We saw MacBeth today

It was so good in person

My only complaint is that they completely skipped over the, "What, you egg!" Part. That disappointed me greatly.

But they did this really cool interpretation of the MacBeth's final fight scene. Not only was he fighting MacDuff, but also the ghosts of Duncan, Banquo, Lady MacDuff, and MacDuff's son, basically his inner demons. And in the end scene, when they were all shouting "Hail, King of Scotland" with Malcolm looking so tough and proper, I got legitimate goosebumps.

Also I may have developed a slight crush on MacBeth •////•

I mean, he was really good looking in my opinion. He was Asian, which is not at all how I pictured him (being the play takes place in Scotland), but man... The dude could act.

He ended up shirtless which I don't think was part of the original play but I didn't mind ಠ◡ಠ

And he kept looking at me while he was doing his soliloquies. I know in plays, the actors are supposed to be finding faces in the crowd, but from first time he addressed us to the last time, he looked at me, and I was trying not to fangirl.

And then... There was the bus ride XD

It wasn't too bad except for one part.

So our bus was driving out of Ypsi, and we pulled up next to another bus. There was this obnoxious kid who kept waving at everyone and trying to talk to us.

And then he looks at me and does the "call me" sign with his hand.

I just shook my head like "Please don't do that"

And then Kera goes, "Ooooohhhh Shelby, someone wants to call you tonight."

And the entirety of the two AP English classes looks at me, and goes, "Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh"

And I'm just sitting there mortified like please just kill me

Anyways that's about it.
