Stevie and Riley had gotten into a fight with another boy at school, so now Sam, Bucky, and the boy's father is sitting in the principal's office with their kids.

"Mr. Barnes, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Walker, I wanna start off by saying that this school has a zero tolerance for fighting." the principal said.

The men nod in agreement.

"So, what exactly happened?" Sam asked.

"Which one of you wants to explain what happened?" the principal asked the children.

Stevie raises her hand.

"Okay, Stevie, tell us what happened." Miss Lewis said softly.

"At recess, JJ and his friends were playing Army and I wanted to play too, so I asked them if I could play Army with them. Then they started yelling mean things at me telling me that girls have no place in the army." Stevie began.

"JJ said that a woman's place is at home cooking dinner for the men and making babies...whatever that means." she added with a confused shrug.

Bucky's, Sam's, the principal's, and Miss Lewis's jaws all dropped at the same time. Then Miss Lewis glares at JJ's dad.

"We'll discuss that later." Miss Lewis said sternly, sneering at Mr. Walker.

"Continue, sweetie." she told Stevie.

"Okay, after they yelled at me, JJ and his friends pushed me down and called me the b-word and then JJ said that girls will never be as strong as boys." Stevie said.

"And then I punched him, showing him just how strong a girl can be." Riley added.

Miss Lewis stifles a laugh, covering her mouth with her hand.

"So, JJ was picking on you and Riley defended you?" the principal asked.

"Mhm." Stevie nodded.

"JJ...is any of what Stevie and Riley said true?" the principal asked the boy.

JJ doesn't answer, he just folds his arms, pouts, and looks away, avoiding eye contact.

"Mr. Barnes, you can go ahead and take your daughter home. Mr. Wilson, your daughter will have two days lunch detention for the punching. And Mr. Walker, your son is suspended for a week for bullying." the principal said.

"WHAT!?" Walker shouted outraged.

"That little b**ch punches my son in the face, giving him a bloody nose, and he's the one who gets suspended!? That's complete bullsh*t!" he yelled.

"Excuse me!?! What the h*ll did you just call my daughter!?" Sam shouted at the man.

"You heard me. I called her a b**ch, cause that's what she is." Walker replied, stepping up to Sam.

Then, POW! Sam punches Walker right in the mouth, instantly knocking him out.

"Come on, Ri, let's go home." Sam said picking up his daughter and placing her on his hip.

He steps over Walker's unconscious body and leaves the office. Bucky picks up Stevie and does the same. When the four of them get home, they hang out at Sam's house.

"The girls have been pretty quiet for the past hour, you think they're up to something?" Bucky asked.

"Eh, probably, kids are always up to something when they're quiet." Sam replied.

In Riley's room, the girls were coming up with ideas to bring their dads together.

"Maybe we could lock them in the closet until they admit their feelings for each other and be boyfriends." Stevie suggested.

"Nahh, that'll put too much pressure on them." Riley said shaking her head.

"Yeah, you're right. Besides, Daddy is a bit claustrophobic." Stevie agreed.

"Hmmmm....we could trick them into having a romantic candlelight dinner." Riley said after a few minutes of thinking.

"How are we gonna do that?" Stevie asked.

"Well, first--" Riley began but was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.

Then they heard some arguing and went to see what was going on. They were shocked to see Sam being arrested by the police.

"Papa? What's going on?" Riley asked getting scared.

"It's gonna be okay, Riley." Bucky assured her.

"Why are they taking him?" Stevie asked, also scared.

"Well, the guy he punched pressed charges, so they're taking him to jail. But, don't worry, in the morning I'll get the money to bail him out." Bucky explained.

"So...he's gonna be in a cold jail cell all night?" Riley frowned.

"Yeah, I'm so sorry, but there's nothing I can do right now." Bucky sighed, crouching down and hugging Riley.

Bucky hated seeing the little girl so upset, he also hated the idea of Sam being in jail all night. Sam was just defending his daughter against some mouthy jerk, he didn't deserve this. That night, Bucky hardly got any sleep, he was too worried about Sam. When morning came, Bucky had Natasha watch the girls while he went to the bank to get the bail money.

"I'm here to bail out Sam Wilson." Bucky told the front desk lady at the jail house.

"Oh him? Yeah, he's not here right now." she replied, not even looking up from her computer.

"What are you talking about?" Bucky asked confused.

"His cellmate mistook him for someone else and jumped him. Beat him up, stabbed him, he's on his way to the hospital right now." the front desk lady said way too nonchalantly.

Angry that this lady obviously didn't care that Sam was seriously injured, Bucky slams the money down onto the counter and heads to the hospital. As he's driving to the hospital, he's hoping and praying that Sam will be okay. He had to be okay. Bucky couldn't handle the thought of losing Sam...which made him realized that he was madly in love with him.
