What we offer  to others will always find a way back. An inexperienced writer receives a career help through a friend and tries to work hard. A year later the person's work gets published on an established site. The person kept on doing the good work and tries to help those with similar publishing interests. Life is a boomerang, unless we develop to give it to others, we will not get back.
