So this morning, I woke up and thought to myself; I don't have to do any homework today. I'm getting my Christmas shopping done today, and I'll only be gone an hour for lunch tomorrow with Ash and Kaitlyn, I'll just read my book and do some bio tomorrow. No big deal. I'll just get a bunch of my Christmas drabbles done so I'm not rushing to finish them on Christmas Eve!

*insert Trump voice* Wrong.

I only finished two Christmas Drabbles and spent the rest of the day 1) making the cover for my next trash book, 2) making a parody of "Alexander Hamilton" for the description of my trash book, and 3) being distracted by FREAKING CHRISTMAS MOVIES

Then, at around 12, my mom tells me she's going Christmas shopping with dad and to just send her the list of stuff I need for my friends. Literally perfect. I don't have to leave the house.

Then, she tells me we're going to see Rogue One tomorrow

Awesome right?

Wait for it.

My parents come back literally four hours later and my mother informs me that she wasn't sure what to get my friends so I'll be shopping with her for them tomorrow.

Even though I gave her a list.

So instead of just having to interrupt my homework for lunch with my friends, I have to go see Rogue One at 10, lunch with my friends at 1, and shopping right after that, which is never a simple task when it's me and my mother.

Point is, I was just reading my English book from 9:30 to 12 to try and get as much as I can done before tomorrow and I still didn't finish the required reading because the weekend read averages around 60 pages versus the usual 30 and I read it out loud so it doesn't put me to sleep so it took me really long :)

But I learned that electroconvulsion therapy is still a thing and apparently it's a very normal thing in Michigan hospitals. I mean, my teacher could have made it more local on purchase, but of the three articles she gave us, all of them talked specifically about UofM performing ECT, as well as Henry Ford, Detroit Mercy... All of which I live by.
