So, I've never been much of an anime girl

I know, that might surprise you because of my undying love for Hetalia, but Hetalia was literally the only anime show I've ever watched (excluding anime movies like Ponyo and Hotarubi no Mori e), and it took me a bit to get used to it.

So even though I see a lot of other anime on Insta and on here, like Soul Eater and Black Butler... I just had no interest in them. Hetalia was, like, an exception. I was certain that it would be the only anime I would ever watch.

Now... Call it peer pressure, but the majority of the HetaSquad has gotten into this anime called Yuri on Ice. They kept making references to it... And I was just completely lost. All I knew was the Russian guy who looked like Russia from Hetalia had the same voice actor as the Russia from Hetalia. And I really had no interest in watching it... I mean, who watches a show about figure skating?

But I finally watched it.

Okay, so the first thing that caught me by surprise was the intro music.

It was in English.

It Hetalia, the outro song for dubs is still sing in Japanese.

And then the intro song was soooooo looooonnngggg.

I was like, "... Dude this is like 3 minutes long, we're not even gonna have time for the show."

I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT NOT ALL ANIME EPISODES LASTED 5 MINUTES

IT WAS LIKE 20 MINUTES LONG

LIKE AN ACTUAL SHOW

This only further proves to me that Hetalia is straight up crack.

But I finished all the dubbed episodes that are out. I'm not gonna watch the sub, since the next episode comes out soon in English (sorry, not a huge fan of sub unless it's Miraculous). And I probably won't watch it until next weekend, because the eps are so long.

But yeah.

I have a new fandom.

And it's another anime.
