I need your skin [Marvel Shitpost]

This a spoiler free Drabble for NWH. I just... I'm coping. Also a quick reminder that my drabbles take place basically in a separate multiverse than the MCU. In my drabbles, Thanos never wins so the blip never happened. Peter Parker was born the same year as my sister so I know in my universe, he is 20 years old.

Also, please keep the comments spoiler free :)

Thank you.

Peter rocked in his head side-to-side, his neck cracking a couple times as he made his way up to the study room at Stark's place. He was paying a visit to the Stark family over Christmas break but he, Ned, and MJ had agreed to continue some work over break to come up with their senior thesis- sure, they were a couple semesters ahead. But being prepared never hurt anyone.

When he opened the door, he stopped in his tracks as he took in the scene with wide eyes. Shelby Ferrell stood next a table- no, four tables, pushed together- with chairs scattered throughout the room. Laying on the table, shirt off, was Thor. And Loki stood off to the side, arms crossed over his chest. He didn't look happy.

Shelby looked to the door. "Well, well, well, if it isn't Peter Parker."

"Dr. Ferrell." He nodded.

She scoffed teasingly. "Don't patronize me."

"Hello, Spider-Boy!" Thor yelled with his face still smushed to the table.

"Hi." Peter waved for half a second before realizing Thor couldn't see him waving, and his hand fell to his side. "I'm sorry, I just- I thought this was the study room."

"Oh, it is." Shelby stated.

Peter eyes bounced around the room as his eyebrows furrowed. "And you're studying..?"

"Palpations. Dave wants us to keep functional anatomy fresh in our heads for classes next semester." Shelby smiled.

"Who's Dave?"

"Her professor, obviously." Loki muttered.

"You... call your professors by their first names?"

Shelby shrugged. "They insist. I still keep emails professional though."

Thor finally lifted his head from the table. "Shelby was finding my infraspinasaurus."

"Infraspinatus." Shelby muttered. "But yes- Thor and Loki are wonderful for palpating. Especially muscles. I was finishing up upper limb with Thor and I did Loki's lower limb earlier."

"Does that mean we're done?" Thor asked.

Shelby frowned. "Well- I mean, I guess. I was kinda planning on going over the spine though..."

"I'm not taking my pants off again." Loki stated firmly.

Peter shook his head and blinked. "What? Why were his pants off?"

"'Cause I gotta feel things. I gotta feel them with my fingers." Shelby stated as she made grabbing motions in the air with her fingers.

"I have an idea! Why doesn't Spider-Boy take a turn!" Thor suggested, sitting up and launching himself off the table.

"What?" Peter asked, alarmed.

Shelby shrugged. "I don't care who I'm palpating. Peter, shirt off, let's go."

"What? No!" Peter exclaimed, gripping the bottom of his shirt.

"Come on, I gotta count your spinous processes! That's hard to do with clothes in the way!" Shelby whined.

"She is persistent." Thor stated as he pulled on his shirt, he and Loki beelining it for the door.

"Yeah, good luck." Loki muttered as they exited.

And so, it was the stand-off between the MIT student and the DPT student.

"Peter, there's already three layers of skin and fat between me and your underlying structures- don't add clothes into the mix!" Shelby begged.

"You're freaking me out!" Peter yelled. He turned to leave, but watched in horror and the door slammed and locked in his face. He turned, horrified. "When did you learn magic?"

"It doesn't matter. I need to finish my palpations, Parker! Ribs, spine, and SI joint!" Shelby yelled.

"Stop saying words I don't understand!" Peter countered.

"SI? Seriously? Aren't you supposed to be, like, as smart as Tony Stark?" Shelby laughed.

"At math! I'm a math guy! Not a biology guy!"

"It's anatomy, actually." Shelby pointed out, before blinking and shaking her head. "Don't distract me. Shirt off!"

"No!"

"I need your skin, Peter! I'm just a baby PT- I need skin-to-skin contact for some of these structures, it makes it so much easier!" Shelby begged.

"Wouldn't it be easier if you just stripped the skin away?" Peter asked, his tone sarcastic.

Shelby nodded. "If I could, I would."

"WHAT?"

"Well, skin still gets in the way! Me and my classmates talk about removing our skin all the time." Shelby brushed it off. "It's actually pretty easy to do with a scalpel."

"Ew, god, what even is PT school?" Peter cringed.

"What? You just cut, lift, and slice across. It's really simple. The fat underneath cuts like butter."

"Are you speaking from personal experience?"

Shelby blinked. "I mean, yeah. I dissect cadavers- was that not clear when I mentioned the scalpel?"

"I'm gonna be sick." Peter huffed.

"Peter, please. I gotta practice this stuff to keep it fresh in my head." Shelby stated, her hands pressed together like she was getting ready to say a prayer. "I'll do anything."

Peter lifted a brow. "Anything?"

Shelby paused, frowning. "I mean... within reason."

"What's the limit?"

"I won't sleep with you." Shelby stated.

"Oh, god, no. That's- I wasn't trying to imply that." Peter gushed, his face turning bright red.

Shelby rolled her eyes. "What's the deal, Parker?"

"When I need a subject for any physics experiment, I can count on you to volunteer." He stated.

Shelby grimaced. "Ew, I hate physics."

Peter gasped. "How can you hate physics?"

Shelby scrunched her nose, shaking her head as if she had a foul taste in her mouth. "Because math is the vain of my existence."

Peter gasped. "You take that back right now."

"Only if you apologize for hating anatomy." Shelby countered.

Peter's eyes narrowed. "Touché."

They stood for a few moments in silence, sizing each other up.

Shelby took a deep breath. "How many times do I have to volunteer?"

Peter thought for a second. "One experiment for every half hour I have my shirt off."

Shelby pursed her lips, humming to herself. Finally, she nodded. "Fine." She extended her hand. "It's a deal."

Peter smiled, walking forward and shaking her hand. As he did so, Shelby's grip tightened, causing Peter to look down at Shelby, who was staring up him with dark eyes. "Now, shirt off. I'm counting those spinous processes."
