Thirty-Four
I wake up startled. I'm covered in sweat. I grip my chest. I pant quickly and heavily. That was a terrifying dream. I remove the blanket. I jump when I see black vines growing out of the bandages and around me. I look at my arm. Vines were popping out of my skin. I feel like something's bubbling up me like throw up. I didn't throw up food or blood. I threw up black ooze.
A lot of it I barf up. I spew it out of my mouth. My inners feel on fire. My throat feels like its burning in magma. Pain flashes in my body. My stomach feels like lava. I continue spewing black ooze and vines kept wrapping around me. This isn't good. I now know why she didn't kill me. Soon I'll die. I don't know what exactly is happening, but I do know it's not good for me.
I shakily stood up. This has to end. I'm sick of this. I know what I have to do. Something that I should've done years and years ago. I take the wooden blocks off the floor. I push the dirt away. I see the chest. I take it out. I open it. A gold glow burst out of the chest. I block my eyes. When it ceases, I lower my arm. I take something out.
The golden gear. The one I snatched from her. The one that got me into this mess. I stood up. I put my shirt back on. I call my Ender Sword to my back. This fighting will only get worse, unless I return this gear to her.
