The sound of a door opening caused me to stir, when I had fallen asleep and hadn't responded to any tests the scientists tried they had all gone home except the few security guards. Looking up from where I sat I noticed a young boy, his dark hair and deep brown eyes matched his Olive skin. Moving closer to examine the small child I watched as he looked around before touching the glass with his hand, I could tell he wasn't meant to be here but yet I felt calmer with his soft gaze watching me. Pressing my own hand to the glass I studied the small boy closer, he looked to be about eight years old from my perspective and he seemed to be so amazed at seeing a Pokemon. Sudden shouting made me lurch backwards, the young boy was dragged away and I thrashed not wanting the peaceful feeling he allowed me to leave. Seeing my struggling the man taking the boy away stopped for a moment, letting the boy go he raced over to the glass and I felt myself calm down once more. Whatever spell this boy had on me was outstanding, since I was a Pokemon it could be possible to have a partner now. The voices outside the compartment were muffled and unbearable but that didn't matter, closing my eyes we both rested our heads against the glass.

"Can you hear me little one?" I called through an attempted mind link with the boy, I could feel his curiosity building so he must have heard me.

"My Name is Liam what's yours?" The small boy replied, I felt relieved I could speak with someone at least.

"My name is MewLing and these people are bad people, promise you won't let me be lonely," I cooed without realising I made the cooing sound outside of the mind link, the boy looked at me with determined eyes and smiled.

"Don't worry MewLing, I won't leave you alone," he giggled, floating backwards to my usual spot in the small compartment I watched with careful eyes on what they would do with the boy. The man who tried to take him away knelt before him, probably to question what we were talking about in our mind link. After their small conversation the small boy raced back over to the glass as he sat there on a chair as the room fell quiet, something told me the man had asked the boy to do something.

"Hey MewLing, uncle David wanted me to ask you what else you could do," Liam explained, I snorted and looked towards the man standing by the door.

"That is none of his concern, could you tell him that for me?" I grumbled through our mind link, the small boy looked towards the man and began to say something which resulted in this "Uncle David" to walk over with a not so amused expression. Upon pressing a small button electricity began to sting my every limb making me roar in pain, I could hear the small boy crying out but I wouldn't let this man hurt him. Closing my eyes I allowed the electricity to hurt me, every second of pain resulted in more anger building in my blood. Opening one of my hands I managed to harness some of the electricity to completely cut off the power to the compartment, knowing this was my chance of escape I shot out of my captivity compartment and stood before the now startled scientists. The feeling of MewTwo's growing distress made me look around, I had to find her before they did something to her. Looking at the boy I nodded to him knowing that taking him with me was dangerous and he knew it too, taking off I shot through the building before breaking into a panicking mess of people running and a badly injured MewTwo. Growling I smashed the glass before grabbing MewTwo and using what little energy I had left I flew us away from the lab, they would find us again soon enough but we would be better prepared to defend ourselves by then. After getting a good distance from the lab I felt my energy failing, flying as low to the ground as I could without hurting us both should I black out I tried to keep myself conscious. Thinking quickly I found a nice place to hide MewTwo before taking off again despite my tired mind, the sound of helicopters and those strange little frog buggers who's name still escapes my mind caused me to start panicking. Diving for the trees I flew between them as fast as I could in hopes of losing them, just when I thought I was fine a sharp pain shot through my leg causing my focus to waver as I crashed into the ground sending dirt flying everywhere. Groaning I looked at my leg to see a sharp five point blade from those frog creatures lodged into my thigh, standing up I attempted to walk only to fall again with a groan. This hadn't been my escape outcome I had hoped for but at least MewTwo was safe, looking around me I noticed I was surrounded by both humans and their disgusting Pokemon hybrids.

"A foolish but brave move you did there MewLing, you never cease to amaze me with your ideas and power, since we can't find MewTwo thanks to your genius idea of hiding her we might as well just take you," the man grumbled, electricity began to sting my limbs but I didn't fight this time. So long as Liam and MewTwo were safe I was willing to go through any pain I had to in order to keep it that way, glaring at the man one last time I felt myself slipping out of consciousness. MewTwo saved my life once so I will do anything to save hers, curling tighter into a protective ball I closed my eyes as everything turned black.

"Stay safe MewTwo......... I will find you when I can........ heal yourself first......." I called through our mind link, I could feel the ancient Pokemon disapprove of my idea but in her weak state she couldn't do very much. The feeling of movement finally sent me into a sort of stasis, with a sigh I accepted the horrible feeling of pain as I allowed darkness to overcome me.
