I've been watching videos on people's opinions on Michigan accents and such (cause procrastination)

And... Everyone describes us as having nasally voices

Apparently, we elongate our A's and do something weird with our O's AND apparently it's not normal to say frigerator instead of "refrigerator". Also, I guess we're not very good at separating our words and we talk like our mouths are half closed?

That's all fine and dandy, but I guess I hate knowing people think Michiganders sound nasally. Even if it's true, ya know?

Idk, I already think my voice is wayyyy to deep and scratchy, but it's also nasally?
