Settled down + APH states

Hey I'm a lot less shook today so I'm gonna post a part *lazy confetti pop*

Anyways I've been thinking a lot about the personifications of the US states lately (similar to hope_forever_18 's provinces), and I think I've come up with some stuff

First, they don't consider themselves a huge family. With Hope's provinces (I'm referencing back to her characters just because most of us are familiar with them), there's only 13 provinces/territories, and while I believe that while certain groups stick together (like prairie provinces, for example, but don't quote me though), but for the most part they're like a big family.

But with 50 siblings, plus a few territories thrown in there, I don't really see that working for American states. I think they would be more strict with their group. Like, the Midwestern states only really hang out with Midwestern states, and that's it.

Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio would be a group. Thru only interact with each other. Like a cliche. Illinois would definitely lead the group, given Chicago is the most well-known city of the group.

The west coast states (California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and probably New Mexico and Arizona) would be another group. Given California could basically become it's own country if they wanted to, California would obviously be the lead figure in the group.

Of course, even when they divided into groups, some of the more well known states would be recognizable. For example, all the states would know California, New York, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Florida. But if Hawaii and Kansas were in the same room, they wouldn't even realize it.

I also picture America would interacting with the more well known states on a regular basis, and then everyone else either finds out from them, or remains ignorant.

Those are just some of my thoughts... Spilled onto a page... Sorry
