Chapter 10: Adyson The Nerd
{Adyson}
Johnny whimpered as I pinched his ear till it was almost blue. "Addy, let go!"
I glared at him, fiercely. "Shut up!"
He stopped whining and I let him go. We hid behind a bush and I stared as Isabella entered Phineas' car, her face showing off the biggest smile I've seen from her in a while.
My heart softened and I smiled at her happiness. Then, I remembered everything I lost because of her and I glared.
"Get you car, Johnny, we're going after them." I ordered.
He ran to his car and quickly pulled up to me. I swiftly entered his black Mercedes and perched a pair of deep black sunglasses on my face.
I glanced at the stuffed dolls and skulls hanging around his car. "Johnny, you need to get over this phase. It's been ten years, seriously, you're such a little kid."
"I happen to like skulls and voodoo dolls..." He muttered.
"Excuse me, did you just talk back to me? You know what your family owes mine? About as much as Isabella's, maybe more." I growled.
"Cousin, my family may not be...financially wealthy...but I'm still older than you." He said, keeping his eye on Phineas' yellow sports car.
"Oh, puh-lease, do not remind me that I have your blood." I rolled my eyes.
"You can't just deny that we're family." He said.
"I can and I have." I snapped.
He stopped trying to argue with me and just followed their car.
The Googolplex mall
Of course...
Phineas parked and got out of the car. Before Isabella could step out, he rushed to her car side and helped her out.
My heart melted at the sight. Phineas was always a gentleman. My heart twisted at the sight of their hands closed around each other.
Isabella Garcia-Shapiro
Once one of my best friends, but now...I want to take her happiness.
"Addy, Isabella is actually a really nice girl. Can we stop hurting her? Stop looking for vengeance." Johnny said.
I whipped my head towards him in shock. "Are you getting soft, Fernandez?"
He flinched. "No, it's just..."
"Remember, that softness took your girlfriend from you! Now you have to watch, heartbroken, as she lays in the hands of another man! Another man who is only nineteen, no less!" I barked.
His eyes went dull. "No...it's not that British kid's fault I'm a terrible boyfriend...I didn't treat her right..."
I groaned. "Johnny! Get a hold of yourself! You cannot go soft on me now! You hear me?!"
He looked away. "Yes..."
"Good. Keep that in your empty head and let's go." I said.
I turned sharply and hurried after the 'couple'. My anger was burning as I watched them disappear into Isabella's favorite store, 'A Girl's World'.
Johnny winced at the intense pink surrounding the store. "Do we have to go in there?"
"No, we have to get some disguises first." I said and walked to a nearby store.
I looked around and grabbed piles of clothes. I sorted through them, separating pants from shirts, until I had two complete outfits. I grabbed one and shoved the other at him. I ducked into a fitting room.
There, I had a good look at the outfit I'd chosen. I rolled my eyes in disgust. There was a brown plaid skirt, an oversized black cashmere sweater, and black stockings.
A nerd outfit
I groaned and just put them, gagging at the cashmere sweater and the scratchy stockings. I put my black converses on and almost died at the terrible clothes I was wearing.
I stepped out and saw Johnny in white jeans, a white shirt, and a blue polo. He hair was swept over to get rid of his too long bangs and he'd taken his gothic make-up. I almost didn't believe it was him. My gothic cousin now looked...like a typical white playboy.
He saw me and stifled a laugh. He reached over to a rack and threw something at me. It was a brown scrunchie and a black bow tie.
I rolled my eyes. "No way."
He shrugged. "You're a nerd, so look the part."
"Never call me a nerd again." I snapped, clipping the bow tie on and pulling my hair into a ponytail.
He handed me my dark sunglasses. "Here's your precious glasses. They don't really match the outfit...why are they so important anyways?"
I put my head up. "You don't need to know that. Go pay for these atrocious outfits and meet me there."
I walked out, my head up high, as I tried to get over the embarrassment that they call these clothes. I can't believe people actually wear these.
I sashayed into the pink store and spotted Isabella and Phineas on the other side. Isabella was laughing at Phineas who was wearing a kids crown and gaggles of silly fake necklaces.
How dare she dress him up in something so stupid for her own entertainment
I crept closer and closer until I hid behind a rack of earrings. I could hear their conversation.
"Try this one, Phineas!" Isabella giggled.
"A pink crown? Hmm...it goes nicely with my red hair." Phineas joked.
I growled. Isabella was so stupid. How could Phineas not see through her?
Then I remembered that he was extremely oblivious. I thought of all forty-two 'Help Thy Neighbor' badges from when I was a Fireside girl. All forty-two of them were excuses for Isabella to see Phineas even though she lived right across from him.
All that time wasted on a crush that she can't even own up to. Even now, I have to watch her try to flirt with him.
Is this my fate? Watching my former friend endlessly flirt with a boy who will never see her as anyone except the girl across the street? She should just give up. Especially now that I'm finally getting my long awaited revenge on her.
"Hey, cousin." Johnny says, scaring me, but I hold back a scream.
"You idiot! Shut your mouth if you don't have anything intelligent to say." I hissed.
"Oh, excuse me, sorry. I just want to get some clip-on earrings."
I backed away as Isabella tried to get past me. I see her eyes flash with fear for a second but then it was gone.
"Sorry, my cousin just loves these...monkey earrings." Johnny's new low voice said.
"So sorry." I squeaked.
"It's fine." Isabella smiled, her eyes soft.
"Clip-on earrings? Isabella, no!" Phineas said, his eyes full of fake fear.
"Oh, yes." She grinned mischievously.
Before they get all mushy, I interrupt them. "Your outfit is cute."
She turned in confusion but then beamed. "Thanks! It's my favorite outfit!"
'I know', my thoughts ring.
Truth be told, it's a pink sweater with a purple stripe at the bottom, made to look like a belt. She's got on tattered jeans and her hair is pulled back in a low ponytail with a pink bow. Her dirty black Vans don't make up for it.
My eyes sweeped over to Phineas. His, on the other hand, was perfect. A yellow hoodie with an orange stripe, new-looking jeans, and blue Vans. Just like him, it was perfect.
"Well, we need to go. Come on, A...Abigail..." Johnny said.
I flashed a fake smile. "Bye!"
I rolled my eyes in disgust as we exited the store. "She's so gross."
"Don't be mad because you got caught." Johnny said as we got into his car.
"Shut up. Come on, I gotta get home." I threw off the ugly sweater and skirt, and put my green tea-length dress back on.
Soon, we entered my private property that had our thirty-two acre mansion, a huge pool, tennis courts, and horse stables. Inside, there was a gym, a movie theater, twenty private bedrooms, three huge kitchens and dining rooms, and endless sitting rooms.
"Sometimes, I can't believe we're still in Danville." Johnny murmered.
I knew he hated my family and our pride of our money but I didn't care. At least I wasn't poor like him and all my lame former friends.
"Addyson, dear, you're home." Mother said, air-kissing me.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. Sweetwater." I nodded.
"You were almost late for your piano, dance, flute, and violin classes." She tittered.
"I'm so sorry, Mrs. Sweetwater. I promise it won't happen again." I said.
"Good. Your father is in his office with some delegates. Do not bother him. Millie will make you some dinner if you get...hungry." She said and then left, but now before shooting Johnny a disgusted glare.
"Jeez, you can't even call your mom, 'mom'." Johnny said.
"I have to be proper. Besides, it avoids any unnecessary feelings. Feelings make you weak." I said.
"What about dorito boy?" He asked.
I stopped walking. "What about him."
"Don't you like him?" He asked.
"Doesn't matter how I feel. I'm like a princess. I'll be married off to some other bum with money so it doesn't matter. But, if my plan goes well, Phineas will be that bum I'll marry." I grinned.
Enjoy your time with him, my dear 'chief', because he'll be mine. That'll be my last promise as your 'friend'.
Did you guys like Adyson's P.O.V? Should I do it again?
Any changed feelings towards her?
Actually, I liked Adyson from PnF but anyways, we'll find her story soon enough.
