Red Game Pt. 2
+A month passes: National Meeting: England, London+
A month has passed and two hints were only given so far.
The first hint had been a mangled up old hoodie. They were told there was a story behind it and only those three he mentioned knew it.
The second hint had been revealed to the world when the meeting had been held in Washington, USA. Red Leader told them that his old friends lived in England since they grew up together there.
This was also a reason why national meetings have been held more in England than in other countries. Undercover agents were sent out to observe civilians living in different provinces.
"I say we call them out on live television! Tell them to come out and help us by order!" Albert exclaims standing out from his seat frustrated. It's been a month with no results even from their collective information from the many incidents they've read over for the red hoodie hint.
Charles shakes his head, he just couldn't agree among other representatives who thought the same. "If we call them out, they might leave the country. Then it would even be harder to find them."
"But what if they hate Red Leader as well? They would be happy to assist us." Hana suggests not really taking either side of agreeing or disagreeing.
Charles rubs at his chin in thought. "We don't have a lot of information to go off of... Weather they support him or disagree with him, we can't just take guesses that will hurt the people."
Albert taps his finger with frustration against the table top. "The people want us to help them with these three mystery peoples aid."
"Could we somehow convince Red Leader to give us the rest of the hints?" One of the other representatives, France's rep, suggests. A woman named Eva Richard with blond hair and green eyes.
"That's probably for the best, yes?" Hana says in agreement.
Charles crosses his arms, "If we could somehow contact him then yes. It would help to locate them or at least one of them." He nods his head before uncrossing his arms to pick up his tea.
Albert, who had typing away on his computer, stood up abruptly. It had earned the attention of some of the other reps in the room. "Holy shit!"
"What now Albert?" Charles questions the American man.
The tall brunet turns his computer around to show his email inbox open. Upon closer inspection he read the subject.
<Red Leader's Contact>
"What?!" Charles stood from his seat to come around the table to read the email further. "Who sent this to you?"
"Probably from the leader himself," Albert said scratching the back of his head. "I checked the email to see it was horrible joke but the email checks out by the name alone. It's probably one of his many accounts."
"Well, what are you waiting for? Read it aloud!" Eva says standing up with her hands presses flat on the table top.
Charles fixes his glasses and starts to read the email for them to hear.
Greetings Representatives of Government Officials,
It has come to my attention you may need assistance from myself. I have attached a way of contact to call me.
However, be warned, this way of contact is good for one call. Once the call is over the number is as good as dead.
Enjoy,
Red Leader of the Red Army
Albert raised his fist in the air and shook it. "I swear he's toying with us. Thinks we're useless!" He continues to rant on about said man while Charles is ordering the guard to get them tech support.
+Red Army Base: Red Leader's Office: Norway+
Tord whistles as he plays a first person shooting game on his computer. The controller in his hands gripped tightly as he's about to make a new record.
"Almost-"
He leans forward in his seat until a new window pops up suddenly from his screen to bring up a video call.
"Fuck!" Tord drops his controller in surprise and falls off his seat. He groans as he pulls himself back up to sit on his chair once more.
Confused, he looks at who is calling him on his main computer. He scoffs thinking it's White or Black Leader again to discuss territory again.
He hits accept with a second thought to scold them for interrupting his game. He had been so close to beating Tom's old record.
"I swear to hell-"
"Red Leader!"
That voice didn't belong to White or Black at all. He looks to the screen to see the representatives of the each Nations' government officials. They seem to be in a meeting room gathered together looking at him through the screen.
Now this was entirely a different problem.
His eyes narrow at them, "How the hell did you get my personal contact?!"
"What?" The British man with dark blond hair responds confused. "Red Leader you were the one to send us this contact information in an email."
Tord shook his head, he doesn't ever remember sending anyone an email with his personal contact to lead right to his main computer. Much less to government representatives for this matter.
"Who sent that email?" He questions them with a stern tone, his expression matching quite well.
An American man looks to his computer, saying, "The email is [email protected]."
It took a moment for Tord to remember that dreadful email before startling all the representatives in the room. He bursts out laughing to the point he was bent over hugging his stomach.
All of them were confused while the fearsome man continued laugh. "You- Hahah- Think- pfft-" Tord sat up and shook his head. He wiped a tear from the corner of his good eye. "Hilarious really, old friend."
Tord got out a few more laughs before he recomposed himself. The anger from the interruption of his game and seeing the government reps gone completely.
"It seems one of my old friends had decided to help you this once while staying hidden." Tord grins as he rest his cheek against his hand looking at them.
That sent murmurs through the meeting room on the other side of the call.
"I'm sure it's the one who hates me the most. That one did create the email for me after all."
"Then we can get in touch with one with this email." He heard one of the women representative say to her colleague.
Tord waves his hand at them to say to not even try. "It won't work, that one is smart in different way. Tracking that one would be hard by that email and they wouldn't risk being caught by sending that one email." He chuckles behind said hand he was waving about. "Besides I did say that email was made for me."
"Anyways Red Leader," The British man calls for the attention to a different topic. "We've called for a reason. Based off the hints you gave so far, we have no leads to finding them. Would it be possible if you could give use the three other hints now?"
Tord hums in a playful mood, "What would I get in return for all three hints to be given now?" He has to give the hints publicly after all for the world to hear in this game.
"W-Well..." The man said unsure how to proceed.
"If you cannot offer me of equal value then I might as well end this call now." He was about to end the call but the American man spoke up to save their skins.
"We'll provide you with something you want!"
"Oh?~" Tord pulls his hand back from the keyboard. "You've caught my interest. Explain further."
The tall brunet looks around the room at the other representatives who seem to agree silently to what he had said to the dangerous leader. He looks back to the leader with his head held high.
"Name what you want and we'll do our best to obtain it for you in exchange for the rest of the hints."
Tord sat back in his seat think what he could ask from them. World domination? Too easy with no thrill. He was going to do it with his own power anyways.
His tapped the side of his head as the representatives waited anxiously for his answer.
"Fine, in exchange for the rest of the hints now, you must let me talk to one of my old friends. Pick the one who hates me."
"That's it?" The Japanese woman peeking from behind the American man questions quietly.
"Do we have a deal?"
"Yes!" The brunet responds with no hesitation nor confirmation from the rest of the group.
Tord smiles, "Perfect. Then I shall give you the rest of the hints." He bends down to pick up his forgotten controlled to place back beside his monitor.
"Third hint: one of them adores cola, another loves mirrors, the last poisoned with alcohol."
People in the room took notes while others listen carefully.
"Fourth: they're friends, they stay together and are never far apart from one another."
Tord taps the counter for his final hint.
"Fifth? I'll say is specific to one in particular. The one who hates me the most wears a hoodie like myself but opposes the color, he is tranquility and I am wrath." With a grin he moves his hand over to a key on his keyboard.
"Remember the deal, Good Day."
The video is cut and Tord is left running his fingers through his hair out of frustration. He didn't know Tom would play an assisting card to the government secretly with not tracer.
He smirks as he folds his hands together on his on his lap. "Then again, Thomas is always a fun opponent unlike others who lose so quickly."
"I wonder how this game will go about."
+Meanwhile: With Tom+
Tom acted with no suspicion after leaving the public library after sending said email. He had an acquaintance who knew how to get the right information for a good price.
It was nice every once in awhile to piss Tord off even if war is going on right now.
Buzz Buzz
Tom stops and pulls out his phone to see who's calling him. He unlocks the phone and picks up the call, "Hello?"
"Tom where are you?! Matt's covered in glitter again and I need your help to unglitter him." Edd, back in at the apartment building in Matt's apartment, looks at his friend with a scolding expression.
Matt slides down into the glitter pit that is occupying his large bath tub, full to the brim with star and circle glitter.
Tom sighs, "He did it again?"
"Yup." Edd answers with a tired sigh.
"Well I'm out right now, I had to send something out. Do you want me to pick up anything since I'm on the way back right now?" Tom asks as he resumes walking in the direction of the apartment.
Edd hums as he looks between the glitter tub and Matt. "Pick up balloons and cola."
"Cola I understand, but why balloons?"
"Don't question it Tom, you'll see why when you get to Matt's apartment." The brunet couldn't help but chuckle seeing Matt getting cozy in his pit of glitter looking pleased with himself.
Tom turns when he notices one of the usual stores that he knows. He was sure they have balloons last time he went. "Blow or no blow?"
"PG Tom! PG Language!" Edd childishly shouts into his phone while Tom laughs on the other end of the call. Edd coughs, "Anyways they need to be deflated. We can put air in them ourselves."
"Alright, I'll be back soon."
Both of them hang up the call and continued with their tasks.
Tom entered the store with his hands resting in his hoodie pocket. Going forward he headed into the soda aisle and grabbed a pack of cola. Next he went to the party section to grab a pack of balloons.
In the back of his mind, a creature purrs in a lulling way. Tom smiles to himself a little.
'If you behave, I'll let you play with some of the balloons later.' Tom thought, the monster within him listening.
Childishly the monster who shares his body feels elated and Tom could picture them nodding their head.
'I'll behave.'
