, "Parrish. Hey, can you hear me?"
Parrish sat up, confusion clouding his eyes, "What - how'd I get here?"
"We don't know, we kind of just followed the burning smell," Liam admitted while Jordan stared at his blackened hands.
Scott called for his attention, "Parrish, listen. Eichen's in lockdown. There's no way for us to get out unless plan B works."
"Plan B? What's plan B?"
They both turned to Liam, who shrugged. Scott shook his head, "Don't worry about it. Right now, we need you to find June."
"Me?"
"Actually, not completely you," Liam admitted. "We kind of need the other you."
"The hellhound."
Parrish looked worried for a moment before nodding. "Okay, okay what do we do?" Both boys looked around before Liam's eyes landed on the janitor's cart pushed into a corner.
"We could light you on fire." Scott nodded at him and watched as he fumbled around the different cleaning products before grabbing onto a pressurized aerosol can. Liam tossed the can to Scott and dug in his pocket for the lighter he carried just in case.
Parrish was breathing heavily, preparing himself for what was to come. He noticed Scott's hesitance, and therefore yelled, "Do it!"
Scott sprayed the fire, igniting one long stream of it, and watched it consume and settle into the hellhound. Hypnotically, Parrish stood up and began walking through the building. Both Scott and Liam watched in awe as he burned through the mountain ash barriers, all in an effort to get to June.
Overhead, thunder crashed, shaking the whole of Eichen House. Scott tried not to flinch, knowing that the unexpected weather change could only come from one thing.

Stiles had faced about his fifth crossroads, and darted down another tunnel. Turning multiple corners, he came up behind Theo, and nearly backpedaled just so he wouldn't have to deal with him. Theo shrugged.
"Nothing."
"Great, you're just as useless as I am." Stiles skirted around him and began walking down the next tunnel. He didn't like that he could hear Theo's feet fall behind him.
"I'm trying to help save her life."
"Would you just drop the altruistic crap? You want June because she gets you to Parrish, and you want Parrish because he gets you to the Beast."
"So what? I want it dead, too."
Stiles wouldn't budge, "Right after you take its power, right? We know why you got the talons. We know why you've been looking for Deucalion."
"I found Deucalion. You're right. I'm gonna help Parrish stop the Beast. I'm gonna take its power, and then I'm gonna break its neck. So maybe I'm not the good guy in your eyes, but I might be the guy that saves all your asses."
Stiles sighed, realizing that once again, this wasn't the point. He could use Theo's help, he wasn't getting anywhere. His eyes once again landed on the piping around the walls, and an idea struck him.
"Break it."
"What?"
"Sound travels through the pipe." Stiles was met with a blank stare and he huffed in irritation. "You'll hear better, dumbass, break it."
Theo did as instructed, and broke the pipe. Listening intently, he heard the sound of a familiar British man talking, and his eyes widened. He only had to listen a little longer before he could pinpoint a location, and both Theo and Stiles weren't very far from where they needed to be.

"June, can you hear me?"
"What do you want from me?" I muttered.
"I want your help against the Dread Doctors," he replied. "They burned me, destroyed me. They drove me to obsession, consigned me to professional ridicule. People thought I was a monster, but I was simply trying to open their eyes."
I looked over at him, "Now you need me to be your eyes."
"I'll admit, Lydia was the more viable option, but by amplifying your empathetic abilities, you're very nearly on the same playing field. You'll see things, June. Things no one else can see." He turned around and walked over to a shelf, "You may not survive, but you might save the lives of your friends." He turned back around holding a mask that must have formerly belonged to a Dread Doctor. I cringed back slightly, looking at it in fear.
He set the mask down and gathered a few wires from the table next to me. He stuck the electrodes connected to said wires on both the left and right temple, and turned on another screen.
"We have to slow your mind, first," he explained, "There's too much activity in your brain."
"W-wonder why," I mumbled and he pursed his lips.
"We have to get from a gamma wave to a theta."
I flinched when a surge of feelings much too strong to cope with came over me, "It's too much, I can't."
"If I try the mask now, it will kill you. You have to calm your mind."
Elvis was getting on my nerves at this point, but I kept listening.
Valack took that as a cue to continue, "You understand what they've created."
"The Beast."
"The Beast of Gevaudan. An engineered version of it." If he knew all of this, I wasn't sure why he was asking me. "But it's not yet fully grown. It's still bound to its host, the teenage chimera inside. And it still requires the Dread Doctors' protection."
A lightbulb went off, "Damnatio Memoriae."
"That's right," Valack confirmed, "The Beast was a man first. A human killer in the late 1700s. The Dread Doctors are trying to get it to remember itself, to remember the man. When that happens, the teenager is gone."
My magic was bubbling under the surface I could feel it. Pretty soon, I wasn't going to be able to hold it back anymore. I started to physically tremble at the thought of finally losing control. I never thought it was going to happen, I still had so much I needed to do. I needed to hug Ginny one last time. I needed to go to school and finally go to a college where my intellect is properly challenged. I needed to see Stiles again, even though he gave up on me. My heart was racing, and I couldn't tell if that was the power coursing through my veins or the fear.
"This teenager, June, is the last genetic chimera. A young man, or a young woman, maybe even someone you know. A success where Theo and the others were failures."
"But w-we went through the l-list of genetic chimeras. T-there's no one else."
"There must be one you've missed," Valack ushered, "Another way they could have two sets of DNA. If you could see the face of this teenager, discover its identity, then your friends would have a fighting chance. The mask can help you see."
Someone pounded on the door, and my gaze snapped over to it. A muffled yell called my name, and my heart soared. It was Stiles.
It was Stiles.
I could hear him call out for me, but I couldn't hear Elvis Presley anymore. An electrical surge no doubt caused by me fried the turntable, and I was once again without a means of control.
My magic came back twice as fast and twice as painful, for nothing was holding it back. Things started exploding around the room, metal tools began to melt, entire cabinets began soaring crazily about the room, but I didn't care. I finally felt myself lose control.
Valack came up to me holding the mask, "I'm sorry June, but time is up."
A particularly strong surge of magic ran through me, and I yelled out in pain. My vision turned to spots of gold and purple, and I screamed out in agony. When my vision returned to normal, I could see Dr. Valack with half of his head caved in from a table corner flying directly into it. I panted as relief came slowly, but it was soon overtaken by another emotion: shock.
I was shocked to see Stiles burst through the door. He took no time at all to find me in the mess of a room, and he jumped over chairs knocked to the floor and ducked under shards of glass and sharp objects that were flying about the place. He wasted no time in getting to me, and his shaking hands quickly found my face.
"You – you're still here," I uttered meekly. He kept glancing over my face, panting. His hands meddled with the electrodes that were stuck on my head, slowly peeling them off.
"June, we're getting you out of here," I spared a fleeting glance to Theo before shaking my head.
"You can't, it's too danger-"
"June," Stiles stopped me, "Please shut up and let me save your life."
I smiled before nodding ever-so-slightly. Stiles nodded back at me and removed the second electrode before moving to help me off the stand I was on. Before he could, however, I felt a peculiar feeling in my gut before it took over my entire body. I gasped, and the next thing I knew, I was on the opposite end of the room, and I collapsed to the floor due to the pain in my head.
"June, did you just – just teleport?" I heard Stiles ask me, and I heard his sneakers rush over to me. I could sadly only whimper in response. Stiles wasted no more time in throwing one of my arms over his shoulder and secured one of his arms around my waist. In a sudden move, he hoisted me up to my feet and ushered me out of the room.
I could barely notice that we were in the tunnels over the sound of my breathing coupled with the pain in my head and my magic having free reign to do whatever it wanted. I hated to admit that what Valack had done was actually working, the empathy I normally felt was dialed all the way up to one hundred, and that left a lot for my senses to take in.
I could hear every drop of sweat run down the ridges of Stiles' skin, I could hear the electricity buzzing right above me, signaling the lockdown Eichen must be experiencing. I could see the patterns in the dust particles hovering in the air, and I could feel the pressurized gas racing through the pipes next to us. Thanks to the hole in my head, I could feel every single thing around me, coupled with everyone's emotions. All the people above me in Eichen trapped in dark corners, their terror, their lunacy, their sorrow, it grew to be too much.
"June, okay you gotta try and stay on your feet. The plan didn't work too well, so I'm gonna need your help, okay?"
"You had a plan?" I asked him and he rubbed my back soothingly as we stumbled down the tunnels.
"Yeah, it was good on paper, not too much in reality – holy shit, June what is coming out of your hands?"
I slowly looked down at my hands, and I saw purple and gold swirls spiral out and evaporate quickly. Tiredly, I panted, "Magic. It's my magic."
Stiles struggled to carry me down the hallway, "Magic? Can – can you even see magic? Is that like a thing?"
"No," I replied, my hands sweating, and struggling to gather a proper grip on Stiles' shirt, "No, magic isn't supposed to manifest itself like this. It's not possible."
"Well, June, I think everything about you is supposed to be impossible. Try and stay on your feet, okay? We've gotta keep moving."
"Stiles, I'm scared," I cried. He pulled me even closer to him and planted a kiss in my hair.
"Me too."
Ugh here's me writing because I don't want Teen Wolf to end. Thoughts? Love you all. Unedited. Xx.
