1.Keeps his word
2. Doesn't mess with another man's horse
3. Doesn't cut in front of another rider on the trail or crowd him from behind.
4. Doesn't make someone else do all the work.
5.doesn't wave when he meets another rider on the trail ( might spook the horse )
6. Never talks down to anyone ( it one rider dismounts so does the other )
7. Always closes the gate behind him
8. Removes his spurs before entering into a house or his pick up truck
9. Never leaves spur marks on a horse
10. Doesn't cuss at another man's dog.
11. Knows that a clean saddle blanket is more important then clean sheets.
12. Never knocks down another man's fence.
13.Never steals another man's wife.
14. Puts away his horse before he puts away dinner.
15. Picks the easiest route when riding a mountain trail horseback.
16.Never rides a horse on hard ground but on soft ground.
17. Never gives the horse to much work.
18. Never jumps his horse into a run if he has a long way to travel.
19. Knows which way the wind is blowing and never kicks dust in another man's face.
20. Never makes anyone wait on him.
