It had been a few days since you moved in with the ninja, and you had quickly become best friends with Nya. She showed you her samurai armour, and gave you a tour around your new home, even letting you try out the course on the deck of the Bounty. You surprised the others with your speed, and finished the course in good time. It was like a dance routine to you.

Nya and the boys had set you up in Lloyd's room, seeing as he wasn't there and the only other vacant room was Sensei Wu's.

You were about to head up onto the deck to see the ninja train with their new elemental powers when you heard noise coming from Sensei Wu's room. Peaking in, you almost burst out laughing seeing Kai in a green gi shouting weird catchphrases.

The ninja had told you about the prophecy of the green ninja and you knew about Kai's obsession of becoming the legendary ninja destined to defeat Garmadon.

You watched as the "green ninja" started to do some pushups seeing everyone else coming in from training.

As Kai jumped up, he saw everyone laughing in the reflection of the mirror. He turned around quickly, pulling down the hood.

"Very nice," Cole teased, "perhaps if you tried the phrase, "fire dork" maybe it might work."

"How long have you all been watching?" Kai asked in a worried voice.

Jay ignored the question, exclaiming, "The green ninja suit, that's awesome!"

"Well I was looking for some kind of clue from sensei," Kai begun to explain, "and then I found this..." he trailed off.

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the green ninja, and only he should wear the green ninja outfit." Zane piped up. "So sensei would most likely be very-"

Kai interrupted him, not wanting to hear the rest.

"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on it might help me find my true potential." He stared off through the window before continuing. "It's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers, and I still haven't."

You felt a bit of sympathy towards the porcupine. Sure he could be a hothead at times, but he just needed some help discovering his purpose, that's all.

"Besides, sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back."

As if on cue, an old man's voice could be heard outside. "Hello? I'm home."

The other three jumped for joy. "Sensei!" And went running to meet him. Kai fumbled around not wanting to be seen in the green ninja suit, so you just followed the other ninja to meet their teacher.

You were walking out to where the ninja were meeting Sensei Wu when you heard Jay explaining what he had missed. "Zane's a nindroid, Nya's the mysterious samurai, Cole's a dancer, and now (y/n) is living with us so she can get your help!" The master of lightning rambled on, and you waved at the mention of your name.

"Zane is a what...?" Sensei Wu asked, trying to price all the Jay was telling him.

"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai have discovered our true potential."

"Have you now?" He turned to face you. "I'm assuming your (y/n)."

You nod as he continues. "Where is Kai?"

You turn to see the red ninja huffing and puffing. "Right here." He ran up to the group dusting himself off. "So glad you're back safe."

Suddenly, four arms appeared behind the ninja's sensei, hovering over him menacingly. A man, or at least what you thought was a man, jumped out from behind Sensei Wu. You noticed his helmet with a bone attached to the top. He basically screamed villain.

"Sensei! Behind you!!" Kai jumped towards the man, unsheathing his sword while Zane jumped in front of Sensei Wu. The four-armed man and Kai grappled on the ground, the red ninja trying his best to attack while the man glared at him.

You watched the fight in complete confusion.

"So we meet again." The man growled at Kai.

"He must've followed you Sensei!" The hothead continued to push his sword closer and closer to his enemy.

The ninja's sensei ran towards the two fighting. "Kai, stop! He is the reason I left."

At this, Kai stopped and stared down and the evil lord as Wu continued. "So long as Pythor has Lloyd, he will be our guest." At this point, the ninja stepped in.

"We have to live with this guy?"

"But sensei, he has four arms!"

"Must I remind you ever since he turned evil he's been trying to steal our golden weapons?!"

Oh, that's Garmadon. You thought as you put all the pieces together in your head. Jay had told you about Garmadon before, but you didn't realize that this was the guy. And from the ninja's reaction, you assumed the extra pair of arms were new.

"Enough!" Wu's yell brought your attention back from your thoughts. The ninja lined up addressing their teacher.

"Yes sensei."

Finally able to get up, Garmadon spoke. "This isn't about the weapons, it's about my son!"

Jay also told you how Lloyd had been captured by the serpentine and his relation to Lord Garmadon. At the time you wondered if the man named his son like that on purpose, wanting him to become lord one day like himself.

The dark lord walked a little behind his brother as he addressed the ninja. "From here on out, you will obey me and you will respect my brother."

The ninja gave Wu a report on their progress from when he had left and after they finished, the old man asked the ninja to show Garmadon where he'd be staying. As you were about to leave with them, the ninja's teacher called you back for a talk.

You go below deck to his room, the green ninja suit back where Kai found it. Sensei gestures for you to sit by the table and you both go to sit. He pours you some tea and you talk for a bit.

"So to my understanding, Cole's father found and raised you, and you have no memories of anything before meeting him?" The wise old man asked. You nodded and took another sip of your tea. It tasted just like Lou's.

Wu looked down at your cuffs before continuing. "Where did you get those cuffs?"

"Oh I'm not entirely sure. I was wearing them when Lou found me, but the inside says that they're a gift from someone called Grandpa K."

The sensei looked thoughtful for a second before talking again, "Could I see them for a moment?"

You nodded and tried taking them off, but something weird happened.

They couldn't come off!

You struggled trying to get the cuffs off your arms, but they wouldn't budge.

'Please do not attempt to take them off, it will be impossible as long as I will them to stay on.' The voice of an old man said.

"Huh?" You turned to Wu, but he hadn't said anything. "Th-they won't come off." You told Wu, unsure whether or not you were hearing things.

The old man furrowed his brows, but just continued drinking his tea. An awkward silence  filled the room before Wu spoke up again.

"I was told you somehow teleported our of the way of falling debris, did you know you could do that?"

"No, it's never happened before, I honestly thought I was going to die! I thought of never getting to see Lou again, and never seeing the sunset, then I was suddenly falling through the sky! I panicked and thought about Lou still being trapped under all that junk and then I was backstage again." You told the sensei, recalling the events of that unnerving day.

It looked like Wu had made his decision, putting his cup down to face you. "I believe it is best that you train with Nya and the ninja until we have uncovered more clues to your past. You may be an elemental master like the ninja, and I'm curious as to what those gems are on your cuffs."

"So am I sensei, I want to know more about my past!"

"Then get some rest, training begins tomorrow."

You thanked him for the tea and left him to his thoughts.

The day had gone by fast, your first day of training wasn't as hard as you thought it would be. Unfortunately the ninja weren't having as good a day as you were.

They were freaked out by the way Garmadon brushes his teeth, but you didn't take any notice. At dinner, Kai glared daggers at the Dark Lord as he ate weird black slugs and things. Cole leaned over to Kai.

"What's he eating?"

"Condensed evil, supposed to be low in fat."

Later on that evening Jay and Nya were watching a movie, to which Garmadon kept turning the channels, laughing at the screams on the TV and probably the faces of the two teens he just interrupted. There was a storm the next day, and while everyone stayed inside the Bounty, you saw Garmadon, sunbathing?

How does that even work? You asked yourself, and wanting to know the answer, you went out to the deck to join the four-armed Vader.

He heard your footsteps and turned to face you, opening one eye.

"You do this too?"

"No, but it looks interesting so I wanted to try it out!"

He chuckled and you spread a towel next to him and later down. If you were being honest, ignoring his appearance you couldn't imagine this guy being evil, and even though you knew he was, you had a large amount of respect for him. Not everyone has the will to become roommates with your enemy. Kai definitely didn't have the will for that.

While you relaxed, he talked about the serpentine war, and his adventures in the realm Wu found him in. You could tell he just needed someone to chat with, seeing as the ninja didn't want anything to do with him, and he obviously didn't want to talk with his brother.

It was cool listening to his stories, like a dad telling his kids about all the times he had gotten into trouble. After the storm cleared you thanked him for the stories and waved goodbye. Garmadon seemed less like an evil villain to you and more like a crazy uncle.

The sky darkened and you decided it was time to rest. As you got comfy in your bed, you heard the voice again.

'Those two have truly changed.'

You bolted upright hearing the voice. "Hello?" You called out, but no one was there.

'You don't have to talk y'know. I'm in your head'

In my head?!

'You know what? No I'm not, I'm actually in a pig.'

Sorry. Who are you?

'I won't say now, but it's nice to finally talk to you. I've had my eye on you for a while.'

You have? So do you know who I was before I met Lou??

'Yes. But you do not need to know where you came from yet. There is a reason I took your memories.'

Why can't I have my memories?!

'You'd know too much, now go get some rest. I didn't mean to disturb you, I was just lost in thought thinking of the brothers.'

You mean Wu and Garmadon right?

No answer came as you were only met with silence. It was a little harder getting to sleep now, discovering the fact that you had a voice in your head, but you tried your best to put it to the back of your mind, and drifted off to sleep.
