"What the heck Charmaine Artemis Clifford??! Last tuesday lang magkausap pa tayo! Bakit bigla ka na lang lumipat ng school?? At bakit sa States pa?? Pano kita bibisitahin nyan? Kahit kakastart pa lang ng semester ang dami na agd pinapagawa sa school." sermon sakin ni Aliya habang kausap ko sya sa telepono

"I'm really sorry Aliya.. Biglaan kasi yung nagyari kay Mommy.. Kinailangan syang ilipad agad sa hospital here sa States.." sagot ko na ikinatahimik nya

Actually wala ako sa States.. Nasa Aralon ako ngayon.. At ayoko mang magsinungaling kay Aliya, pero kailangan.. Hindi maganda ang kalagayan ni Mommy, she's currently in a coma state kaya ditto namin piniling ipagamot sya sa Aralon.. And yes, I was forced to transfer school as well because of the situation..

"Ok, sorry.. I understand.. I hope Tita Cassiopeia will wake up soon.. I will find time to visit ok??" saad nya na ikinatigil ko

"Ahm.. Aliya it's ok.. You don't have to do that.." sagot ko

"No.. I will visit so tell me which hospit---"

"Aliya I need to go.. Sorry.. I'll call you again next time.. Bye-bye.." paalam ko

"Mag-post ka ng pictures mo dyan sa States sa facebook and instagram ok? Bye.." dinig ko pang pahabol nya bago maputol yung linya

I'm currently using the magic phones hee on the school library in Aralon kaya ko na-contact si Aliya.. Phones here are different.. Electricity is non-existent here in Aralon. They have a different source of power.. Plus magic telephones that can communicate to Earth are rare and monitored by the Kingdom so I can't just contact Aliya anytime I want.. But shocks, anong idadahilan ko next time kay Aliya?? Problema toh... >.<

"Tapos ka nang makipag-usap sa kaibigan mo?? Kailangan pa nating pumunta sa office ni school headmaster, he wants to talk to you.." sabat ni Arren na nakaupo dun sa isang upuan at naghihintay sakin..

"Yeah.. Let's go.." sagot ko

Narito ako ngayon sa Aurum Magique University, at ditto ako magta-transfer.. Ito rin ang school ni Cobalt, at kung nasaan sya? Nasa klase sya ngayon, at kahit gusto nya akong samahan sa mga oras na ito, hindi pwede dahil si Arren ang inutusan ng school headmaster na mag-tour sakin ditto sa school..

Pagkalabas namin sa library, which is on the third floor of the school, sinalubong kami ng isang magulong hallway.. Well hindi naman sya magulo in a way na muka syang school ng mga delinquent, nagkataon lang talaga na may mga estuyante na lumilipad sa school hallway, may naglalaro ng apoy sa kamay, may mga nakikipaghabulan sa isang leon, may mga nagbabatuhan ng tubig, at may nakita rin akong ipo-ipo dun sa isang room na nadaanan namin.. Mukang hindi rin friendly ang mga estudyante ditto... Kung ano man yung ineexpect nyo sa isang magic school, hindi ganun ang university na ito,, this isn't a fairytale after all..

May ilang estudyante na napapalingon sa direksyon namin ni Arren.. Waaahhh.. Gusto ko nang maging invisible na lang.. Kaso papagalitan ako nitong si Arren kapag bigla akong naglaho.. =3=

"Sino sya??"

"Bat nya kasama si Gavriil??"

"Transferee ba sya??"

Dinig na dinig ko ang bulungan ng ilang mga estudyante..

Prince??? Sino?? Si Arren??? Eww. These people are blind!

"Hey, magic is not allowed in the hallways.." biglang saad ni Arren at biglang natigilan ang lahat at napatingin samin..

"S-sorry President.." sabi nung isa na kanina ay nakikipaghabulan dun sa leon.. Mabilis na nagmukang normal ang hallway..

Whoah.. What is he?? The law on this school???

"Haha ang sungit talaga.." komento ni Jin na kanina lang ay lumilipad kasama yung ibang mga estudyante..

"Part ng school rules ang pagbabawal sa paggamit ng magic sa school hallways lalo na kapag oras ng klase.." simpleng sagot ni Arren

Natawa lang si Jin.. "You heard the President people! Go back to your respective classes! Bawal ang mga pakalat-kalat kapag oras ng klase!" sigaw ni Jin at unti-unting naubos ang tao sa hallway..

President?? Si Arren???

"Hi Charmaine!" masiglang bati sakin ni Jin at tinanguan ko lamang sya

"Come with us Jin, papunta kami kay Headmaster Fridd.." saad ni Arren at tumango naman si Jin

"Sure.." -Jin

Nagtungo kami sa isang separate building, sa ikatlong palapag matatagpuan ang opisina ng school headmaster.. Isa itong eleganteng silid na nababalutan ng mga ginintuang muwebles at mga tila mamahaling paintings..

"Ms Clifford as you know Ice magic is one of the rarest magic in Aralon.. For some unknown reasons, the Travelers are on the move, tracking mages with the attributes of ice.. So clearly, you are in danger.." pambungad na salita ni Headmaster Fridd matapos nya akong paupuin sa upuan sa tapat ng table nya.. Bukod samin ni Headmaster, sina Arren at Jin lamang ang narito sa office nya.. Pakiramdam ko tuloy top secret ang mga pag-uusapan namin...

"Your parents are my friends, at ipinagkatiwala ka sa akin ng Mommy mo kung sakasakaling may mangyayaring hindi maganda, tulad ng sitwasyon ngayon.. So I want you to study magic in my university.. I want you to learn to defend your self.. You have the potential Ms. Clifford.. Sana ay mahasa mo ito ng maayos.." saad ni Headmaster Fridd..

Napatungo ako.. One of the reasons why I stopped practicing witchcraft is because of the high expectations of the people around me.. They know that my parents are powerful mages, so they expect that I'll be as great as them, and I hate it.. Kaya hindi na lang ako tumugon..

"Ms. Clifford may hinihinging kapalit ang kaligtasan mo.." saad ni Headmaster Fridd kaya napaangat muli ang tingin ko.

"I have faith in the security of my university, but to make sure that you are really safe, you must refrain from using ice magic.." seryosong saad ni Headmaster Fridd

"Sir pardon my intrusion, but Ms. Clifford is an ice witch, how can she study magic without using her natural attribute..?" sabat ni Arren at napatango ako sa tanong nya dahil yun din mismo ang nasa isip ko..

Ngumiti si Headmaster Fridd kaya nagtaka ako..

"This institute is not centered on teaching elemental magic Mr. Lockser, there are ten accepted kinds of magic here in Aralon, and this university teaches all of them.." sagot ni Headmaster Fridd.. "So please Ms. Clifford, refrain from using ice magic as much as possible.. And if anyone ask what your natural attribute is, simply answer Water, because it is the closest to your true elemental magic..." dagdag pa ni Headmaster Fridd kaya napatango na lamang ako..

"And one more thing Ms. Clifford, your mother once mentioned that you hate too much attention, in that case, I wont announce to the entire school that you are the Witch of Carnage's daughter, so everyone will treat you as equal.." saad muli ni Headmaster Fridd..

"Thank you Sir..." sagot ko

Ngumiti si Headmaster Fridd... "Welcome to Aurum Magique University Ms.Clifford.. You are now officially a Practisioner of Magic..."
