Jean-Luc hung his head low. "...this was her home. Why couldn't she just be happy?"

"...Wait. What's that?" Lilith asked suddenly as she felt something shine under Luz's robes.

Jean-Luc saw a small blue glow and gasped. "Wait! It's...I don't even know!"

"Well, check!"

"I'd have to open up her tunic, I feel weird doing that to a human AND a corpse-"

"She could be alive, so let me do it!" Lilith cried, looking at the glowing symbol by opening up the tear in her tunic caused by the stab...there was some kind of tattoo or patch on her skin. Some kind of dark blue hand. "What's...that?"

The dark blue hand continued to glow and glow...until Luz's wound began to shrink. Her skin began to heal. Lilith's eyes widened.

"What? What is it?!" Jean-Luc cried as he looked at her. "Wait...is that?"

"Her wound! It's...healing! On its own! I...I can't believe-" Lilith then stopped in the middle of her sentence when the wound was completely healed. She then checked Luz's pulse.

There...WAS one.

"A healing patch! From The Healer's Coven!" Jean-Luc realized. "She must've placed it on herself beforehand in case this ever happened!!" He exclaimed.

Lilith felt her eyes widen even more if that was even possible. "She's...alive!"

Jean-Luc's blue eyes widened and then quickly scooped up Luz's body into his arms. "We have to tell the others!! Quickly!!!"

Meanwhile...

King sniffled and sobbed. "I...she can't be gone! Mom can't be gone!"

Eda was just silent, petting King and trying to comfort him. "I...I..."

King then felt his eyes change and twitch. He suddenly clenched his cute little paws. "No!! She's not gone!! She's not!!"

The demon's eyes began to turn red and Amity noticed. King then leapt out of Eda's arms, almost falling. He felt the spikes on his back again. "No!! She's-"

Amity then rushed over...and hugged him. "King...I'm sorry..."

King's spikes turned away and his eyes went back to yellow, and he went straight back to crying, clutching Amity's back.

Amity just rubbed his furry little back, despite her own heartbreak.

Gus looked down at the floor. "It...just...doesn't feel..."

"Real." Willow finished. "L-Luz wouldn't have seen this coming, but...for some reason...I feel like she might've-"

Then, the door was busted down, and Lilith nearly fell onto the floor.

Eda jumped before her eyes widened. "L-Lilith-?"

"LUZ IS ALIVE!" Jean-Luc exclaimed as he rushed in after her.

Everyone shot out of their seats. Eda was the first to run over, grabbing Luz's hand and wrist and checking her pulse. The Owl Lady froze.

"She...has a pulse! She's alive!!!" Eda exclaimed.

Amity's eyes widened and she was left frozen. She slowly let King out of her arms, and King ran over to Jean-Luc, not even questioning how he could talk now.

"MAMA!!!!" King cried, crying his eyes out even more, but with hope beginning to burn brightly inside of him. He then clutched his mother's hand once Jean-Luc set her on the couch. "M...Mom...? P-Please...wake up...!"

Willow felt like her breathing was out on hold, anxiously waiting for a voice or the fluttering of Luz's eyes.

Then? Luz's mouth slowly opened. "K...King...?"

The Witch's eyes then fluttered open and she looked at the little demon.

"L-LUZ!" Eda screamed, rushing over to her daughter's side. "YOU'RE ALIVE!!!"

"I-I was-?" Luz then felt her shockingly weak and tired body become hugged by a crying King.

"Y-YOU'RE ALIVE!!!! MAMA!!!!" King sobbed, crying tears of relief and joy instead of depression and sorrow.

Willow rushed over as well, crying so much that she could've sworn a puddle of tears was going to form. "LUZ!!!"

Luz slowly wrapped her arm around her son and looked at Willow. "K...King...Eda...Willow...Gus...J-Jean..."

Gus wiped his eyes, a giant smile of relief and hope on his face. "W-WE THOUGHT WE LOST YOU!!!"

"LUZ!!!!" Amity finally cried and ran over, joining the hug, but trying to be as gentle as possible.

"A-Amity...?" Luz whispered, her voice weak. "I...I...what...happened?" She then coughed, feeling her strength come back to her body as she hugged her girlfriend and King.

Eda stroked Luz's cheek, feeling the warmth again. She was alive. This was real.

Luz then managed to sit up, still having her son and Amity in her arms. "I-I can't remember anything after...Belos. Belos! What is he doing!?"

"W...We'll explain later, kid." Eda said before joining the hug too. Then Willow, and then Gus. Even Jean-Luc.

Lilith just patted Luz's arm. "Uhhh, I'd feel a tad awkward if I hugged you."

"Yeah, we haven't exactly bonded yet." Luz joked, but more focused on the group hug. She felt it get tighter. "G-Guys...! Too tight-!"

"I WAS DEAD?!" Luz screamed. "AND THE WORLD IS BEING DESTROYED!? I MEAN, I PUT THE HEALING PATCH ON AS A CONTINGENCY-"

She then shot to her feet, but stumbled and fell onto the couch again.

"Easy! Easy!" Lilith urged. "You just came back from THE DEAD."

"But I can't just let it burn!! This is my home!" Luz cried.

"Belos isn't going anywhere." Eda said. "If I know psychos like him, he's gonna wanna enjoy the thrill."

"And he doesn't know you're alive!" Gus cried. "That gives us an advantage!"

Luz felt her son cuddle her again, and she pet him. "But...why did he want me dead? Why couldn't he just resurrect The Titan earlier?"

Willow shrugged. "Beats us! He never gave an evil monologue explaining his plan."

"You do know people don't actually do that, right?" Lilith said.

"Well, everything else felt like the superhero trope." Willow said.

Luz thought before it hit her. "Wait...oh, of course! He needed Wild Witches dead in order to resurrect The Titan! We're using its magic!"

"And the rest he controls through the Coven System!" Amity cried.

"But you're alive, shouldn't that mean The Titan is weakened or fall apart or something?" Eda asked.

Luz hummed. "I'm guessing weakened. It's our best bet. The Day of Unity is him MERGING both of our worlds together...which means the innocent people from my world are here! And in danger!"

"Every human is evacuated." Lilith said. "Not to mention, it's likely the government attempted to nuke The Titan."

"More like did." Gus said, turning on the TV and showing footage of The Titan just teleporting away the nuclear bombs.

"That's actually good! We can rush in and save any survivors." Luz said.

"You're not coming." Eda said suddenly. "You, King, and Jean-Luc are gonna stay here."

"What!?" Luz cried.

"You're gonna stay and come up with a PLAN to stop Belos and The Titan. You three know more about that thing than anyone else in this room does! Not to mention, you're in no condition to go save people and King shouldn't be leaving your side right now."

Luz sighed. "Alright...fair point."

Amity then held Luz's hand. "We'll be alright."

"We'll see each other again." Luz said, resting her forehead against hers before watching the group head out. She then turned to Jean-Luc. "Any ideas?"

Jean-Luc hummed...then it hit him. "You said EVERYONE from The Boiling Isles is being shot into the human world?"

"Yeah? Why?"

"I have an idea."
