Today was just... weird.

First of all, I went to bed last night at around 11, which is not normal for me. The reasoning was that I was having some friends and family over for my birthday, and the last of them didn't leave til 9, and then even though I was ready for bed at 10, I still had to study for some tests I took today.

Even then... I just didn't sleep. I kept having this dream... I don't really wanna get into it because last time I tried to explain it, I started crying. I've had this dream before, so I should have known to change the dream, but it was sorta one of those thing where it's so intense that even though it's horrible, you just can't look away from it.

Plus Lord Voldemort was the villain in the dream so I was like "well let's see what's gonna happen with him here"

Nothing good

I made myself wake up to stop the dream at around 12, but the dream just continued when I went back to sleep. At 2 I woke up from being dead sleep in a cold sweat, so I think something in the dream literally scared me awake. And then I had the dream again, and I think I might have ended up offing myself in the dream cause I woke up after doing something bad and yeah I was a mess. Anyways, I woke up that time at around 5 and so I just checked my notifications until my alarm went off.

The rest of the day... idk it was just a limbo. I think I spoke a total of eight sentences the whole day. It didn't help that certain people who will not be named won't leave me alone. That and a combination of my dream and my mom being in surgery kind of made me really out of it.

Oh yeah, my mom got an ovary taken out today. I was gonna post a part asking for prayers, but I did that literally two months ago with my sister so I didn't want to seem like I was just trying to get attention. She's fine now, she just woke up in post-op.

And that's why we had a party yesterday, on a Thursday, which is a really weird day to have a big party. It wasn't my actual birthday, but we weren't sure if we would be able to host people on my actual birthday with my mom's surgery, so we just had it yesterday.

Speaking of birthday, I got some really cool things.

I got two Pandora charms for my bracelet, one was from my friend, a blue ring with white stars painted on there, with jewels in the center, and then a charm that says 18, from my grandma.

So far I have those two, and I also have a heart with a garnet stone in the middle, a turtle, a cross, a dog bone, a charm that says 16, and a soccer ball.

I also got another ninja turtle blanket, some money, and a pound of sour patch kids.

Then Lindsey made me a gift, which was a mason jar with 18 memories we've had together inside and it was super cute. It started when we first met in Kindergarten and went all the way to graduation (even though that hasn't happened yet). It was super cute.

I think I have one more present coming. My parents are giving me theirs on my actual birthday so I have something to open.
