Summary: Bucky ends up on Shuri's tiktoks, hijinks ensue.

It had started so innocently. Shuri posted a tiktok of her dancing to Doja Cat in her lab. She hadn't realized until after she posted it that Bucky had stepped into the background looking blankly at the camera. He then just stood there, eyes going between her and the camera. All of the comments of course wanted to know who this mystery man was, but Shuri just kept on with her normal content. Her followers had a collective heart attack when she convinced Bucky to do a Tiktok with her.

It was a simple Tiktok, Bucky walking towards the camera while the camera was also moving backwards. He lip synced to Therefore I Am by Billie Eilish and the product was something Shuri loved, even if Bucky thought it was totally ridiculous. Shuri didn't caption it, gave it no context, and people who found the tiktok went nuts. Bucky was already gathering a small following of simps who only followed Shuri for him. There was something so funny and amusing about it to her.

When Shuri got out of the all-terrain vehicle, and walked through the tall grass to Bucky's goat farm, she couldn't help herself. She pulled out her phone and started recording her broken white boy playing with his goats. He looked up at her, a smile spreading across his features as he realizes she's there.

"What?" He asked.

""What?"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" he laughed lightly. According to her comments, the look in his eyes could be described as pure adoration.

"Looking at you like what?" That's when Bucky earned his title of Himbo. Shuri did not believe for a second that's what he was. Sure, He was very attractive and didn't have an education past high school.That didn't mean he wasn't smart. It was incredibly funny to see these people calling him a Himbo, though.

With Wakanda opening up its borders, so came a boba shop and a Starbucks, much to Okoye's joy. Shuri had tried boba while on a visit to Oakland, and she really wanted to have Bucky try it. He usually let her drag him around anyway, so he thought nothing of it when she had him wait at a table outside while she got a drink. He also didn't think anything of it when she pulled out her phone, Boba in hand.

"Try a sip," She ordered. Bucky quirked a brow at her, glancing at the phone in confusion. He hesitantly leaned forward, a confused smile turning his lips. He paused, staring into the void as he processed what was in his mouth. She ended the recording there, deciding not to record how even though it was her drink, he drank the whole thing.

Then there was that time he reminded her she taught him meme speak. Did she lie to him about what certain phrases mean? Yes. Was it funny? Also yes.
"Say that again?" Shuri asked, snickering. The others around the table were either laughing, had their face in their hands, or were in disbelief.
"Can you please pass me the Hurricane Tortilla?" He repeated, looking confused. Shuri lost it, dropping her phone on the table as she doubled over laughing. The others lost it to, Pepper Potts with her face hidden behind her hands.
"What? What did I say?"

Shuri snuggled up against Bucky on her couch, tucking her head under his chin. He sighed as she pulled out her phone, pretending to be annoyed by her shenanigans. In reality, it was Shuri, and he'd put up with a lot more crap than her putting him on Tiktok.

"Bucky, do you know what a himbo is?" She asked. He thought about it for a moment before she just answered anyway. "It's a very attractive man who isn't very smart."

"Ok," He replied blankly.

"How do you feel about Tiktok calling you a Himbo?" Bucky stared into the voice, waiting for it to look back.

"Why?"

Crap hit the fan when Peter posted Bucky swinging around Morgan on his Tiktok. What he thought was a cute moment went viral. People were going nuts, commenting things like, "Wait, Peter Parker knows Himbo?", "OMG HIMBO YOU'RE ON THE WRONG PAGE", "Wait is Himbo the Winter Soldier?" and so on and so forth. It didn't take long for this one tiktok to absolutely explode. People were making the connection, since Peter Parker was Spiderman, and he knew Bucky, who's vibranium arm was on full display. Articles were calling him the next Oncelor, asking if it was ethical for a criminal like The Winter Soldier to be the next big thing on Tiktok. So Shuri sat next to her broken white boy on the bed and pulled out her phone once more.

"Hey," She said softly, teasingly. He looked down at her, glanced at the camera and sighed, a smile playing on the corner of his lips.

"Hey."

"How do you feel now that everyone knows your name is James Barnes?" there was a long pause.

"I prefer Bucky."

This was a part of her video diary, the only part, that belonged on the internet. She was looking off screen at Bucky, looking annoyed.

"Bucky, I'm working. Now is not the time to give me the brat energy."

"Oh no, poor you." Shuri's eyes lit up, her mouth open in surprise. Tiktok wasn't sure if he could still be called a Himbo after that was posted.
